Overall, Safeway provides a pleasant shopping experience with a good balance of convenience and variety.

The smallest Safeway I've been to thus far.
It's very easily navigable, without the crowds found at other Safeways.
Restroom is a single one - for everyone.
Very clean, & w/excellently fresh produce.
Parking for all vehicles is closer to the door than at other Safeways, & the parking lot is very, very flat, so both walking in & pushing a cart out are very easy.

Great little place to grab the "essentials". Most of the produce is fresh and there is a wide variety. Admittedly, I generally don't get my produce here, but I do get my meat and "snack on" here. The variety is quite nice. Also one of the few places I have managed to find fat free mozzarella cheese, which is great when you are on a macro diet and need a bit more protein with no other macros. My regular haunt!

This market has lovely produce. Excellent small wine selection. Saki too! Roast chicken from the hot bar was delicious.
I would be delighted if this was my local supermarket.

Very friendly cashiers. Though some products are a bit overpriced but not to much. Apart from that, one of the best stores in Safeway network.

Was looking for some pretty flowers and of course Safeway had a great variety.

FIRST TIME HERE AT THIS LOCATION. WAS DRIVING BACK TO HOTEL AND DECIDED TO STOP IN FOR SOME LUCKY CHARMS AND HALF AND HALF. NICEAND CLEAN INSIDE CLEAN BATHROOMS. GREAT CASHIERS. NICE PEOPLE.

Amazing courteous help from a man whose name starts with "T" (I think). He helped me get the last can of tea (top shelf all the way in back.). When it turned out to be a flavor I was not looking for, he suggested another location in the store. Found 3 cans of what I wanted!!! Yay! Thank you!

I love my Safeway. It may be a smaller one but all necessary cleaning supplies, toilet paper & tissues are in stock. Worker's are all awesome and so friendly. Smaller store = less people shopping. And have been ordering groceries online when I don't have time to shop and orders have always been ready within a few hours. Best flowers, plants & fruit too❣

Their staff are professional, cool, and down to earth. Their selection is unmatched in the neighborhood by far, and they have a good selection of organic foods. It's the college safeway. A little pricy too. It's pretty easy to spend 100. Bring your own bags.

This safeway is always clean and open late , always has cute college girls walking around and has a lot of staff that have been there a long time. A staple of the neighborhood even though i try to shop elsewhere since its so pricey

I got the greatest help from a gentlemen at the deli department. I called looking for rotisserie chicken breast and he put the two a side so I can go right over and get it. Great customer service walked out of ther getting more then I planned. That store was great clean.

Safeway is improving in terms of selection, cleanliness,. layout and service. Five dollar Fridays are a.neat way to buy meat, and there was a nice selection of cold craft beers in the end fridge (I bought a 12 pack). Four check out registers were open and so we only had a short wait (less.than.ten.minutes,) which is as.good as it.geta at Safeway.

Always great here but days vary when it’s crowded. Look for great prices when logged in as a member. Veggies are okay but picking and making sure it’s ok is a key to goodness; buying anywhere. Crowded when it’s Friday payday

Good store! Nice employees....SCU students have been shopping here for decades...much improved. Love the FLoral and gifts dept. Wide aisles, good displays...no surprises.

Everything is fresh and store is so clean as sick as I am I still was able to get to Safeway Gilroy and Santa Clara bought a big pumpkin filled with so much candy but now it's covid contamination so no one gets candy bought it for my grandkids o well I'm almost out of here I Will buy more candy stores filled with it

Coming from Washington DC and those Safeway's this will Safeway is like our whole foods it was clean and tidy and the staff are excellent I wish they could bring the district and store managers out east to upgrade our stores. The produce section was fresh without any old produce everyone there was happy to help with anything.
