Safeway

The local people call this ghetto Safeway, but I love the small size compared to our Plaza Way Safeway. It's Safeway, a little bit of everything! Small parking lot, but centrally located in Walla Walla!

I'm from Minnesota and we sadly don't have Safeways any longer. Was visiting my mother in Walla Walla. Shipped here twice in a week, everyone was nice (even Starbucks staff) and it was clean.

Its a good place to shop the prices aren't that bad. I enjoy being in there and if I can't find what I need I go ask for help

Love this store in Laveen Arizona. The associates are helpful and pleasant. The whole store knows us and chats with my son. The produce people dab him up and don't care that he samples the grapes and tomatoes. The meat department is knowledgeable and friendly. There is something positive I can say about every department in that store, from the baggers to deli and management. This store is awesome.
The store overall is a good value. They have fresh produce. The store reward system is fair and helps save on gas.

The staff is the best quality of this store. It's always nice, clean and well stocked.
The prices are, I believe, above average on some items. Other items might be a good deal. Some good deals.
I was going to give this Safeway 4 stars because of higher costs, but because of associates like Nancy, Keith & Wanda (&others) this store deserves a five.

This Safeway is referred to as "ghetto Safeway" by locals, it's not in the nicest part of town and is frequented by the homeless, but it's my favorite place to shop. You won't find nicer employees anywhere and it feels more like a little community, especially if you're a regular there. The cashiers are so friendly, I've seen them use their own money to help cover the remainder for moms buying groceries, help elderly shoppers get home, etc. The pharmacy staff is always kind and efficient, I won't fill my meds anywhere else. All of the staff I've gotten to know over the years ask how about life, how my kids are, etc.

Always helpful employees with smiles on their faces. Especially in the self checkout isles. Top brand products and fresh produce at low prices too. Love being a member here!

Great customer service!
The manager Steve and a sales associate Chelsie helped us with a special purchase. Both were very friendly, professional and caring.
And in the past, when there's been a mistake with the check-out process, the management has been quick to make things right : )

Out of the country, wanting to send flowers for a special occasion. I called and described what I wanted. My family sent a picture, raving over how stunning the bouquet was. The florist was SO WONDERFUL to work with and obviously did a fantastic job!

Rose st Safeway puts plaza to shame their customer service is AMAZING! Highly recommend adding the Safeway app as well. I personally am not one to want to do the whole app thing but super easy and plenty worth it there is always hidden savings well worth it!

I have shopped Safeway for 60+ years. Always clean, can get rain checks on out of items, good sales weekly, convenient locations, easy parking, self checkouts.

I left movies in my cart and drove away When I got home and discovered that I did not have the movie I drove back to Safeway in a panic. The service desk had a helpful young women helped me look and the asst. manger and the clerk helped me locate my movies. Great service-wonderful employee's.

The pharmacy at this Safeway has always been awesome, they go above and beyond when it comes to any medications or questions you may have. We have used them for at least 10 years and have never had any issues at all. We also do alot of our grocery shopping here too because they are always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this store.

I shop at this Safeway all the time because its close to home and on my way to work. They always have kind and attentive cashiers and typically do well keeping the lines moving quickly. Right behind slbest buy this is my second favorite place to shop. I'm glad they do so well with hiring good people and hope they continue to do so.

I go to thr one on rose..there id a cashier there a older lady..always happy and doesnt mind the simple conversations let a lone i was on the self check out and went over on my budget so i couple buy a few things so i went to her lane to let het know i was super embarrass but she ended up being thankful and appreciated that i told her since most p dont and just leave there stuff behind for others to clean up or figure out. It was great. I made her evening and she made mone as well. She always a pleasure . that is why i cont. To go back to Safeway . foe me i need a connection i dont care bout price. For that. Thank you

Such a great store. Clean, fresh veggies, big store. Checkout is fast and the checkers are very courtious. So many things to choose from. Plus, if you have a Safeway card, you get gas points as well.

This Safeway Pharmacy is always very helpful, and accepts discount coupons from GOOD RX cheerfully. With Good Rx their prices are usually the lowest or within a few cents of the lowest available. I recommend them, and much shorter wait times than Walmart Pharmacy that also has good prices, which Safeway usually matches when using the Good Rx Coupons.

We are visiting from out of town , great selection of food, produce. Young Male cashiers were friendly, Devon was helpful with getting help for the balloons we needed. Nice store!

I always prefer to shop this Safeways store vs the one located in Southgate area, partly bcuz it's a smaller store so I'm in and out with a quickness, plus, I enjoy seeing the same faces I always see when I'm there, it's more ..personal for me .
