Always a pleasure when Mahd is assisting me . He always goes out of his way and makes shopping there very pleasant .

Great store has everything including my favorite international delight creamer & a variety of flavors. The staff is helpful and the store is kept clean and the pharmacy is wonderful. Always a fast and pleasant checkout .

I was there today to get my flu & Covid booster vaccines. I was very early. They took me right away. My husband as well. The pharmacist was so gentle, informative, patient and kind. While she was helping us there was a woman at the counter screaming at a cashier about her insurance. I witnessed so many people being outright rude and hostile to the employees. We can do better people. The same stuff making us stressed also stresses them. Yet they smile and say thank you.

Thanks CVS employees for all your hard work. We see you! We appreciate you.

As of Monday 5/9/2022 store closes at 10:00 pm NOT 11:00pm. I'm going to assume they close at 10pm every weekday. Not 11:00.... Great store.

It's CVS, it is a pharmacy, they do vaccines, they have sundries, makeup, some groceries, some holiday items, baby items. They have gotten expensive but if you need something, they are often open.

The parking lot is terrible.

The wantagh facility is filthy and smells like urine. Carpets need to be professionally cleaned ,esp in pharmacy area. Counters and chairs should be cleaned regularly with disinfectant. Until the unsanitary conditions are addressed i will not get any vaccines here. By the way, my family has used this same cvs for over 40 years, and it is deteriorating rapidly.

WARNING!!!!!
One: Make sure you check expiration dates on any food. I’ve recently started to notice after one bad purchase, that a lot of items are past the sell date.
Two: Just yesterday I went to grab a drink out of the fridge and saw the entire row was frozen! 😂 literally cans were on the floor in the case in plain site busted from freezing 🥶 All of the soda, juices, even the freaking milk were frozen!!
Three: Of all the CVSs in the area USUALLY have what I’m looking for. Even after the renovation and expansion, I still constantly feel like I’m on a hunt for basic items, most likely not finding them and then muttering expletives under my breath lol.
Sorry CVS but the first two points are a health hazard and seriously need to be addressed.

I was in scrubs and I always shop there but I was being followed the last time I went as if I was going to take something and leave. I had my 3,000 dollar designer bag so I took out my credit card from my 600 dollar wallet to pay for what I purchased then they stopped looking at me funny. Yes I have tanned skin! I did not appreciate that. And I love CVS it’s one of my favorite stores.

Worst Pharmacy. Always a line. So slow. I’m changing pharmacies because today 12 in the afternoon there were 10 people on line and 6 people waiting for prescriptions to be filled. Just kept watching the incompetence of the staff telling customers contradicting information and wasting everyone’s times. I go in and they said my prescription wasn’t ready but it’s been a week since I asked it to be filled. Then I asked about another prescription and they said oh we didn’t fill it because insurance wouldn’t cover it. I said no one ever told me that the staff member was just like…oh..well go to drop off window and tell them you want to pay out of pocket. I wait 5 minutes to finally speak to someone and her incompetence made me just walk away from her put what I was holding on the nearest surface and walk out. I’m done with this place

For years I have dealt with CVS Wantague's inefficiency and incompetence. My most recent visit was the last straw.
I always find it prudent to call a day ahead and ask if all my scripts are ready. I get a yes, I get down there, and EVERY TIME, oh, no, I have to wait. What do you mean? The doctor called it in DAYS ago and you JUST said it was ready!
And then recently and a few times before, they didn't even have the forethought to call me when they got a script and say hey, we are out of stock and will be for a while, instead they wait until I am there (after they said it was ready) and out of pills and now I am left without a pill that isn't optional, putting my health at risk. It's called being PROACTIVE learn it people!

To make matters worse, the staff looks at you like you're nuts for being upset over their constant screw ups. Especially that impatient short female head pharmacist. Her scowl....augh. They are slow to boot and just miserable to deal with. I am out of patience (rightfully so), and I am though being polite over stuff that they should have sorted, and I am DONE. I don't want to hear any more bulls*it excuses. DO YOUR JOB! Literally apes could do better.

The only person back there that knows what they are doing is Heidi. Give that girl a raise, a medal, a nice vacation, and make her the head of the pharmacy. She always got it right and always has a smile waiting. She handles screw ups with grace, but sadly, she hasn't been there for my last few pick ups.
