Los Altos Ranch Market

Yesterday afternoon we went shopping and were half way thru and the lights went out in the store. We were by the deli in the back. It was very dark but you could see where you were walking. Everyone remained calm and the staff immediately followed their protocol for this emergency by locking the doors and standing in front of them. We were told we could check out if we had cash. We put a $100 bill and a $5 in the register and it shut down. We owed $116. Our attendant was extremely nice and tried to be helpful and directed us to the manager. We waited awhile and she finally agreed to let us give her $15 in cash and my number and leave. The attendant saw us put the cash in because she was helping us. About an hour later they called and said they completed our check out and had our change. We were very impressed with the handling of the entire situation and everyone was extremely professional and polite. We love this store. We live an hour away so it's always a fun treat when we go shopping there.

I’ve been coming to this location for about 20 years. At first I was hesitant because the price on pastries had gone up to 99 cents a piece, but the quality of the pan dulce has gone up tremendously. I highly recommend the raspberry filled sweet bread, I ate three in one day and will be going back for more.

I looked all over trying to find chicken soup. And I found it here at Los Altos Ranch Market. Excellent employees. Plus the workers are very nice and hard working. Thank you so much for having a nice variety of meals.

This place is getting pinched if you're just a regular American. But if you know what you're looking for and how to look for it you can find quite a bit here at ranch market. Most of the staff speak English and only a few just speak Spanish. But I think it's a good balance. Got a good deal on beef. They have some good deal every once and a while.

Huge parking lot with lots of spaces. I was shocked at the variety of food available inside. They have a great bakery with a good amount of baked goods. I have tried several different cakes and cookies and they are all so good.

Every time I make a trip out here from North Scottsdale I am amazed at the courteousness of the staff. My first visit was at the time they had the lottery, I was at self checkout and I asked the lady if they have cards...do I need to sign up. She gave me a huge smile and said "No, we ALWAYS have good prices" She is not kidding. Last time I was there on a Tuesday and the ladies were all really sweet and the food was great! Store has fresh made tortillas a cheese,deli, counter fresh meats and whole fresh fish with clear eyes. This time they had a real treat whole pompano. There are lots of ready made salads (fruit, shrimp and greens with chicken) and nicely prepared tamales. Produce is unmatched in price and they never set out anything that is not fresh.

Viva la mexican everything! Authentic stuff! Store is understaffed and the wait time in line is excessive. Be prepared to wait but the meat, seasonings, hot food, Bakery and butcher are all spot on. Don't drink their juice, it tastes like plastic. They do not wash the plastic bottles before filling them and you can taste it

Again no pics , my apologies. Ranch market is always a good place to go. I have been to many places and given several reviews bit Ranch market nails it for such a homey smell. There is always a lovely fragrance of smoked chicken (pollo). Hatch chili's and perhaps Tamales or Menudo lingering in the air while your shopping. I think it's better than the michaels cinnamon smell.
Really it reminds me of home or one of granny's dishes. Mostly Hispanic food but of course that's what it is. Delicious food a d I'm sure if you ask anybody working there could give a you a great recipe. Friendly, fast, delicious, plenty of parking. But riff raff surrounds this place.

If you have app called upside you can get cash back on whatever you buy from this grocery store! It's a Win because everything here is affordable and has a food court as well. Not a lot of people come here so it's a win and don't have to wait in line that long to check out

Absolutely amazing place!! We got tacos and torta for lunch with horchatta and Sandia (watermelon drink) and was delicious!! Their tortillas are fresh made in house at their tortilleria and are so tasty! They are for purchase as well. Lots of fresh produce for very fair prices. Lots of meat and seafood also priced for a steal. Their panaderia (bakery) is phenomenal too! 10/10 would recommend.

A must go to store. Hands down best market I've ever shopped at .perfect set up and items are beyond what someone could dream of when Hispanic food Is number one on your list. They kill it when your looking for bomb foods. !!!

Great Mexican market with everything you need and little food court too. Fresh tortillas and guacamole are favorites.

What I primarily came in here for today was to pick up some carne asada. However, I also checked out the produce section, and I was pleasantly surprised by the selection in both the meat, and produce departments! Also, the store was clean, and everyone (including staff and patrons) were friendly. Check out was quick and easy.

Juevos Rancheros were absolutely delicious and cheap! The juice bar is also amazingly priced and tasty, love that I can pick what fruits/veggies I want in my drink! Amazing store I will be returning ☺💕
