Safeway

My favorite layout. I've tried other chains and found them to be be confusing about where everything is, but someone used to shopping at Fry's might disagree. It's the place I'm most comfy shopping in.

Today Nick made me the best chicken salad sandwich ever! His customer service is top tier. My daughter and I sat at the park and had a picnic with work of art that he created. I'm so thankful to him for making my experience today at Safeway a memorable one ♥🙏

Went in for cookies and spent 75 dollars. Came out with shrimp, puppy pads, bai drinks, spam, lysol, tissues etc. Plus we got a starbucks on way out. So guess the trip went well. Was an easy in and out.

Great sales. Very clean
Pleasant staff. Not overly crowded or busy. Good selection.

Modern and well stocked. Staff is helpful. Handful of vagrants hanging out around the outside. US Bank inside, parking spots for pickup orders, and a Starbucks inside

Great place to shop! Very nice store. Occasionally, I like to get some Starbucks from here because it's conveniently located inside. Mainly, I like their selection and prices of babywipes and diapers at this location. I remember once, when my kid was running around, the manager came over and offered her a cookie. I though that was super nice of him.

Great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, tasty bakery items, and the deli is fantastic. The employees are always helpful and friendly, and the pharmacy is always there when you need them. It is my favorite neighborhood market!

I encountered 5 employees when I shopped here the morning of 3/13/22. I will say they all have the best customer service. When I entered an isle, they immediately said good morning. The female employee in the bakery was kind and very sweet. The blond male cashier amazing customer service. I say this because I've been to a few that are more north of here and they couldn't be bothered. Great job here! I highly recommend this Safeway 👏👏👏

I enjoy the Safeway deals. I grew up in the Midwest. When I was a small child my mother would always shop there. I still remember the big metal bins with all the rainbow colored balls.

The Safeway introduced me to the Dogg's finest wine selection and it was a special price!! I even used some for cooking my chuck roast I purchased from the Safeway and it turned out wonderfully delicious!! Good job Safeway!

Always easy in and out. The Starbucks inside is a plus and my pharmacy

Safeway would disappear as soon as we left parking lot but not at cave creek rd. Wherever that went.

Great store, not pet friendly. Deals on meat is great at times, sometimes 50% off original price and their produce is always super fresh. Manager gave my kid a Ballon once and is always greeting us with a smile and a wave.

Hardest working and most friendly Pharmacy staff. Started as their shopper during & post COVID. Always going outside the box in helping regular shoppers as well.

Penny is a literal angel. Please don’t ever let her go. We called about baby formula and she was seriously the nicest person I ever met. She held it for us, but told us the policy is only 30 minutes which is understandable so my husband rushed over there and we got it! But even my husband said she was such a nice lady. It’s so hard to find formula right now so this was such a blessing. Thank you Penny and Safeway for having my baby’s formula! No where else has it right now, I was seriously so happy when I called and checked. I will definitely be back.

I really enjoy going to this Safeway. Not only is it close to my house but it's a great supermarket. I'm a daily shopper so I know people in most departments and they are all great. Super friendly and helpful. I don't think I e seen the store dirty. Check it out if you haven't!

We really enjoy shopping at Safeway. We have tried Fry's, and yes you do get fuel point shopping at Fry's, but the overall savings is better at Safeway. The selection is much better as well and the quality. Just recently we have moved and Safeway isn't as close as Fry's is. We have been shopping at Fry's for about 2 weeks and ultimately just not satisfied with the private select brand and Fry's in general. Safeway has a much better bakery section as well as app for shopping and saving. We prefer the Safeway store layout better as well and there are some products not store brand that you can only find it Safeway. Although this is not the same Safeway we have normally shopped at, we plan to return shopping at the Safeway.

Very friendly staff and good selection. So glad they have self-checkout. I just shopped there and the wait wasn't bad at all. It's not my every day store, but it's a very convenient place to grab stuff after work. Also, their bakery section is pretty fantastic. Definitely better than Fry's.
