I have been going here since 2011/12 and always have had a great time over the years. The current staff is super helpful and accommodating. They really will take as much time as you need to help you learn any and all games, rules, etc. As a disabled person and person of color, I never feel left out or treated differently. Even when I came down with oxygen tanks etc never any issues. Only thing to know is the wifi in the store is not good.

As for the events the judges are very knowledgeable and my only complaint personally is that there isn't more magic events such as FNM most people are only commander players.

However, the approach to fees and play space usage can be a tad unconventional. While the membership model is understandable, it does create an interesting dynamic that might not appeal to everyone. This peculiar aspect, while a minor hindrance, does not overshadow the overall positive experience.

AG is a really awesome place to come out and place tabletop games and TCGs. They have a consistent schedule, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and also great customers.

Highly recommend for local tabletop and card gamers. This place has everything and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have tournaments and themed days also for certain things. Their D&D minis section is enormous and the whole shop is well stocked. If planning to sell alot of cards definitely give them warning because this place is pretty consistently busy. Also they have warhammer tables which is sometimes a rarity for game stores along with some limited terrain and structures for obstacles

Staff was friendly and courteous, and the shop was very clean and organized. Wish I could have stayed longer. Big area of tables for games and a computer set up, which was really cool to see. Highly recommend!!!

I was visiting family here in Pennsylvania an my cousin told me about this place. It was absolutely a pleasure playing here. They have many tables for Magic The Gathering. Several huge tables for miniatures that aren't near the MTG table space. The workers were very knowledgeable an their collection of MTG cards are vast. The players were awesome to play with as well with various strength levels of decks. I look forward to coming back here in the summer.

I have been going here since I was a freshman in Highschool, I am now starting my second semester of college. I met some of my best friends and learned many new skills. Absolutely zero tolerance for bullying and a safe space to be yourself and game. I 100% recommend to anyone who is interested in the hobbies they carry.

Was in town for work from Germany and randomly came in on friday night, to see if there where any magic games.

The employees where incredibly helpful and the whole community super welcoming. They quickly organized a pod of EDH. Also very reasonable prices. I hope I will be visiting again soon. 12/10 recommend. The next day I went to NYC but game nigjht at adventure games was definitely the highlight of this journey.

Very friendly employee, tons of miniatures. All of their board games were on clearance and we got 2 copies of Space Base for a STEAL! Looks like a great little store

Great selection of cards, and 9/10 times the service is awesome. I’ve been here a few times, and have always gotten exactly what I needed. —Unfortunately I’ve run into a reoccurring issue with one of the employees. They are quite rude, and are generally just in a bad mood. It makes the whole experience quite uncomfortable. However, I don’t believe his actions should reflect on the business as a whole, I love this shop so I’ll still give the 5 stars.

Friendly Staff, Great Atmosphere, Good Prices! An amazing place to play games like Magic, Warhammer and D&D or Pathfinder. The LAN is also a very fun feature at the store! The community at the store is very helpful, if you have questions about any game there is someone that can help you. My friends and I have been going to the store for almost 3 years now and it’s a great place to be where you feel safe and don’t have to worry about getting into trouble. The membership program is also very cool. You pay $10 a month or $5 if your a college student. With membership you can hang out, go to the annual Christmas Buffet, and you get 10% off items. Overall an amazing place that I would highly recommend!

good people and fun events. only complaint is that they don't have as much Pokemon product or Yu-Gi-Oh product as I expected. but I love the store space and the people that work there are good people and the community there is very nice.

First time customer last night and I have to say my first impressions were great. Store is nice and roomy for games, staff were really friendly and answered all of my questions. These types of stores are usually staffed by one of two types of people. Either people like the ones I met last night or people that don’t seem to care if you are there or not. After a not so great impression at another store I was discouraged that I would find a place to call my LGS but I think this will work nicely. Prices seem good too.

Adventure Game is a great store! I have visit twice since this is 2 hrs away from me. I stop by cuz my wife was doing some training in Scranton. So I figure to stop by while she was at the training. And I have say the people and the management are top level! I stop playing YUGIOH! in 2012 and recently I started playing again and I was afraid of visiting a store to play in a tournament! But the guys at adventure game were awesome and made me feel comfortable! I recommend visiting! I wish this store were closer to me !

Specific to Saturday Magic tournament, this place is awesome. Friendly for young and old players. Staff and regulars are friendly and will help you learn the game. Tons of D&D and Warhammer minis available for purchase; paints and everything. Cards, D&D manuals, TTRPG games, whatever you need.

Adventure Games is heaven for tabletop and card gamers. The business is well established as a landmark in the community and notable for how long they've been in the business. The owner is an extremely down to earth nerd (and I mean that as a great compliment) and his wife, Mary, is impressively knowledgeable about Magic the Gathering. They host everything from League of Legends tournaments to D&D campaigns. They even have an incredibly souped up set of DDR machines in one of the back rooms. One of the coolest places in the area, and perhaps this half of the globe, to check out if you're into comics, creatures, or cards.

I normally don't go here, however, my boyfriend on the other hand, practically lives here every other week. They have different varieties of games and also host card tournaments for Magic The Gathering. Very friendly and quiet atmosphere.

Great place to buy and sell Magic the Gathering cards. They have cheap fun MTG events some staff are rude. So if you don't have a membership and you try to play there you might get kicked out.
