After my last bad review. I visited three times this week and didn’t see the old man cashier with the horrible attitude. I also noticed the homeless people were not outside anymore. My wife’s phone was almost stolen if I didn’t stop it in my previous visit a month ago. So is probably good idea to get those weird people waiting in front the of the store off your business property. Definitely saw the improvement and I felt more at ease shopping there. Huge sandwich’s for 7.99 and a box of fried chicken for 5.99. Much Better ready to eat selections than Fry’s.
New update: I started to visit every other day to buy ready to eat sandwiches and oriental style fried chicken. Beats fast food joints any days on price and selections.

Check the specials each week and ask for custom cuts if you don’t see what you want. Richard butchered me a lean cut of bottom round for the purpose of making jerky. 9 pounds for $35. Mr. Perez was also training someone on meat cuts and how to select for different purposes.

Love this Safeway, 7th Ave Osborn. Lynnette is the most upbeat employee. She always engages with the customers, she makes the process of checking out so quick, knowledgeable of her duties, very helpfulness, courteous plus joyfull. She understands the layout of the store. She deserves a raise 😊. Thank you

Well besides my daughter seeing a homeless man fist fight with another guy outside the store(police showed up quickly) , they have a great selection of food and have in my opinion the best quality of meats, veggies, etc.

Great store--the folks who work there are very helpful and friendly and the store is well stocked & sparkly clean!! One of the folks who was very helpful was named, Ricky--he went to get two scooter carts, one for my son and one for another man because none were readily handy. Today is a payday Wed for many of us and those scooters are in high demand so I thought we were out of luck but he took time to look and came back with two!! My son has chronic illnesses and very seldom ventures out to shop so today was rare and Ricky made it possible for my son to traverse more of the store than if he had to walk. Thank you for helping today be a treat for my son!!

They had most of what I needed as far a sale items go. Also, my cashier was the absolute best. She was so very polite and helpful too. 10 out of 10 on customer service. That's rare to find 🥰

Won't give the stars I want to give because in general I love this store. But trying to get a sandwich or a burrito made here is like pulling teeth. I feel like they hate doing it and they give the job to the person who hates it most. Always super awkward

This neighborhood Safeway in Midtown is my favorite! For a big chain, the staff always makes it feel like your small town grocer. Want to try the fruit? Just ask! Better yet... when you're craving that perfect piece of steak for you and the fam- talk to Richard in the Butcher department!! I made a small comment about a thicker slice of steak and he gave me freshly cut beautiful thick steaks!! You've got a true butcher when you visit here! (Tip: you pay by the lb folks so you still get the sale price! 😘) And the bakery was so kind to help me find the best kind of 100% whole wheat bread.
Truly, the staff and clean environment keep me coming back!

Pretty large Safeway with just about everything you need. Had good member prices. Wasn't too busy for the time that we went

Our cashier was very friendly and it felt so good to have that pleasant interaction with her!

Blanca is the best!!

She makes me go out of my way to shop there for flowers. She has been a loyal employee forever there and goes out of her way to help me with my arrangements. I bring in my own vase and she helps me create a masterpiece 😀

Compared to the neighborhood the store is actually very clean and cordial customer service is excellent

This place has amazing sushi. I'm a sushi snob and I was skeptical about buying sushi from a grocery chain, but I've been coming back regular to pick up their fresh varieties. The staff is super friendly and they often have a tasting table set up. Someone told me it's a family outfit that's in charge of the sushi products - don't know, but they know what they're doing. So much variety and they're as meticulous as any sushi restaurant I've been to in Phx.

This is my main source of food. They are very friendly and the produse are always fresh.
