Big 5 Sporting Goods

This my be my favorite chain. Definitely my favorite store in Tahoe the service is always so friendly. As a BIG guy they always have my size. Love this place. If you can't find it in there it doesn't exist.

This is probably the only big 5 I’ve been to where the employees actually seem to care and help. I came in for an exchange am to purchase a knife from the daily saver ad online. Both of the gentleman behind the counter were very helpful. One of them took the time to locate said knife. Awesome experience they deserve a raise.

Bought some sleeping bags from here and realized about two hours later that they were the wrong ones. Went back right away and exchanged with no issues or problems. Customer service was great. Store seems to have everything you need for camping or anyting outdoor.

This store has improved greatly from a year ago. Chris was very helpful in finding exactly what we needed. He was also our cashier and helped us with the discounts and coupons. Great customer service.

All the staff was Super great! A new pair of shoes, a new fishing rod and line and good advice on some great fishing holes, not to mention getting my fishing license! It really is a great store and the most excellent staff! If you need anything fishing, definitely see Craig- he's the best!

Thank you big five for being here in Lake Tahoe. I needed a couple knee braces that would fit my legs and they had just the ones I needed. I always stop at big five when I’m in Tahoe.

I went in for some sneakers and came out with a nice pair. They had a large selection. The clerk was polite and was a great help. Cashier was very polite.

It was our first time in the snow and we needed a couple snow worthy items. We were staying in South Lake Tahoe and it was a challenge to find decently priced quality clothing and shoes at the local stores, we went to five different stores and even a thrift store before going into Big 5.
We found everything we needed at Big 5 to make our snow experience everything we hoped for! Thank you Big 5!

If you're going camping or to the parks or any of the beaches and you want to BBQ, stop at Big 5 at the "Y" and get a propane grill and little bottles of fuel first....Tahoe has a ban on open charcoal flames. Cost is only $39.00 for the grill. Propane bottles sold in pairs at about $6.00. You need to assemble the grill but trust me it's worth it! Big 5 is the only place in town that we were able to find a small tabletop Grill. The staff is Awesome by the way!

It’s a Big 5, so pretty standard in terms of what they have. However this particular Big 5 has the most helpful staff I’ve ever found at one of these stores. Customer service is a dying art, but the team here is keeping it alive.

This place usually has the best prices around consistently on sporting good items. Excellent choice of products! 👌

Bought a brand new fishing combo at home before I went to Tahoe. Sadly, the rod broke the first day I was there. I went and explained how it was bought at a different big 5. I asked if they would replace it and they were more then happy to help. They replaced the rod for me and even let me keep the reel. Thanks Big 5 :)

I really like this Tahoe Big 5. The lady manager I think her name was Kelly did the paper work for a 2nd amendment purchase. She's very nice and patient and knows what she's doing.. She made shopping here a pleasure...

One of the largest selection of camping and other sports related items I've seen at any Big 5 sporting goods stores.

This is large store with a very good selection. The person who helped was very helpful and found the product I wanted.

Craig is a superhero, this is the best place to buy tents in town!
