Great ice cream place in South Lake tahoe. It usually has a long line, but it moves quickly.

This ice cream shop has been around for decades and is must-stop-there for many visitors of Lake Tahoe. Over a dozen different flavors to choose from and different types of cones. You can sample the flavors before deciding. The ice cream is rich and creamy. The palace is popular with campers from the nearby Camp Richardson, so expect a line. Worth the wait!

Really delicious ice cream but there's a long line and wait. Like out the door like and almost a 30-min wait to get the ice cream. Had maybe the best strawberry ice cream I've ever tasted, so definitely worth it!

One scoop is enough for any normal adult, but I had to have two. What was I thinking. It was so good. I ate every drop too. We skipped dinner and it worth it. We had to wait in a 20+ minute line. Staff was very friendly.

Their ice cream Sundaes are great. The portions are great as well, I got wifey a double scoop! It was fun watching her trying to finish it 😊

If you are anywhere near here and enjoy ice cream, you have to stop here! Fabulous ice cream and very generous portions. We all had different flavored cones. I couldn't pick a favorite but my Kona Coffee was delicious. My goal is to try every flavor on the menu!

Ice cream was good and we liked the retro look. Beware, each ice cream scoop is huge. 😋

Every single time we come to town we stop here for ice cream. It’s a family tradition. We were just there today. Do yourself a favor start with a single scoop and if you can eat that next time get a double scoop. If you start with a double scoop, you may be surprised how much ice cream do you have to eat. They don’t fool around. They load up your cone.

Stopped here a few weeks ago while visiting Lake Tahoe. This was the PERFECT place to stop while on my bike ride along the nearby trail. The ice cream was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was quick despite a longer line. Definitely recommend for a sweet, frozen treat while in town!!!

This place gets very busy. The line was out the door but moved very quickly. The single scoop waffle cones were piled high with generous amounts of ice cream. Very good! We would definitely return!

Delicious ice cream in generous servings. Excellent service and a variety of flavors for the whole family. One Camp Richardson's parlor scoop is the size of 2 regular scoops. Lovely bike path runs just past so best to ride over to help burn off some calories! Be sure to call ahead for open hours during COVID-19 as hours may vary.

Great ice cream and service! They even offered my 2 dogs their own little pup cones (whipped cream in a cup). They are a mandatory stop every time I visit Tahoe.

Visiting this ice cream parlor is a tradition for us. The scoops are huge. The baby scoop is a normal amount and everything else is huge. Bathroom is inside, water is across the street at the picnic tables. There can be crazy long lines on summer afternoons.

Creamy, extremely satisfying ice cream - 3 scoops for just $4.50 (before tax), and waffle cone comes at an extra $1. Wonderful value for money and they taste great too

What's not to enjoy? Never came when dogs couldnt hangout with us. Though, I understand how some dogs are jumpers, take cones and are just aggressive. I'm a dog owner and was just surprised to see signs saying "no dogs"

Wow, we ordered the small and should have ordered the kiddie scoop (which is what I did on the next visit a few days later)! I like ice cream as much as the next guy, but the portions here are enormous. Great value for the money and the outdoor seating scenery cannot be beat!

Very tasty ice cream and the staff is great. They have a system for the ordering process that will make the best process for the line to advance!
