There’s nothing like a new pair of running shoes! Theresa was very helpful and knowledgeable. She helped me pick the perfect pair for my feet (and my feet are completely different sizes! That’s saying something!)… and I had fun in the process. I will definitely be returning to this business for my running needs!

Tri-State Running Company is THE BEST place to grab your running gear! The employees are knowledgeable and experienced runners themselves. They go above and beyond fitting shoes that will work for YOUR feet and experience. They also offer running groups (they helped me train for my 1st marathon), give discounts for students buying running shoes for school teams and they carry the best running gear (everything has been tested by their premiere runners).
They offer steep discounts on gear & shoes a few times/year. They've even helped both myself and my daughter through injuries - and provided invaluable info and resources for support. IF I could - I would give them a 10/5 Stars, because they truly go well above and beyond to help all levels of runners. NO big box store or other chain could ever try to match up to this local gem of a store and community!

The gentleman who helped us was amazing! He picked out different shoes, had us try on different pairs, and try on different shoe inserts to help as well. He was so nice and made it a great experience. Definitely will be back when I need another pair!

We had excellent service from Erin @ the Florence location. She showed my son what it was like to be fitted for a pair of running shoes. She taught him important things about running and the shoes. My son is 13 and has shown an interest in running to help with his conditioning for soccer. He is excited to run his first 10k. Thanks Erin for the great experience buying his first pair of running shoes.

Great staff and a great place for your running gear. They know how to find the right gear for each person.

Local to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky, Tri-State has a great selection of shoes and running attire.

The staff here seem to all know their business, and I've never gotten a bad recommendation when getting new shoes.

I bought my first pair of running shoes from them and the customer service was exceptional. I have continued going there ever since. They also offer training groups for preparing for your next big race for a reasonable price. Overall a great store they treat you like family.

My friend and I are both mid-50s, fat and out of shape. We started walking regularly and were having some knee/joint pain. We decided it was time to see the professionals to fit us with good walking shoes. It was a little nerve wracking to walk into a running store staffed by obviously fit people who love running. But we were treated with kindness and respect and had a wonderful experience thanks to Amy and her knowledge. Thanks so much! We will be back!!

For anyone with an interest in running, I would heartily recommend that you visit Tri-State Running Company. They have 3 stores in the metro area that are fully stocked with not only shoes and clothing, but also all of the other goodies like supplements, watches, recovery tools, car magnets, etc. All of this at very competitive prices! For me the big draw is the training group which meets at multiple locations twice per week and is geared to runners of all ages, body types and capability – from sub-8 min/mi groups to walkers. The peer support, camaraderie and friendship is simply unbelievable. In addition to the actual training, Tri-State also sponsors Fun Runs which run from a couple of the local breweries during the week. Check them out – you’ll be amazed!

Incredible customer service. We bought running shoes for our daughter for cross country. Tri-State, is a locally owned company and gives great discounts to local XC teams - which is awesome. Our daughter loved the shoes - and PR'd in them!

The really special thing about Tri-State though, is their customer service. About a month after we bought the shoes, there was an manufacturing defect that had nothing to do with Tri-State. The stitching failed and the tongue of the shoe fell off (this is a major running shoe brand that I trust, so clearly a random defect). I took the shoes back to Tri-State to ask how best to contact the manufacturer to see what our options were. Instead, Cameron (one of the owners) gave me a full discount, no questions asked. I even told him that I just wanted to know the best way to contact the manufacturer... and he told me that he would take care of it - as his customer, I shouldn't have to worry about that. Talk about incredible customer service! This is a great place for runners of all levels - they work with you, care about you, and want the best for you and for the running community as a whole. Great company.

I had a great experience here. Randy was immediately friendly, kind, and patient. Due to circumstances outside of their control, they did not have the very specific model/size of shoe that I was looking for. He still put me in six or seven different shoes to help me try and find an alternative. This store is everything you want whether you are a student, an experienced runner, or someone who just wants to try the sport out. I also love the fact that Tri State Running sponsors many of the local races.

Great experience here this morning! Needed new shoes after putting too many miles on my old ones. They measured me and recommended a few great pairs. Very happy with the service and my new shoes. Will definitely be back!

Can you get athletic footwear cheaper somewhere else? Of course you can. But at Tri-State, you get a depth of experience tailored to your individual physiology. That kind of expert and personal service makes an enormous difference.

Tristate is one of my favorite local stores. They cater to a multitude of customers, not just runners. I've had family members pick up different types of footwear as well.

Very nice and help people. If this is your first time purchasing "fitted" running shoes be sure to bring your old shoe as it helps them match you up. I've purchased both pavement and trail running shoes here, however, their trail running selection is quite small. Over all very friendly and helpful would highly recommend getting your running shoes here.

I had my first experience with Tri State Running company during the Flying Pig marathon in Cincinnati earlier this year. I wanted a light weight running shoe and some essentials for the race. As soon as I walked into the store, I was greeted and had someone available to talk to and answer questions. The customer service was excellent! For an experienced runner who wants the right information and the right advice on what to buy - this is definitely the place to go!

There was some confusion with an on line order I placed - so there was a delay in my order. My shoes were delayed and I was scheduled to go out of town. When the shoes came in - Karen delivered them to my house with a lovely handwritten apology note. That’s what I call great customer service! I won’t hesitate to make another purchase.
