Classic Kroger experience. It is amazing the amount of food they have stocked in the aisles consistently here. They have great deals on the app and with tons of their coupons. The store did not seem like a small Kroger, it had plenty of aisles and selection to choose from. No complaints for me and this is a solid option for your grocery needs.

I do not agree with the 3.9 rating this place has. This is a great Kroger location. This is the River Oaks area of Houston and this location has everything to service any kind of customer. The absolute best thing about this Kroger is that it is the absolute lowest price lunch in the area. In the Deli section is the premade meals and they are 6 bucks. You cannot get a 6 buck lunch anywhere in the River Oaks area and this Kroger is selling Chicken Cordon Bleu, Meatloaf and other items with 2 sides for 6 dollars you just have to heat it up. This place is never that busy during lunch either so this is a Lunch Hack for the River Oaks area. Highly recommend this Kroger location it has everything and is going to have lower prices than other chains in the area.

I haven’t been to this location since moving, but it was convenient to another appointment and it was fast, clean, and I loved their pre-made salad bowls.

I love Kroger. Always the cleanest and the nicest workers. Every section of the store is signed clearly which allows me to get my shopping done quick and easy. The check lines never have a line. Also more than two cashier's working at once and the self checkouts are always working. Thank you Kroger for making such and easy shopping experience.

I cook gluten free. You can get good cake mixes that are gluten free here. In the small “health food” section.

This Kroger location, located in River Oaks, is very clean and well kept. They have a very large assortment of fresh products. I recommend getting ribeye steaks and large jumbo shrimp from their meat department! There is a vast selection of fresh meats, produce, and deli choices to choose from. There are several alternatives for less expensive items similar to the large supply of the name brands that may be on your grocery list. Known, not only for their quality, quantity, and customer service, but even the customers here are pleasant. Overall, this location gets you in and out very quickly and even can fill your prescriptions in the pharmacy while you shop. The workers are very friendly, the store and parking lot itself provide plenty of accommodations for handicap access, and also ample security for you and your personal property while you are arriving, shopping, and making your departure. Best of all, I saved alot of money utilizing their product sales papers, as the savings added up very quickly. Great experience!

The woman making the sushi today was very kind and went above and beyond. I believe her name was Feng. She explained to me that the sushi on display was from the day before and if I gave her just 5 mins she would make whatever I asked for. Came back 10 minutes later and it was waiting there for me cold and fresh. She also gave me a couple of dumplings to sample that were DELICIOUS

Very impressed with the Pharmacy Staff at this store. They were extremely helpful on finding a Kroger Location that one of my prescriptions could be filled (they were out of the medication at their store). It is rare to find this quality of personnel.

Being in the service industry myself I have to give huge KUDOS to the cheese team at the W Gray location in River Oaks. Perry and his wife Celeste gave me a personal tasting in the cheese area, which they suggested after I mentioned, in passing, that I live cheese, but often don’t buy because of lack of knowledge on the item. I was treated like royalty and felt very special. They took the time to let me sample and learn about many cheeses. They extended hospitality and kindness. Unfortunately I live near a very small Kroger but work near this big one. The selections and diversity in this store is always surprising.

I had a curbside pick up tonight 9/15. I was serviced by David who was beyond personable and helpful as my card wouldn't read. He explained the situation and didn't seem to be in a rush even though I was the last order of the night. I appreciate the care and service he provided.

I want to give a shout out to the amazing pharmacy at this Kroger. My 89-year old father tested positive for Covid. His doctor called in an anti-viral but the pharmacy was about to close and I live 30 minutes away. The pharmacist graciously offered to bring the medicine to my quarantined father so he would have it that night. We so appreciate the great customer service at such a crucial time!

Best place to get your prescriptions filled. The pharmacy team is great and almost always have your prescription in stock unlike Walgreens and CVS who in recent years have limited their stock and almost always have to order your prescription just to get it filled. Send you txt updates when your Rx is ready, always answer the phone when you call. And in general, great customer service. The manager(s) are very attentive as are the technicians. If you need to get your prescriptions filled this is the place to go. Not to mention the shoppings great too 👍

I always find deals and management helps you out when in need, I always find what i need. The self checkout is convenient and never have problem with parking. Sometimes i get sushi which can be better but other than that i have few other selection on ready to go food. I am pleased on this kroger, been to other by my neighborhood and i cant say the same.

The cheese shop and wine selection at the River Oaks Kroger on W. Gray is worth going out of my way! The rest of the store is meh, just a Kroger grocery, but the specialty cheeses keep it in my shopping rotation. I can get party and hospitality gifts while doing "normal" shopping so it makes the extra drive worth it. 5 stars.

This is my go-to grocery store. It's never packed silly like the Alabama HEB, and is much cleaner and better stocked than the Montrose Kroger.

Not only is the River Oaks Kroger the closest to me out of the 3, I've yet to have a bad experience here and they've never been out of an item on my grocery list.

It's 24 hours, security patrolled, has friendly associates, and is always clean.

This store always seems to be very clean and well stocked . The staff is very friendly and always ready to go the extra mile for you if needed. Although the store is not as big as HEB, I think I prefer shopping here.It is easier to shop here and always has plenty of different varieties to choose from.

Johnny at the pharmacy might be the most amazing guy I’ve met all year. Thanks to him I’m going to start shopping at Kroger. He was even nice enough to stay 15 min extra just to help me. Thank you Johnny!!

This is the best Kroger in the area. I have many grocery stores to choose from and I have found the staff and shoppers here to be the friendliest and most welcoming compared to other Krogers nearby. It’s nice to get the gas points after shopping for groceries too. We appreciate you Kroger!
