I come here often since they always have my books in stock. Booksellers are helpful and friendly, props to them since it can get busy. Bookshelves are organized, aesthetically pleasing, and consistently being updated. Cafe is great for sipping drinks or having a quiet place to read or get some work done.

Cons: Restrooms could use updating (corporate). Cafe staff could be trained more since I've had inconsistent experiences.

Barnes and Noble

We have been looking for a special book and after calling around, located a signed copy at the local Barnes and Noble.

Years ago, I spent quite a bit of time at the local Barnes and Noble. My wife asked me if I wanted to take a drive and I thought, why not?

The customer service person had put a signed copy of a best seller on hold for me… and my wife wanted this book.  When we arrived I was taken by how large this Barnes and Noble actually is…I had forgotten just how big a bookstore can be… it looked like a museum. I’ll be the first to order on the Big A, but nothing beats the experience of exploring the local Barnes and Noble.

The representative behind the counter was friendly, professional, had a smile on her face, and very pleasant to deal with. She made sure to let us know that the purchase rewarded us with a buy one get one free cookie coupon with our receipt. What I’ve always loved about B&N is not just the books, but the chance to have coffee, a snack and review a book or magazine before purchasing. Each person was very personable and made several recommendations - try the toffee cookie with white chocolate and macadamia nut.

We arrived pretty late and knew we had a long drive home in the rain, so we didn’t stay but will be back when we have more time. I forgot how much we enjoy - and miss -the traditional, local bookstore.

What we missed so much, besides the wonderful and wide book selection, is the warmth you feel when you walk through the door. You’re made to feel like you belong there, and there’s so much to to see. There’s still a place you can go to grab a book or two, pull up a chair with a beverage, and always feel welcome.

Large store. Free large parking lot. Clean bathrooms. Coffeeshop inside. Huge variety of books. This B&N is located in a square with multiple other businesses.

Love this book store. I’m usually able to find items I’m looking for. If not available the staff are able to order and hold it for you.

Love to find a Barnes & Noble still open, & thriving. I love a book in my hand. I hope this place lasts until the end of time.

This is one of my all time favorite places to go for a whole day. I could just get lost in all the books and knowledge you can find in a Barnes and Noble book store and this one is by far the best. Got a premium membership and their little cafè is so very quant and so lovely. I could really spend the whole day at this place just reading and drinking coffee.

This location is nice sized with extremely helpful employees, such as Marilyn at the customer service desk. She was very helpful and super friendly. There is even a Music and Tech section, which is missing from a lot of the locations I've visited. Selection is excellent. Booksellers will order any item you need. Cafe is Starbucks, just like most other locations. Location is in a shopping center close to Plymouth Meeting Mall.

While it's not for everyone I've always loved coming here to get personal work done at the cafe. The stores book selection and many sections are huge and they have a pretty great Media/Music section as well as Toys for kids of all ages, figurines and collectibles, an expansive manga/comic area, and even a whole wing of the store dedicated to just the kids stuff.
