Giant Food

Giant!! One of the better grocery options in the area, that and Harris Teeter (you get what you pay for). Giant is always clean and orderly and offers many healthy options if that’s what you’re into. However I do have 2 complaints, there is no year round watermelon 🍉 and it would be fantastic if Giant offered year round whole watermelons. Put me down for 5-6 per week. The paper bags are beyond cheap, it would be nice to get a better paper bag supplier as some of us don’t carry re-usable bags with us at all times and I suppose I should since I grocery shop 3-4 times a week.

Anyway, all in all I give Giant 5 stars for being a fantastic supplier of delicious and affordable food as well as a clean and friendly store with a knowledgeable staff.

This is the only market me and my mom go to since I moved down here. They have great deals.

Store prices keep going up every week. Otherwise it's a clean store. The guys in the meat department I have to commend especially when there is a sale on steaks 😆. They are really nice when I ask for anything. I wish I remember the young man's name he is helpful anytime I am there.

It a big grocery experience. I had a good time looking at all the merchandise. The produce section was larger and everything was fresh. I wnjoyed the visit. The customer service desk personnel were happy, talkative and very helpful. I was escorted to the items i had inquired about without hesitation. WOW!

Pharmacy and Grocery, both are fabulous!
Frequent sale prices on meats, chicken, pork! Only negative is the paper bags rip too easily.

Typical grocery store . Need to watch as sometimes. Prices on shelves don't ring up at registars.

Convenient, clean, broad selection of fresh produce and baked goods, meat, seafood. An entire aisle devoted to vegetarian and gluten-free items. Starbucks on site. Helpful staff, as well as a pleasant self checkout experience. Although I have not used their app for online ordering, it allows you to create a shopping list, scan bar codes for price checking, and manage your loyalty card, which I find convenient.

Great seafood and deli selections, good veggies and fruit and I always pick up a pretty plant.

Produce depth outstanding. Friendly, efficient, helpful staff from cashiers to bakery to deli to dairy. Outstanding employees all around make it a pleasant experience.

Great supermarket. Always well stocked and well organized. Great customer service.

First time trying curbside grocery pickup. Very satisfying experience despite the substitutions. Got everything I ordered without the hassle of spending time doing the shopping. My picker was so pleasant! Even though it was quite a ride (about 40 min because I wanted something specific that my local store did not carry) it was well worth the trip.

Terrible, not enough cashiers. There were 6 to 8 people waiting to check out in each line. On Things have greatly improved. A pleasure to shop at this store

I work here and I can't tell you how friendly everything is! Very nice service even coming in as a customer I feel respected and am able to get shopping done efficiently

I have always shopped at Harris Teeter because it is closest but now I am a Giant shopper!! I love Giant! It's a great store, it's clean, friendly and HELPFUL employees. Great selection of what I need and the prices are great! I get what I need from Giant and save a lot of money compared to Harris Teeter. Giant is always stocked with what they have in the ad for the week. I will only come to Giant from now on. I get the help I need from employees and it is a much better experience. I wish I would have started shopping here earlier than I did. Excellent grocery store! Shop here instead of somewhere else! Top notch in terms of everything! I'm sorry to say that I'm done with Harris Teeter.
