Bottom Line up Front: This is about the efficient and accurate service a Cook named Savannah provided tonight.

The food is just as good as it always is. But, tonight (2/6/24), Savannah was the only employee in a restaurant packed with people. The only empty chairs were two bar seats and a booth in the back. The bar chairs filled quickly with folks waiting on to-go orders. Savannah efficiently waited tables and strategically cooked meals all while taking new orders. She did not mess up a single order. With impeccable customer service skills, she knew her audience and really worked the room. Bantering playfully with some guests, while getting right to the point with others. She kept the mood light, even though she was working furiously behind the counter. Without skipping a beat at checkout, she knew exactly what each table ordered from memory and knew the bill total before punching it into the cash register.

Waffle House is one of the most efficient restaurants in the country, and if you haven’t looked up the Waffle House Index, it’s fascinating. Tonight, Savannah proved that the employees of Waffle House are truly what makes this restaurant special.

My name is Shane and this Waffle House is Fannnntastic! The waffle is so smooth inside and crunchy just the way I like it! I would give you guys 7 stars but I can't. It's way better than the one where I live in Fredericksburg, VA. Their waffles are a little too soft. But the waffles compared to you guys, awesome! 👏🏽
The workers were nice. A little chat with them. It was a great breakfast on a rainy morning. 🧇😋

I ordered an western omelette. I have to say it was not only one of the best I've had from other places. It was also larger than others at a better price. Waitress was gifted with southern charm and service was fast. This site is one of the best in the chain.

Very easy to get to. Directly off the interstate and is controlled by a light in and out. Breakfast was cooked perfectly and the place was clean.

What can I say? Love Waffle House, and this location always delivers. Great staff and food came quickly and was the usual - delicious. Plus, pretty common to see someone I know inside. Great minds do think alike. Enjoy!

Just had a lovely time at the Waffle House in Colonial Heights. Dinner was by reservations only. We were greeted by sophisticatedly dressed hostesses which took us to the photo area then to our table which was beautifully decorated for privacy. We could eat by the Valentine's Day menu or the regular menu. As always the food was wonderful!! The atmosphere was fun and full of smiles. I LOVED this experience!!!

I wish I remembered my servers name, but she was a the best! Went there at 3 am and it was super busy but she gave us her all :) definitely will come back just to see her !

Food is on point, not to busy, and the woman that waited on me is a genuine sweetheart. This location is close to my work as I get back late a lot its nice to know I have somewhere to eat other than Wahh Wahh Waaaah. This location restored my appreciation for the WH. My only minor issue was that it is cold as a muhfuh. Im a hot natured person so i get hot much faster than most. Its like 20 degrees right now and they got the ac on up in that b. Please tell the ones you care about how much you love them . Don't walk around with hatred or resentment in your heart. One second there here, another they're gone. ✌🏼

The best Waffle house I have ever been to! The food was fantastic. It was the epitome of Southern cooking. The service was incredible. Food was there in less than 5 minutes and the Team worked amazing together. All different ages and backgrounds laughing and helping each other.

We stopped on our way back home to NC and are so glad we did! The staff was fun and upbeat. Excellent service and it made us out-of-towners feel like we were at home. Fast, friendly, and the food was great. Highly recommend stopping here for your breakfast cravings 🙂

Amanda, you are a great waitress. Everyone had great attitudes, and they were swamped.

Considering the the horrible experience we had at the WH in Chester a few days prior, this was placed was wonderful. This WH in Colonial Heights was phenomenal. Service was great, The food was good and the cook was so friendly. He stopped by to ask how our food was. You can't ask for better service than that. We will definitely drive the extra 20-25 minutes for the quality of food and service. These men and women deserve a raise for their hard work.

Nice little corner waffle house, only been here a handful of times on my walk home but everyone has always been friendly offering me a glass of water and the food always great at waffle House in my opinion atleast

Sometimes all I desire is fast , hot and friendly with a side of hot coffee.
That’s what Waffle House does better than most.

The cook needed to utilize the whole cooking area. The reasons for this is not so obvious to many people. My son has a condition that if he eats food that has been cross contaminated with meat from any mammals he will get sick. In this case he did. Please don't think that saving time and energy by not having to clean a grill during your shift by not using it is harmless. We are not ones to complain on site. We are regularly there. We love the food and the people there. Thanks

Although it was very hectic due to the amount of people coming in it was still a good place to come to. I had never been to a waffle house, my friends were very adamant about me trying it out and I am glad I came here for my first time. Will definitely be coming back.

Waitress Dianna definitely hands down best waitress in va so far. Give her a raise😊food was 9.5 definitely would eat there again family of 5 they offered a chair for the end of table for more comfort. We went to waffle house just prior close to base in Hopewell service was horrible this one was way better choice. Keep up the great work Dianna
