Sonny is fantastic and he is an expert for meat!! He kindly explained how to cook with air fryer with recommended temperatures and the result is really satisfying

Had my first visit to Sonny’s Meat Market today and was THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED! The establishment is SPOTLESS and extremely sanitary. Sonny helped me out and explained differences in meats. The customer service was excellent as well and service was given with a smile. Will definitely recommend to others.

Sonny’s is the best!! Sonny himself helped me pick out the perfect ribs and even gave me recommendations on how to season and cook them. I appreciate his personal touch and character and will be going back soon. [I’ll add that these ribs were Fall Off the Bone Good!!]

Absolutely love this place! Finally got a chance to make a visit and Sonny did not disappoint! Excellent customer service took the time to answer all our questions and show us all the diff meats he had! Even had recommendations on different meats to smoke as I love using my Traeger! Sonny pretty much has anything you need and if not he can definitely order it! This will be my go to place for all my grilling and bbq needs! Definitely get down and support this black owned business you will not be disappointed!!! Picked up some Beef ribs amongst other things.. the quality is A+

Nice store, worth the visit. Good selection of fresh meats. Butcher went out of his way to get me something. Meatballs were good (pork meatball pictured) - beef and pork. Got a pork shoulder and made some pulled pork. Stew beef was better quality that what you get a the supermarket. Prices were reasonable. Recommended.

I am so happy I finally got a chance to visit Sonny's Meat Market. The staff was friendly, attentive, and the prices were reasonable. I got a meat plan for $120. Afforded me 2lbs each of Chicken legs, Chicken wings, turkey wings, pork chops, pork ribs, oxtails, stew beef, and ground beef. I'm definitely returning. Chicken soup tonight! Enough 3 nights and lunch 🥰

Was in the mood for some chicken parm so my wife & I came across this establishment on google maps. It did not disappoint! Meats were delightful to the eye and establishment seemed very clean! We also had the pleasure of meeting Sonny and right away he knew we were new customers! He was very friendly & helpful and we hope his Market gets to stay open for a long time! Please go support!!! We ended up purchasing a variety of meats that all looked very fresh & pristine!!! My chicken parm meal was delicious thanks to Sonnys Meat Market!!! Looking forward to our next visit!!! I was looking for a new place to get my meat and chicken and I am so glad I found Sonny's! This butcher shop is IMMACULATE! Sonny's offers a variety of package plan deals that can have your kitchen stocked all month!
The owner is kind and personable. He is also a chef and was so generous to offer a sample of his turkey soup. It was DELISH!
I will definitely be coming back and am glad to have a new place for all my meat and chicken needs!!!!

Thanks for the rump roast guys! I told you I'd send photos! Meat was fresh and juicy. Super simple: salt pepper and garlic rubbed. Left in fridge for 2 days. Roasted @ 300F for 2 and a quarter hours, yet preheated the oven to 400 to get the browning started . Came out nice mid rare at the center and medium on the thinner side. Next will be the brisket! Stay tuned... Great Meat market!

This is an excellent place to buy meat every week. The store is clean, the selection is excellent, and Sonny is professional and friendly. The burger patties are the best, and I like the pre-prepared meats which Sonny preseasons, so I just need to put them in the oven or grill and family dinner is ready, such as lemon chicken. Sonny's also sells homemade soup made fresh daily, which is perfect if you need a quick and wholesome meal, and he gives samples of the soup if you want to try it first before buying. Not to mention, the prices are affordable and comparable to large grocery store prices.

This place is fantastic! Everything looks fresh, the entire establishment is very clean, the prices are better than reasonable, and Sonny is extremely helpful! I'm very thankful for a butcher that I can trust!

I am on my way to get me some much need oxtails. $$$$ Hmmm! It's been awhile since I've been here, because I'm coming all the way from Princeton. But honey, those oxtails are worth the long haul. I've been told I can find a meat store in Trenton cliser to me, but I'd rather go to Sonny's. Yes all the way in Edison. They are clean, their presentation is appealing, the employees are plesant and most of all they are clean.

My husband don't like OXTAILS??? But once I hook up these oxtails up with my stew beef, he gon eat my stew and some. WHO DONT LIKE OXTAILS???

For me the key is to let them cool and remove the excess fat. Heat them up again and make it do what it do.

I’m grilling the ribeye tip steak I just bought this morning. Absolutely quality meat! Nice and tender and with a little bit of BBQ and it’s hitting home runs. Their store is CLEAN and SPOTLESS. I can trust them when it comes to sanitary expectations. I’m definitely coming back to Sonny’s.

Wowwww!! My husband and I wanted to find a quality butcher shop close by and we found it! As soon as we stepped into the establishment this morning I knew it was the right place. The place is clean and impeccable. The package meats are reasonably priced and of high quality. We met the owner Sonny he was very friendly, kind and attentive. So glad we found this place! Definitely will be our meats shop from now on!!! If you’re in the area try it out you won’t be disappointed!
