Soccer Master - Overland Park

I worked with Michael to have a custom player name and number added to my jersey. They were replica letters for Portugal. First, it was difficult to get the letters ordered, but Michael stayed on it and even called multiple times with updates. After getting the letters in he helped us get them put on, then had the jersey shipped to us at no extra cost. The person that put the numbers on placed the jersey number in the wrong spot on the front, however. I called back and spoke with Michael about the issue. He was very friendly and professional. He worked with the store manager to come up with a solution. They ended up refunding us for the jersey. They re-ordered the numbers & letters and he kept me updated by phone throughout the process. On the day he was back in the store to coordinate having them put on, he sent me a text picture to ensure it was exactly what we wanted first. Jersey is again being shipped to my house at no extra cost.

Michael provided above and beyond service without a doubt! If I were the owner of this store, I would be very proud to have Michael on my team and would be trying to figure out a way to promote him! Thanks for all the help!

Today is my second time dealing with Michael at Soccer Master within two weeks and they were both great customer service experiences! First, was when I needed my daughter to try on uniforms for size & he helped me in getting the size we ordered changed. Second time, today, I called ahead to see if they still had the same pair of soccer cleats we bought for my daughter. We were in a hurry because we have to go out of town for a soccer tournament. I told him we were on the way and will be there in 9mins. Michael had the shoes comparable to what we wanted with the size we needed as soon as we got to the store. We were in and out of there within 10mins. Thank you Michael and the cashier that helped us out quickly! Thank you all for your help, great customer service and knowledge of the product!

I really like soccer master. Great apparel selection. Great customer service. My husband likes European soccer and I can easily find merch for him here. My kid plays soccer and it's easy to get cleats here.

What a relief what a great experience walked into Soccer Master with no hope after returning special orders, and going to other stores. Was greeted by Jess. She Educated me on shoes and was amazing with my daughter. This day and age when everybody wants to email or text great customer service person to person. Thank you once again, Jess, you were a great help.

The woman who helped us (I think her name was Jess) was so sweet and helpful. We stayed half an hour past close time because we couldn’t make a decision and she was not upset at all and continued to be so upbeat and understanding. She not only gave us multiple pairs of cleats in multiple sizes without complaint, she made suggestions on ones she thought would work for me. She was so kind and I definitely would go there again.

After hours of having my children try on cleats at other stores I was at my wits end. I know nothing about soccer cleats and my children had complaints about every shoe they tried on. At the other stores either no one offered to help us or the help available also knew nothing about soccer cleats. So I googled the closet specialty store and went there in a hail-Mary effort, expecting to be handed overpriced-everything and up sales. We found ourselves at Soccer Master - OPKS.
I'm pretty sure the people who work here are wizards who burned their Hogwarts letters in exchange for soccer-genius. The gentleman who helped us just looked at my kids' feet and instantly knew what to get them and what size! His expertise and experience was on full display. We did try a couple of pairs (not 30 like at the other stores). He taught my kids how to put their shoes on. He taught me the difference between the brands and the shoes and why or why not the shoes we were trying worked better or worse. He listened to my kids complaints and talked to them about what to expect with their shoes. He taught us how to break them in and what to expect. He was just so freaking knowledgeable and willing teach! My children and I had spent many miserable hours trying to figure it out on our own and this store was just sweet relief.
After trying on a couple of pairs I realized some of the shoes the store carries are pricy so I told him our budget and we stayed underneath it with the shoes he'd already chosen for my kids. God bless him, he wasn't bringing us the most expensive shoes in the store! Just shoes he thought would bring a positive experience to my children's soccer season.
We left under budget and confident our funds were well placed. I'm sure many soccer savvy parents know all of this but I'm not one of them so I'm very appreciative for the help. The service here is worth far more than I paid and I'm very grateful for that.

We had a great experience at Soccer Master in Overland Park. Michael was extremely knowledgeable and patient with our indecisive daughter. We will 100% come back for our soccer needs.

I took my 7 yo son in for a pair of soccer cleats and the young man, Reese, was more than patient with us. My son tried on different styles and sizes and went through probably a dozen pairs. Reese was very open and honest about what shoes were better than others, and it wasn't always the most expensive pair that was best. We normally buy our soccer gear from one of the bigger sports stores, but after this experience we will definitely be going back.

The boys that work here are friendly and while trying on cleats you can kick the ball around. Good job guys! I have loved this store since they moved from their metcalf location many years ago 😆!

We were in the KC area due to my daughters ODP friendlies this past weekend. We flew in from Colorado and I saw that the forecast had precipitation, and my daughter only packed one pair of cleats. We stopped in to the store and were immediately greeted and welcomed by Jess. She was a wealth of knowledge about all of the different styles of cleats in the store. The store carried several more cleats than the soccer stores in Colorado. From my experience and interaction with Jess and the store I will now order all of my children's cleats from this store. Keep up the great work and providing the soccer community with great service and products.

Over-the-top awesome customer service! We needed Futsal shoes for my 12 year-old daughter in a hurry. We found some cool white Nike Premier II Salas, but not in the right size. Jess placed an order for the right size on Saturday and hand delivered them Tuesday --- just in time for practice. Wow!

Jess is the best manager in the business and Joey and his crew are the best team sales people. They always take care of me, my high school team, etc. Plus they're local! They can order anything and it comes quickly. Check out soccer master!

I enjoy going to the store finding jerseys that I never found online. The staff is very nice as I have become friends with some of them. Only thing I would mention for a upgrade is to sell Nike Vapor jerseys and Adidas top quality jerseys that the players actually wear because all of their jerseys are authentic, but replicas, so it would be nice if they could do that, but once again love this store and would prefer to any soccer player like me to get equipment and neccessities for soccer.

Great place!!! Stop by every time I am in KC. Staff is very friendly and helpful. This last weekend had to go to KC for a couple league games, was helped by Regan (name on back of her uniform), and she was AWESOME!!!

The employees are extremely knowledgeable, polite, and outgoing. We got everything we needed for our 7 year old, my wife and I aren't experienced with soccer so we had a lot of questions that were all answered!

I don't know why I would ever go to another sporting goods store when looking for anything soccer. Just a bit further out of my way, but more than saves the trip time by having great customer service!

While we ultimately did not buy cleats for my daughter here I will always make this my 1st stop when shopping soccer needs. Amazing customer service
