Carmen is a great employee. Really enjoyed shopping here today. She showed me everything I wanted to see behind counter and was really nice about it. Some village discount outlets that I go to the employees act annoyed when I ask to see something. Thank you Carmen for making my day today..look forward to shopping here again. The women's blazer section has allowed me, a 25 year old man, to fulfill my dream of dressing up like a new jersey goomah. 5 stars.

I needed a deeper and medium sized non stick pan than what I had and this was perfect and in great condition looks barely used. I was excited to even find a top that fit it. I also bought socks because my kids keep borrowing mine and I end up without any 🧦.

I am actually no stranger when it comes to Village Discount Outlets, let alone this location. I thrift here regularly and actually consider it to be one of the better locations in Chicago. I also love it because it sits right down the street from my apartment, plus I know that I can always find the items I prefer such as fitness clothing, jeans, jackets, cardigans etc. I have purchased many quality items & brands here not only in the men's section, but women's as well which I recommend strolling through both sections if you are a fashion enthusiast like myself.

The layout at this location certainly does not differ from the others, which most will leave you digging through its clutter to find that particular clothing size fitting to you. A thing to love about Village Discount Outlet stores are that they are organized by gender and easy to navigate around outside of its clutter like appearance. As for its clutter, there are times when I feel so drained digging through items, but it all boils down to your desire to find that particular item you are looking for, if you know the quality of the items the store has.

Village Discount Outlet always has three colors of the day where you can receive half-off of your purchase. It can sometimes be a witch hunt trying to find an item you prefer tagged with the color of the day, but still a great concept.

At times, the lines here can get pretty long, but the stores motto is that if there are at least two shoppers ahead of you they will open up another register, so that things go smoothly. On that, I do recommend visiting with time to spare because it can get very congested at times.

Parking can be frustrating during certain times of the day on top of it being two tight space lots alone, so I recommend choosing wisely when you visit or else you'll end up parking further out from the store. And another thing, they will have your car towed if you park in the lot for anything other than visiting Village Discount Outlet, which pretty much applies to all other locations, too.

And on a last note, leaving here can be a pain depending on what time of the day you visit because Kedzie Ave, let alone Irving Park Rd are two of the highly driven on roads which will leave you waiting or altering your route just to get on track towards your destination.

This is a 2nd hand store. I like it because sometimes you find really nice things here. They are used items like clothes, shoes, games, dishes etc.

Always able to find what I need

I've been coming here on occasion for many years especially for work pants. They still have great prices because other thrift stores I've been to are a bit pricy. I just wish there was a dressing room since there are no refunds or exchanges. I've also noticed that the clothes at thrift stores last longer than new ones because they were made better back in the day.

I very much love this thrift store. They have stepped it up a whole lot since COVID and the place is cleaner, better organized, and more tightly run (which can be nerve-wracking on busy sale days near closing time! Lol). But this place has a TON of clothes, just give yourself plenty of time to shop!

This place is an experience… I was blown away by the sheer size of the place. They had really good prices! I spent $14 on 3 dresses and 2 tops.

Great place to hunt for treasures and deals. Huge clothing and shoe selection with rock bottom prices.

Great place to find great deals on good clothes. It takes a little searching, but that's part of the fun. They change inventory every week among at least 6 stores.

I'm a bit biased when it comes to thrift stores, but I love this place. Great prices and TONS of merchandise to explore.

Great bargains and name brands if you don't mind spending time searching through the racks.

Always a surprise..i only go with a purpose in mind..today to pick up a personal bible..a new one, learn the bible in 365 days..one day at a time, structured study..just what I wanted.

Nice items especially on 50% off everthing in the store sale days.Some items brand new with tags still on them for sale.

There's no other way for me to say this so I'll get it over with as quick as possible. This is my favorite Village Discount Outlet location and it has been for quite sometime now.

Village Discount has great discount clothing. A section for games, kitchenware, and a discount section with interesting things they want to move fast.
