Madewell

First time shopping in a physical Madewell store location. I love their jeans but was having difficulty ordering the correct size. Did some back/forth online, which was a great experience as well, but figured it was time to just visit a store while traveling to find something that fit well. John was amazing! Knew everything about the different types of jeans and how the various versions would fit me better than others. He also continuously brought me pairs to try until I found the perfect fit. He was super friendly and courteous the entire time. Employees like him make for a great shopping experience for someone who is often lost like I am. Thanks again for all of your help John!

Excellent customer service (hi Blaire and Victoria)! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Staff is warm, attentive, and helpful while providing space to freely browse without hovering. Also, they don’t make you feel pressured to buy and are also gracious if returns need to be made. It is the most welcoming atmosphere to shop a lot.

I just had the best shopping experience I’ve ever had at this store. Alyssa and Amy were so helpful and kind. Everyone working there was smiling and seemed genuinely happy to be there, which is so nice to have in a shopping experience. The store was super busy, and yet their system with the dressing rooms was easy and smooth. I had to return a couple things and exchange and use some old store credit I had - all of it went wonderfully. Thank you ladies for making my day!

I am new to the Madewell brand and I ordered three pairs of jeans, three of them shipped to my home, one to the store. Not sure why one was shipped to the store, in all fairness it may have been operator error! I did not like the two shipped to my home and when I received notification that the store one arrived, I was just going to call them and return over the phone because I did not feel like this is my brand.

I decided last minute to go in and I am so glad I did! The jeans I ordered were way too big and but I loved the style and color. Victoria assisted me when I asked if they had similar styles in the store and based on her recommendations I tried on another style. Loved them! Victoria took the time to help me with sizes and advised based on her knowledge of the brand! Ended up with two pairs and a hat!

The store associates were kind and helpful. Also– so sweet to my (small) dog that I brought with me! She loved the attention. It's a nice space on Santana Row with fitting rooms.

My fiance likes to shop here. I usually stand by the front while I wait for her. One time they had a sign that said 30% of all sweaters. But that excluded cashmere. We were shopping for her birthday so I had to get the sweater anyway. I wouldn't dock a star for this b/c the sweater was nice.

Mostly female clothes, my wife loves shopping here. I think they have quality items and not as much sales as my wife would like. Luckily they have a comfortable couch that I can rest and wait and staff is really polite and helpful.
Don’t forget to ask for Student and Faculty sales.

Awesome staff!I left a bag with a new dress in their fitting room by mistake, and didn’t come back to the store until an hour later——they found the bag and kept it in warehouse. They helped me quickly and efficiently. Nice and warm service! Thank you!

I absolutely love this location! The staff is so helpful and friendly. And the store is always in such a presentable state, including the sale section. I shop on the Madewell website a lot, but sometimes I wait for purchases just to experience their great client service.

Davi is amazing! 💚 she’s so friendly and fun to talk to. This was my first time at madewell, she made me feel comfortable and she helped me find the perfect jeans.

I think they just opened in Santana Row (in April 2013?).
They really have cute stuffs here: linen v-neck tee ($39.50 to $55), jeans shirts ($69.50 to $88), silk dresses ($150). Everything is gorgeous!

Madewell stores are such a fun place to shop. You can always find something, plus friendly staff and nice interior.
