Food Lion

I really like food Lion because they have great sale prices on meat items also, their produce has the freshest greens and vegetables. Like anywhere else you have to be aware of differences in pricing. They do have a rewards program that is worth getting signed up for. The employees are super friendly unlike some of the other grocery stores.

I love this neighborhood grocery store. The employees are so nice and very helpful. I really like that there’s no self checkout. The store is always staffed well and there’s rarely a line at checkout. They have everything I need.

This location is definitely the one to find good cuts of meat 🍖 Also very organized and let's get a shout out to the butchers and cooks! Good job to everyone there. Could use some new beers; I like a Stout with that huge ribeye, yall.

Food Lion in Christiansburg. Virginia definitely had a good selection of all sorts of different things that were on sale from soda to block cheese, bottled water coffee etc,and today they had a sale on Java monsters mean bean and loco moca $2.19 each.
That's pretty cheap for those types of drinks when they are usually $3 or $3.50 each. There were enough check out lanes open where there was not a long wait to get checked out. Most stores nowadays you go to. There are only self checkouts and most of those are card only or half them are closed and then you have no check out lanes open where an employee is actually running the register and checking you out. That was definitely not a problem at food Lion today which to me is a huge deal, especially when you're in a hurry.

We love this food lion! Everyone is always super kind and willing to help. They always have what we need here too. Big plus is they're clean too!

Always great deals on top of deals lol and the produce is a lot fresher than Kroger they can keep up with the food that may be out of date or going out soon better than Kroger and bigger stores like Walmart

My favorite Foodlion in the area! They always say hello and acknowledge you have walked in the store. Providing their not too busy. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh. I only like to buy my fresh green beans from here. Their not like rubber they actually still have a snap at this time of year! Prices are good. Definitely worth the few cents difference to not have to go into that other gigantic store!

Nice people. Good food selection. Their oranges do not spoil in 3 days like the ones I bought at kroger. I have had issues with little things at Food Lion and they cheerfully and caringly took care of. They over charged me once but made up for it. I was supposed to get an item free that I was accidently charged for. I love their meat selection they have really good prices.

At the start of covid, I decided to start shopping somewhere besides Walmart. (So tired of that place!) This is my absolute favorite grocery store, and the best Food Lion location. The employees are always friendly, and the shelves are always stocked well. During the weekdays, this location is not overly busy. Now that I know my way around the store, it is always a much more enjoyable shopping experience than those big box stores!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Easy to shop, and checkout is always an easy process. This store immediately brings employees to the front as they are needed to run checkout registers. Very clean and always a nice variety of fresh produce.

Really nice store, always clean and orderly. This store has a great selection of produce fresh fruits and vegetables. Very friendly staff and cashiers especially, Donna D. Store is always stocked well most of the time. Handicap parking and mobile grocery carts are always fully charged which is a plus for disabled shoppers. I like this store better than Kroger and Walmart because it isn't as crowded. No fighting for parking places and trying to get through the busy crowds. Prices are average for a major grocery store. You can always save a few dollars on the sale items. Go check it out and happy shopping.

Very clean and well stocked. Staff is following mask mandate. There's a great spices collection for a really good price I haven't seen at other stores.
