Amazon Fresh

My initial expectation was high about the Just Walk Out shopping. After trying it out, It was a bit disappointed. I didn't get a receipt until a few hours later. I wouldn't know what was being charged until I went home. That made me worry. Especially this is the first time I've used it.

Also, on the day of my visit (Saturday afternoon), there are many empty shelves in the store.

On the other hand, there are traditional casher checks out for those who don't feel comfortable with the Just Walk Out shopping.

The overall environment it good, the store is clean. It is better than many big name supermarket. However, it is not as good as Whole Foods Market. I also miss the welcoming experience where Trader Joe's provides.

Fantastic experience! Lot's of guidance through the process, store was spotless, items were well in stock and presented well.

Aside from all the innovative tech, the quality of all the products, especially the seafood and meat seem to be excellent!

I can't wait till more locations open throughout Long Island because I never want to go to a check out again!

We went there for the first time the other day and we were very pleased with our experience. The employees were all very helpful with explaining how it works. We did get charged for something I looked at on the hook but when I saw it on the receipt I was able to have it removed in app. Easy peasy. I will definitely shop there again.

First thing that comes to mind is clean and well organized. The shopping experience is enhanced with the addition of technology such as cameras and sensors that track your movements and what you put in your cart as well as contactless payment via the in store qr code on your Amazon app. Prices are a bit inflated compared to other places but some are reasonable. I like the addition of prime member only discounts but wish they could expand it to other items such as produce. Another plus is 5% cashback on your purchases if you have the Chase amazon prime credit card. Overall a decent shopping experience in which I might visit once in a while for certain deals. Hope they continue to enhance the shopping experience for members.

I always buy from Amazon fresh but on line and very happy with the happy belly products. When I noticed they have a store in Long island I had to go and im very happy i w3as able to go. Yall need to open a store with parking in Astoria PLEASE!!! yall will make money over there!!!. so prices a re great! the produce is amazingly fresher ( is that even possible?) than regular supermarkets! The way you check in and out is very cool very high tech!. only thing is i did bother looking at the circular and missed a $10.00 coupon when you purchase more than $50.00 with Prime membership!.

I used the walk out service, where you scan the code on your phone and they charge credit card. My receipt was correct, no overcharges. No waiting at the cashier. Fruits and veggies were fresh and without blemish. Most of the prices were reasonable but there were some things I rather buy at my neighbour grocery cus it's cheaper. Shelves were stocked with a wide variety of items but there were still one or two items we didn't find. Alexa couldn't find them either. Overall still a great experience, would shop again soon!

There are two bike racks here (one in the front, and one on the side). "Just walk out" shopping makes this the best option for quick grocery trips, especially if you already know the aisle layout and what you need.

The store design can feel a little bit like a warehouse, but you will never need to wait in line, and aisles are never crowded.

Very convenient especially with the walk in / walk out option. No need to wait in line! The selection rotates but the food quality is always good to excellent. Top notch fresh produce.

I love the store. I had a problem once with a receipt and they issued a credit right away. Heard that others had problems too, so now I go to the cashier. I set up this really cool thing where I pay with my palm. Love it!!!
The turkey gravy is possibly the best gravy I have ever tasted, bought four containers to make sure I have enough for the holidays

Decent Fruit and Vegetables area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Check out with the cashier to avoid any extra charges on your account. I do not scan a code when I walk in. I can scan with the cashier. My food was packed by the Cashier which was a great help. The freshly sliced cheese are the Deli counter was not good as it was all stuck together. They need to use the wax separators between the slices. I don’t think I’ll be going back to the Deli counter in the future. Many items out of stock especially in the Dairy and Bread area.

OTHERWISE; THEY HAVE MOSTLY EVERYTHING YOU NEED, AND YOU CAN RETURN ANYTHING YOU BOUGHT FROM AMAZON HERE!!!

Loved it! The amount of choices was lovely lovely such good products and so many. The stuff I love was there unlike any other store and I guess cuz they're so big they can buy in bulk they had TV dinners that we used to help us get over, at $2 or less. And they had some decent produce that I can mix with those TV dinners so they weren't too unhealthy and the produce was gorgeous the air-conditioned store was great I even had an older gentleman waiting for me up front for almost an hour and she enjoyed himself plenty of things to eat there that are cooked right away yes I believe a bakery pizzeria little Windows to satisfy any desire yep this is right up with the neighborhood Walmart on Hempstead turnpike near bethpage which is my favorite store

Really enjoyed my experience here. Learn to embrace change because Its odviously the future of grocery shopping. Nice meat, produce, seafood sections.

Very modernized store. Cameras everywhere. fresh items. It's like a regular grocery store but with cameras everywhere and scanning in and out with your phone. Fresh produce. I do wish I knew the total bill before exiting, but I will get an email soon with an itemized receipt.

After a terrible toll on this store has found its footing. Produce is amazing. Great selection of enzyme antibiotic free chicken reasonably priced. So many items are less than local stores. Rotisserie chicken $4.97, bananas 17 cents. My son takes hungry mans for lunch snd at $3.75 over a dollar less than Stop and Shop two dollars less than King Cullen. Last two weeks 20% off $50.00 order for prime members 10% off for others. The store is well stocked and walking out without waiting is a pleasure.

I really like this store, I really do. The only knocks are that somewhere along the supply chain, the veggies aren't being stored properly. I've seen bags of salad that aren't close to expiration that are turning and the other day, I bought a bunch of cilantro that didn't make the next morning even though it was placed in water as soon as I got home. The next knock is the fresh meat and fish. It looks as though the cases use cold air instead of ice, which makes everything look dried out and not fresh. Lastly, while they carry a lot, you won't find everything you might need, they have a lot, and as far as I can see, the prices are more than competitive.

Very clean and pleasant experience. Doesn't have everything but has most of the necessities. Prices are very reasonable.

When this store first opened I was doubtful about the concept (Just walk out shopping ) but it has become my favorite supermarket.The system works great and I have never been charged incorrectly after dozens of visits to the store.I generally find the prices of items to be good and if you know your prices you can find many good deals.There is a great selection of organic produce and dry goods at better prices than health food stores. The deli department has some great prepared food and the hot food bar is very good and fresh and the price for a box is fair. I love that I am in and out of the store quickly and never have to stand on a checkout line. There are checkout stations if you should choose to use them.They have plenty of workers in the store to assist with your shopping and once you are familiar with the store layout it all makes sense.

The prices are excellent. Very good compared to the local grocery stores. I'm a prime member and I order from Amazon almost everyday, but I have stopped doing returns now that I see 70% of items returned hit the landfill. Was happy to see the store and go in person because it used to be a minimum $25 to get free delivery but now they up to $150 which is ridiculous, so now I go in. Moving to a location that will not have one nearby. Sigh.
