Luis the owner, relatively inexperienced but is learning quickly on the fly. Tremendous personality and seems to be very hands on and handy so is always tinkering to improve the layout and ambiance of the store. There is a gradual upward trend in the quality and variety of the birds offered. Prices unmatched.

This is my go-to spot for fresh fish. You can’t beat the prices, or the service. This place has new owners now and ever since the take-over, the owners (married couple) have done outstanding. Fish are healthy and they have a good variety to choose from. They also have plenty of birds, if you like birds. I’ve seen turtles, snakes, hamsters I think, and I don’t know what else. Check out this small and cozy spot. Best pet store in all of Hialeah, that’s for sure.

Best pet shop around. Such a great, family oriented environment. My husband and I come here for all our needs for our birds, fish, and dogs. They have a great variety of animals at great prices. The owner is so helpful and very proactive and knowledgeable about his passion, animals.

Nice and clean place, both Luis and Jorge are very caring and knowledgeable. Bought my first yellow Ringneck baby from this store and I was given specific instructions of how to take care of the little guy. They also provided me with the food that needed to be given and a few free toys. Recently I bought a second Ringneck baby to have the couple. Couldn’t be more happier with both of my purchases. Highly recommend this place.

I never really shop at Hialeah due to every store owner being rude. But I happen to stop by only to be greeted by Luis I did not even know he was the store owner till I checked out and he threw in a little toy for my bird. El nuevo neighborhood is a very nice place to buy the healthy beautiful birds and fish ur looking for . lots of finches and parakeets which is what I was searching . not too many off this pet store around any more. Very friendly and helpful couple. Recommended to everyone.
