Giant Food

This Giant is one of the most popular stops on our condo shuttle's shopping run. The store is always clean, the staff is very helpful, and the prices are competitive, especially the weekly specials. There are tables to sit and have a cup of coffee or a meal. The best place I know for one stop shopping.

This store always has the necessary groceries that I am shopping for and the prices are reasonable. Only issue is there are no spaces to leave your shopping carts in the parking lot.

Beautiful store everything clean and fresh. My cashier Kasey was very helpful with loading my huge watermelon in the bag I brought in, I thought that was so nice of her. AlsoI was looking for the new Ben’s chilbowl’s Half Smokes and the man in the meat department stop what he was doing and walked me to where they were, but unfortunately they were out. But he said they get them daily so I will try again tomorrow. Thank you Giant!!!🤗

Great grocery store. Better than most than most in the area

This is a large Giant store with lots of options, and open early. Worth it if you need groceries.

My mom needed help in the hair products department and an employee named Taylor was very kind and patient with her. Even asked she needed anything else. Wish I had her patience when it comes to people.

The Giant store in Kingstown Center is a great place to do your grocery shopping. Everyone who works there is extremely nice and helpful. Also they often have great deals and discounts.

My favorite Giant. I know most of the cashiers and the entire Pharmacy Staff by name. The Pharmacy Staff are INCREDIBLE!Yes, even the names that are different. I engage with them ask about families. If a product is out of stock, and sometimes, those sales are crazy good, I ask for a rain check and get it when it's in stock. The store is always clean. The bathrooms too. The maintenance of the produce department is sup
erb. I have seen the same Black guy and White guy stocking and styling food for years. The reason you wanna buy it? They make it look pretty, besides it being good produce. I just wanted to give this store my kudos. I've been coming here since I moved to this area of VA, 6 years ago and the staff here work their bottoms off!

This was my first time shopping here but I felt the quality of this grocery store when I walked in . Clean and organized. Just as I was about to pay for my items, the smell of hot chicken wings pulled me back in y’all ! Check this place out

This huge, newly-renovated Giant boasts clean and well-lit aisles, incredible selection, and a wonderfully friendly staff. There are closer grocery stores to my house, but I come to this one every week. Shelby and the rest of the Giant grocery pickup team do a fantastic job shopping for me every week, making my visit to the store quick and easy. They always have a smile and a kind word as well. I am so grateful for them! Thanks y'all!

Most amazing florist. Was able to walk in and pick flowers and she was able to, very quickly, make the most beautiful flower arrangement for a funeral I was attending. The arrangement was jaw dropping. Thank you!

This Kingstown Giant Grocery store usually have about 90% of what the average family is looking for. This is a very large store, very clean and organized, the employees are friendly and helpful, on a daily average three or more lines are open to include self check out.

I just went to the Kingstowne Giant in Springfield with my daughters. I am handicapped, using two canes to walk short distances. My daughters looked for an electric cart for me, but there were none available, so I used the regular shopping cart to hang onto. While I was pushing the cart outside to go in, the gal at the flower shop, which is near the door, apparently saw me struggling a bit, and came outside. She looked around and mentioned that sometimes people leave carts in the parking lot. We didn't see any so we went in. Her name tag showed her name to be "Cheryl." After a few minutes of shopping, to our great surprise, Cheryl came up one of the aisles driving an electric cart for me. What an incredibly wonderful relief and surprise that was. She stopped the cart and I got on. I just wanted to thank you, Cheryl, for being such a wonderful, caring, and thoughtful person! God bless you! Bill

My daughter and I had great time at this store. We were looking for Turkey parts. ( Breast and Leg) for Thanksgiving. We found them, there was a very helpful Giant employee who helped us. we also needed some snacks and flavored tea bags. We were happy to see a Salvation Army person in front and made a donation. Very nice shopping experience. Feels like Christmas.

I love this Giant. The people are great- especially in the meat and produce departments. They really know what they are talking about. The bakery does a wonderful job, too, and is well stocked and accommodating (especially when it comes to extra value like getting the little plastic rings on cupcakes for birthdays).There are fancier grocery stores to shop at in the area, but I love Giant for the common sense layout and great variety of products and brands. It feels like a "normal grocery store" in the best sense of the phrase. The pharmacy manager is also excellent and the customer service there can't be beat!

I got my COVID-19 vaccine here and they did a great job at cleaning frequently between everyone and the pharmacist was very knowledgeable about the vaccine that she was giving me. She answered all of my questions. I definitely reccomend this place to anyone who is looking to get their vaccine!

Stopped by this Giant a few days ago to pickup some rice. There was an issue with the item, so returned it to get another one. They were out of stock, so at the resolution counter Jamie gave me the larger size rice at no charge and also a refund for the returned item. This is the proper way to do business and gain a wide customer base. First Class indeed this Giant Food is and Jamie as well for great customer service.
