I'm 61 and never been to this store! Was having foot issues and a friend took me a long here. So impressed w our salesman Micah. He was patient and willing, got some shoes built up in spots needed. So far so good! Definitely be back or order online!!

Not your average shoe store. Great service with knowledge on feet problems for days. Worth the drive from wherever you come from! Highly recommend. I showed up with pain in my feet but left with great comfort.

Some friends of mine from church recommended this place to me when I told them about the trouble we had finding shoes to fit our 2-year-old daughter. My wife and I took her up there, and the place did NOT disappoint! We got new snowboots and new church shoes for her, and my wife found some beautiful flats on clearance as an added bonus! We will be making more trips up here to shop for shoes as long as we live in northern Indiana!

They have a large selection of shoes. All different sizes. The clearance room has great prices.

I would give them ten stars if I could! I have driven by Pilcher's literally hundreds of times on my way to work, I've lived in the Barbee area for 15 years and I have just never stopped. The building is a CASTLE!!! Kind of an intimidating structure to walk into, but boy will you feel like a Royalty when you walk out. Get ready to be treated like a Queen or King because Pilcher's customer service is on the next level. I have always had problems with my feet. Like bring you to tears at the end of a night shift kind of feet. Following a few recommendations from friends and family, I decided to just do it! I was going to the Castle for shoes!
From the moment I walked up to the building I was treated as someone special. From the guy seemingly trimming bushes out front to Dawn and her nephew, everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Dawn spent a long time fitting my shoes just right for ME. I have never experienced such personal attention while shoe shopping. She NAILED it. I have never felt more comfortable in my shoes. When I first walked in my custom fitted shoes, I could have cried. Finally, a pair of shoes that feel like a part of my foot. I don't know that I've had that feeling before. The shoes may be on the higher price scale, but for one - you just walked into a Castle, two - these are Quality brands that you would pay twice the price for once they are custom fitted. My feet have never felt better.
If you haven't given Pilcher's a try, go treat yourself, your feet will thank you!

this is the best place to go for a pr of steel toes you dont want ta know are on ur feet! agreed there should be 10stars for this place hands down amazed at staff and the knowledge of how to fit you comfortably!!! will be going back in 30days to pick up another pr they put back for me that i liked too!!! who does that??? this is my new shoe store period.

Couldn't find my fit in other stores. Came to Pilchers and found what I needed in under 10 minutes

Went in there looking for shoes for the husband but was convinced to try on a pair as well. The shoes are like heaven, he takes the time to make sure the fit is perfect adding extra cushioning, more arch support, if your foot rolls when you walk he manages to correct that as well. My back sings his praises now

I took my wife to get shoes. She has been having trouble with planters feet really bad to the extent she could hardly walk. I talked to Bob Pilcher and he not only fitted her with shoes he was very personal and professional at everything . My wife has had these shoes for about a week and she's already improved in her walking!!!

LOVE this place! I have small feet and they always have great shoes that fit and last. Shoe prices range from discount to pricey, but well worth it for the quality.

They are so kind. They listen to your needs and take care of each of them. The cost for shoes is often the same as online. You might be able to find a better deal elsewhere but you won't get this type of awesome customer service. They were cheerful and I felt very good when I walked out with 3 pr of shoes for different uses!

Best shoe store in the mid-west! Very knowledgeable staff that care about proper fitting shoes. Service is excellent and very worth a 3 hour drive to visit when shoes are needed. Highly recommend!

While waiting for service at Newmar, we dropped by Pilchers Shoes in North Webster, Indiana. Wow - a vast selection of quality shoe brands. Most amazing is Bob Pilchers ability to talk to you about your shoe needs and find the shoe and size that's a perfect fit with comfort. We bought two pairs. If you are in or near North Webster, you should stop and check them out.

Mr. Pitcher and his family were top notch in getting me properly fitted for a pair of running shoes. I've had problems all my life with my feet to the point of reconstruction at age 12. Now in my 50's arthritis setting in and I can never find relief, not even from expensive custom orthotics from a podiatrist.
They all were very patient and kind and there was a good selection of running shoes to choose from.
I'm a happy lady! Thank you for everything and I will be a life long client from now on:)

Great customer service!!! Worth the trip from Fort Wayne. I felt like a horrible customer because the associate tried and tried and tried to find me safety shoes for for my large feet. He never quit and ended up finding me a pair! He had to put 9 tongue pads in, but they felt great!!!! I come home from work and my feet feel great! You cannot put a price on that!

Great experience! Service was super professional, wife and I both walked out with shoes. Dealt with Micah, very knowledgeable and pleasant conversation.
Also, pay by check/ cash, extra discount. Senior discount too if applicable. They do special sizes, there were some really big shoes on display.
