Staff are incredibly helpful and patient! So many sweets to choose from and other gifts available such as small stuffed Sasquatch. A wonderful adventure. And they boast the world's largest continuous chocolate fountain.

I've driven by here many times but never stopped until today. It's the holiday season, so they are stocked with many delicious treats. They also provide samples! Lots to choose from, and a 20-foot chocolate fountain to boot! Lots of parking is available.

We went for the huge ugly chocolate fountain, as mentioned in Atlas Obscura and stayed for the delicious chocolate and taffy.

LOVE IT HERE!!! their salted caramels are AMAZING!! Service is fantastic! Huckleberry truffle and marionberry truffle were DEVINE! love this family owned business!

Beautiful decorations and candy choices are amazing. Always take our guests here. All the candy is fresh and many SEASON choices.

I heard about the Candy Basket from a friend, that years ago, would stop here on their way to Mt Hood to ski. I stopped the other day and I was thrilled by the variety of choices. The service was fantastic. When I got home, I was very impressed with how thick the covering of chocolate was on the caramels. The flavor and freshness was fantastic. I will "need" to go back as there are many more wonders I have yet to sample.

Staff are friendly, attentive, and full of good recommendations.
There's a surprising little corner full of antiques and also some local specialties like jam.
The world's largest chocolate fountain lives here as well.

Delicious candy made by the best people!

This place is amazing! Fantastic chocolates, taffy, fudges and caramel corns! (My favorite is the chocolate covered potato chips)The shop is nicely decorated and a modern take on the classic chocolate store. Been coming here for years and am never disappointed with chocolates and customer service. Love the variety they carry and the fact that it's locally owned! Definitely one to add to the portlandia travels must go list!

Live out of town and visited the Candy Basket once before and have been wanting to take my husband ever since. Finally got to bring him just a couple of days ago and he thought it was just was cute as I did. Linda assisted us and made the experience even more pleasant. The candy is hand made and very reasonably priced. Just love this store.

We purchased about 20lbs of assorted chocolates for a fundraising event we were having - each chocolate was so delicious! The white chocolate Himalayan salted carmel was the crowd favorite for sure. I spoke with CJ over the phone, and he was so helpful in determining the quantity needed for the amount of people we had attending. We will definitely order from them again for our event! What a great place for chocolate. Its always fresh and many varieties to choose from. We get our chocolate here for fondues and for gifts. They even have chocolates on the counter to enjoy while shopping there. They make the salt water taffy that is sold on the coast as well as gift boxes.

Great assortment of goodies, all local and locally owned!!

The employees are always incredibly cheerful, the candies are amazing, and the place is pretty just to look at! Of course, when it starts with the largest chocolate fountain, you know it's going to be good. Love this place!
