BBQ Pit Stop

Had a really good experience with their staff. I even went back to pick up some rubs etc. before you buy or purchase at the big fox stores, stop here. They’re awesome. Needed to get a part - done. Price matched on my original purchase - done. I have the Traeger 780 and am impressed so far. Very happy with the store help and all that they have done even after the purchase to go the extra mile. Highly impressed and highly recommend!

I was helped by a manager named Clinton Kennedy and I cannot think of a more helpful and kind person to run a store. This place has numerous different products and samples for just about each one. Clinton was extremely knowledgeable about each product they had and encouraged taste testing. I see myself spending a lot of money at the store in the future.

These guys know their stuff and have seriously great pellets, rubs, and many other great products. The prices seem to be what I would find online or less anyways and I love to support my local peeps, especially those who offer as great of service as they guys. Highly recommend. I had a really nice experience there today and ended up with some rubs I'm pumped to try out.

Great place to stop for all your smoking and outdoor cooking needs. Great selection of seasonings and spices to make whatever I cook the hit of the meal, because food is what summer and life is all about.

Once again it fun to cook in the great outdoors. Got some more seasoning from BBQ Pitstop for Memorial Day and we smoked a pig. Thanks guys for the tips

My husband and I have been regulars at BBQ Pit Stop since we got our smoker last year. They have everything you need for grilling, smoking and bbq and the most knowledgeable staff I’ve ever come across. Every time we leave with a recipe as well as whatever we went in for! I love that they let you taste all the different spice rubs and explain the differences as well as which works best for which meat. It’s helped me as a novice meat smoker have great success.

Clinton Kennedy was fantastic. I didnt have a truck and he offered to pick it up and bring it to his shop. 5 stars for Clinton and BBQ Pit Stop, wich I could give 100!!!!!!!

I bought a Camp Chef smoker last year (similar to a Traeger) and have absolutely LOVED smoking meat since the first day! It’s so much fun to experiment with different cuts of meat and figure out which seasonings, marinades, sauces, pellets, and temperatures we like. To be honest, it’s almost unfair how good the end product is compared to the amount of effort it takes to cook it. Do you want to know one of my secrets? It’s a place called BBQ Pit Stop in Lehi (also in SLC and Layton). They seriously have every seasoning, sauce, marinade, pellet, and tool you could possibly need to win your BBQ game. All you have to do is tell them what you plan to cook, and they will recommend the type of wood and seasoning to use. They will even let you sample every one of their seasonings before you buy to ensure you get one you actually like! You should definitely check them out!

This place has everything for your BBQ needs, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and super friendly. Cade gave great customer service as he helped me navigate their amazing selection of rubs and sauces and gave me some great suggestions I’m looking forward to trying. They have samples of every dry rub they sell so you can taste before you buy. I’ve used a smoker for years, but I overheard another employee very patiently explain the pros and cons of each variety they sell to someone looking to get into it. Finally, on my way out the door to my car, every employee there made it a point to tell me thanks for my purchase and goodbye, including the guy coming back in from the parking lot from emptying trash. This is a great local business and I’m certainly coming back for more!

They have a ton of experience and are great to work with. They carry all kinds of options for every type of meat you'll be grilling. Strongly recommend you stop by and take a look.

Great store for all of my smoking needs! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They had a wide variety of seasoning selections and samples were out that you could smell each one. The bear paws were amazing and worked so well.

The guy at the store was so nice! He helped me find everything I needed and was easy to make conversation with. It was nice to know they care about more than just the sales, they care about their customers, too!
Neat little shop, and the best part is, they have my very favorite all natural seasoning, Heath’s Blends. They also have awesome bear claws for pulling pork!!

Clinton is the best. This store is amazing, and they are always willing to help and tell you their secrets. By far THEE BEST bbq store. I love coming here to hear what tips they have and they always recommend the best products.

These guys are awesome! So knowledgeable and helpful. I might lose my husband to this store but it's pretty cool. They have an entire wall of sauces and rubs. If you enjoy grilling this is definitely a place to come.

This place is incredible! Staff is awesome, professional and very knowledgeable. I worked with Andrew and he helped me make the decision between pizza ovens and I’m so happy with my purchase. Great prices and fun environment to sample seasonings before purchasing them. I will be a customer for life.

Great place to get your sauces, rubs, pellets and smoking secrets. I’ve been going for years the staff is great. The best equipment you can find for smoking and best equipment. You won’t get your meat off the grill without sneaking a few bites.

Dang! I can only give 5 stars? This is probably one of my favorite stores right now! The expertise that they have is amazing and I love talking with Clinton about BBQ competitions. He gives great advice about the different spice rubs and sauces. If you were to see my spice cupboard, you would see I can't walk out of the store without buying another rub or sauce to try out.

If you haven't gone to see them yet, make sure you make the trip. It will be worth it!

Had driven by this place a thousand times and always wanted to go see what it was all about. Finally stopped by and was not disappointed. They have the biggest selection of rubs, sauces, pellets, and smokers I have ever seen! The gentleman who helped us, Clinton, was outstanding. He took the time to ask us what we were looking for, and made excellent recommendations for new things for us to try. The prices were below what we had been buying our rubs on Amazon for.

The best part is they have a cooler with very high quality meats. Briskets and pork butts. We will absolutely be coming back! Thank you, BBQ Pitstop!

This place is awesome! The employees are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They recommended pecan pellets which were amazing. Prices are fair and products are fantastic.
