Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Feel safe late at night. Clean and well stocked. Ample parking in garage behind with up to 1.5 hours free with validation. Great selections, produce and deals. Oh, and did I mention the prices? You'll wish it was in your neighborhood!

Pop into this store here and there. Don't recommend their balloons as the online system and what you get aren't the same thing. Other than that the store is clean although everytime I go the entire parking garage smells like weed.

This location is the best Giant I've ever been to. The store is very nice and clean. It is a big space and good layout. It gives me the felling like shopping at Wholefood or even better. There are large varieties of brands to choose from. It is also a lot of sale and promotion. The staff is nice.

I was at the store four days ago. I saw the managers or maybe supervisors talking and beside them is a giant black tree, I guess from Halloween decoration. Anyway, it caught my attention and went ahead and ask them if they are trying to get rid of it. Cut the story short, they gave it to me for free! To add more, Mr. Stephan unscrewed the tree and put it in my cart nice and safe. I guess this is quite a nice gesture.
Also, people at the store seem to be so nice including the stackers. My first two visits went quick bec they helped me where to find things right away.
I would say it’s a great store to shop. Clean environment and fresh produce. I hope that they will add more organic stuff tho. Overall, it’s a great place to shop.

Giant food stores is an American supermarket chains predominantly located in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC. This place offers fresh vegetables, fruits, food and so many things. This place offers great prices and great deals. Shop is clean and employees are helpful

I can't shop because I'm recovering from ankle surgery. The team at Giant Cathedral Commons selected the freshest fruits and vegetables and went into the stock room to find Gatorade. My groceries even had a hand-written note! We used curbside pick-up through the pandemic, and it was always reliable. This is making my recovery so much easier. Thanks!!

Best Giant I've been to in DC. Great selection, including organic items. Pretty good service. Delivery service is spot on, too. I had to edit this to say that one particular employee is rude. During the first interaction with her, I offered to lift up my drinks so she could scan them and she snapped at me, with attitude. Another time, I was getting milk and she bad mouthed to another employee and said I was in her way. Today, she was stocking so I couldn't reach my product and I politely asked her for it. She went into a huff and was rude. I hope I can avoid her!

Felix from Giant Food at Wisconsin Avenue Georgetown, Washington, DC 20007 provided courtesy to all late night customers even when the store was about to close. Thank you for the attention to detail.

This is my Giant of choice, even though it is clear across the city from my home. The onions are what brought me here. They, and the rest of the produce are first rate. The staff at the Giant nearer to me are friendlier, but in the end, friendly staff does not outweigh onions that I have to toss three days after I buy them.

It is new and trendy. You can pick up wine and beer, as a well as drink it while you shop. Big store with lots of items. Also has self checkout. The building has EV chargers on the lower parking level but only a few are working.

Overall it is a classic modern Giant Food store.

I LOVED THIS GIANT!!!! Friendship Heights Giant was my go to. I really love the Jamaican lady Manager..if anybody knows what Giant she's at now I'd love to see her... The crew worked well together and I always found what I needed.... My son and I shopped here often.

Caitlin with the red hair in the self check out is wonderful. I bought 3 bottles of wine, two of which were on sale. They didn't ring up with the sale price- she ran over and got the correct amount and adjusted my total. And she did all this while helping other customers too. Thank you Caitlin!

I like that our Giant store has our bank in it. So helpful when our actual bank is closed due to covid.

As always the employees at the front door, the seafood department, the self check-out and throughout the store were very pleasant and helpful. I will be back. I just list my $5 off coupon because I didn't pay attention to my total. 😩

Great variety of products from fresh vegetables to those prepared and packaged ready to eat, I loved the prices and some products on sale, it also has an area to sit down to eat and drink a cold beer.

One goes grocery shopping once a week. One buys the same items every time. Perhaps they’re all in stock, but it’s unlikely they’ll all be there, even less likely from the same supplier.

Brand marketing makes us think we want the same thing every time, but do we really?

I would argue no. Why would we go on vacation otherwise? Is it really to post pictures to social media, as we might claim, or is it that we actually are seeking novelty? A novel spin on the familiar routine of walking, talking and looking around.

Giant Food defies the laws of late period capitalism and shows us that while we may have few options in terms of what we buy, while corporate America may have standardized what we see, hear and smell from sea to shining sea, and shows us that novelty can exist behind the guise of a brand name.

Fact: I have never seen exactly the same combination of people shopping at this Giant, even though I usually go on Tuesday evenings.

Fact: Sometimes the Anjou pears have a different texture than the ones I purchased weeks earlier.

Fact: Sometimes they have Runts in the candy aisle, sometimes they don’t.
