Had a great experience recently shopping for a new pair of shoes. Due to time factor, I kept ordering shoes online and realized of late feet would hurt. I got a feet assessment here and realized I was making the wrong choice by purchasing regular kind and I now needed a Wide D. Happy with my purchase and surely recommend, it's the experience and long time commitment with a good pair of sneakers that matters . They are knowledgeable and professional.

Most pleasant shopping experience ever! We had Shirley take care of my daughter who needed a pair of running shoes. Shirley had my daughter on a treadmill to observe her gait, looked at her arch and even had her running around the store to ensure fit and comfort. She was detailed and patient trying to find the best shoe for my daughter. Now I know why everyone raves about this place! We'll definitely be back!

This is a phenomenal running store! All of the staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the products that they sell and the craft of running and racing. They carry a wide range of shoes as well as clothing. They have all the equipment for doing scans of your foot and your stride to make sure that when you select a shoe it is the right one for your body, your form, your goals.

Outstanding experience! Thought midday on a rainy Saturday would be a disaster. Didn’t have to wait at all, was greeted right away and the salesman stayed with me throughout the process. Analyzed my feet, recommended shoes and was able to run on the treadmill to try them out. One of the best shopping experiences of my life as they were patient, kind and not pushy in any way. Definitely going back and this will be the only place I’ll buy sneakers. Oh and prices were very reasonable!

Recently I made the mistake of purchase a pair of sneakers online because of my busy schedule - big mistake. I went to the store found a great running sneaker, updated my insoles and am so happy. Sophie and the entire staff was a huge help and very knowledgeable. I've ran my entire life with a aggression stride and haven't been able to find running sneakers that gave me comfort. I was shown a style of shoe you can't find at the mall stores. They ordered a different color than what they had in stock for me also! Great spot and definitely recommend going here for your running needs.

We went into the store with an open mind, not sure what to expect since honestly, all running stores I’ve visited so far have been flat in customer service and knowledge. Next thing you know the staff member who helped us, was so knowledgeable so we decided to get a pair. Her help and knowledge couldn’t have been better to the point of turning our casual visit into a worthwhile visit.

I don't write reviews unless my experience was horrible or blows me away. I was seeking help with finding the proper sneakers for me as I have issues with my feet and have been misled in the past. Never really considered Ridgefield Running Co because I am never in Ridgefield. Well I called and spoke to Shirley who assured me that if I met with her she would find me the right sneakers, no pressure. I took the trip down and I am ever so thankful for the amazing service I received. Shirley was pleasant, patient (I am a pain in the a$$) and very knowledgeable about the products she was representing. She spent what ever time I needed to make sure that I was in the proper sneaker and happy. Nancy was also part of my decision making and was super as well. I just visited RRC to have my feet assessed using their nifty technology that creates a 3D map of your feet and a video of your gait. They then use this data to fit you into the perfect shoe and they also email you the full assessment for your viewing pleasure.

I worked with Tharni who knew just which sneakers to recommend based on the results of my foot assessment. She was very patient and made sure I was satisfied with my choice, not just the fit but also the look.

The combination of the foot assessment technology and the deep expertise of the staff make for a great customer experience.

Being in the service business As a field hockey coach and personal trainer of 15 years, this store blew me away!!! The staff is warm and welcoming and gave me the best experience as my shoes are the center of my everyday lifestyle. They are beyond knowledgeable and are truly experts in the field! I have been to all the shoes stores out there and I will travel 45 minutes to come here than the one 10 minutes from my house!!! I am so excited to support a small business that truly gives back and prides itself on the best service!!! I can’t wait to come back

My first visit to the store yesterday and what a great experience it was! I haven't run regularly for several years and am not in "runner shape" at all, but none of that mattered and, thanks to Cat, I came out of the store with a lovely pair of Hokas that fit like a glove, a bundle of socks, and the feeling that I'd been welcomed back to the sport with open arms. This is a super store with great people and I'm delighted to have found it. Thank you!

Had an excellent experience with Ridgefield Running Company. I am definitely not a runner, but do a lot of walking. I'd been having an issue with my foot and per my doctor needed a well made, supportive shoe to help with healing. I found RRC online and I couldn't be happier. Megan was amazing - extremely knowledgeable, patient and not all pushy. Her recommendation was spot on and I was able to do a five mile hike the next day with no issues. The personalized attention you receive is invaluable! Highly recommend.

I’m not a runner, not even close! After ankle surgery I was still having a lot of pain so I went in on a whim. Shirley took incredible care of getting me in right sneakers and it was a game changer. Changed my life. The pain was gone and I could walk without agitating my incision. Three years later I fell and fractured both feet and the CEP compression ankle braces have made such a difference in two days. Thank you!!

We ordered a pair of shoes for our daughter and unfortunately they were delayed due to an issue with the manufacturer. Megan and her team bent over backwards to find a replacement shoe that our daughter could start wearing right away. In the end, I was very impressed with the level of service we received and how hard Megan works to make sure her customers are happy and keep coming back. I went in today to get a new pair of shoes as I recently started running in some that were not right and have developed some foot pain. Nancy was incredibly patient and helpful with me. I learned a lot about how to avoid injury and what is good for me. Very personal approach. I am glad I did not order something online as I had initially planned. I highly recommend coming here for help to find shoes to start running before you develop pain. The place felt safe in regard to covid as well.
