Smaller hardware store, but it has everything you'll need for most jobs. Definitely faster than shopping at larger home improvement stores and the people working are often more helpful.

Great customer service. They will help you when you are trying to fix a problem, offering a solution and making sure you have the needed parts. Your stress will be real reduced when you walk out. This place should be everyone's first choice over Walmart and the big box stores.

I work at a preschool up the road from True Value. I am not one with repairs, tools and maintenance, but my new job title requires such things from me. Due to the proximity to our school, I decided to pop in to True Value one day when we needed some extra bolts. It was hands down the friendliest experience I have ever had at an hardware store and all I needed was bolts! They were so nice that when I needed a specific tool to repair some playground equipment, I went back. The gentleman who helped me was so knowledgeable and patient. He walked me through the different tools and how to use them. I could not be more grateful. It was by no means a big sale, but he treated me as though it was. Our little school will definitely be using them anytime we need bits and pieces to repair items at the school.

Needed pellet stove gel and this was the only local business that had any. Lowes sells the stoves and pellets but only has the gel available on special order.

This is a great alternative than going to an enormous Home Depot like store. You park 20 ft away from the entrance and will always be greeted. It's easy to get help in the store. Although some of the legacy, older helpers have retired, the new batch of folks are just as eager to help. Nice to buy any kind of screw nail or fastener by quantity or pound in rotatable dens. Prices may be four or five percent higher on some items than say Home Depot. But I save tons of time and gas by using this local hardware store.

This is an awesome locally owned and operated establishment that I would suggest every time! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They offer great suggestions on "how to" questions. There is always a great selection of items to choose from, including interesting plants. The Winter Wonderland they co-hosted in December 2022 placed Christmas trees, food, and presents in the homes of local families in need. Thanks for being a part of our community, Rio Rancho True Value!

This True Value is the place to go. Always friendly people to help you with anything you need, yet if you know what you want they leave ya alone.

Staff is always so happy to help with any questions and guide you to the right section. Started my gardening a little late so this isn't usually as applicable but I get 26 seed packets for 4 dollars as they're currently 75% off and still have quite a bit of flowers and vegetables (can always stock up!).

Love this store they have what I need !!!! And the people know what their doing with great service!!!

I am not a hardware store person lol - but I always feel welcomed in this store because everyone is helpful and friendly and willing to spend time to help with any purchase.
This store is a model for customer service and now I seek it out whenever I need something even tho it may be further away I know I will leave with the correct item.

I retired from the military in 2000. Rio Rancho True Value was the first business I visited, were I was treated as a valued new customer, by both George's! Everyone needs a good local hardware to help with questions, this is the place. You will not get this kind of service in the big box places. Family owned and operated, where you will always feel like part of the family. Buy local! A+++!!!

I like this family run store, and the service is second to none . I find the employees to be very knowledgeable whenever I have a question to ask . I've always been able to find whatever I need there for repairs around the house.

It's a small locally owned real hardware store, that probably has any hardware your looking for. They always have plenty of knowledgeable staff on hand to help you find anything your looking for. Prices are usually better than the nearby Super Walmart, which has none of this, and likely won't have your hardware, or you won't be able to find it if they do. It's by far the best hardware store around.

Amazing!!!! I choose to go here over any other store because of the people and how kind and patient they are. My most recent visit was to get screws for my new license plate, I had no idea what size I needed. So a very wonderful man went back and forth to my vehicle in chilly weather to test different ones to see which would be best. after he find the perfect ones he went above and beyond and put my license plate on for me. which was very helpful and very appreciated. this store is top notch and they make me feel like family. im not the most handy person and still learning my way around a hardwordstore but they are very patient and kind never make me feel dumb and I am comfortable asking the silly questions.also a great sence of humor (a laugh brightens everyone's day) .love this store and highly recommend to everyone

I always depend on this store if I need to ask questions. The employees all seem to know the answers. Such a friendly group too.
