I’ve been giving them business for years. The pharmacy staff used to be so nice. Now they are rude. They would not give me my med one day early despite the thousands of $&& worth of business.
The floor staff is great , especially Lovey and Weldon

I am trying to reach this pharmacy about a time sensitive prescription for a family member and (so far) have been waiting on hold for over 33 minutes (and I called the minute they first opened). I started with "three callers ahead" of me and there have been "two callers ahead" of me for over 25 minutes. It can't possibly be true unless they're sitting on the phone for 10 to 15 (or more) minutes per caller! I am not surprised they have only two stars and would take your business elsewhere.

UPDATE: They finally answered after 55 minutes and said they "just opened because the pharmacist had an 'issue'" meaning the "3 callers ahead of you" automated message was a lie. Their phone system is obviously set up to say there are callers ahead of you when, in fact, they didn't open on time. I was told this prescription would take another 1.5 hours (even though it's needed ASAP) unless my kid wants to go in (while very sick) and wait onsite for 15 to 20 minutes. Given how long it took them to answer the phone, I don't trust that option so we will wait for the alert that it's ready and hope the 1.5 hour promise is not another fib. My guess is that it will be ready the minute the pharmacist's daily lunch break starts. (Should they get a lunch break when they opened 45 minutes late, and when Sundays are already a short day?) Just saying.

These reviews made me laugh. I can also confirm the pharmacy is awful. They do not answer the phone and have no idea what they are doing. They cannot answer the most basic of questions correctly. They would sooner just make something up or give customers an attitude before finding an answer. Their regional manager clearly does not care about these reviews though because there are dozens saying the same thing.

This place is just the biggest chaos and disaster I have ever seen in my life! My husband been going to this pharmacy for years now.. Lately he had been treated terrible. Each time there is some issue with his refills. They are late with medications and mix dates up. My husband dared o mention it to them ( he had a problem refilling one of his medications once again) and has been told by a technician " well why don't you just go and refill it somewhere else?" Even his doctor called them, that was also ignored.
This used to be a good pharmacy but now I would warn anyone who wants to come here.

I was on the phone for 25 minutes, 36 versions of the prerecorded message telling me that [they were] sorry but were helping other callers, to be told that my prescription wasn't filled. When I called the doctor's office, I was told that they couldn't reach the pharmacy. There are many other pharmacies and other Walgreens; I will not use this one.

The pharmacist, Kevin, that worked the night of 11/21/2022 has a serious attitude problem. Additionally, according to my physician, he is misinformed about whether or not a coupon for mounjaro is valid. The new law states that anyone who has used a coupon for mounjaro before the end of Oct. 2022 for weight loss can continue to use the coupon. For those who try to use the coupon for the first time after the date the new laws went into affect, it will not be accepted unless the person using it has diabetes 2. So this Kevin pharmacist cost me $1000 bc he was too stubborn to listen when I tried explaining this to him. Proceeded to roll his eyes when I said that I would pay the cash amount for the shot. I had a card on file that was expired and he tried to deny me refilling the prescription by saying that. When I gave him a new card he rolled his eyes at me. If I see this pharmacist again I will turn away and not go back when he’s working. This pharmacist is horrible with customers and should be kept Far away from the customer counters. He also needs to educate himself on the coupon laws. And not be so judgmental against people who are overweight, is that is the vibe that I got from him.

Terrible customer service. Currently on hold for 20+ minutes after having spoken to someone twice this morning. I am being ignored because somehow they believe I do not know my own birthday. "Check that it is correct on your insurance" they say and I do. Guess what? It's correct. How rude and incompetient do you have to be to continue ignoring someone who needs antibitoics because you don't know how to fix an incorrect birthdate on an account? May I add I have had the same insurance and have used Walgreens for years. Unrelated but last week they sent my monthly regular perscription to a location I have NEVER been to with no warning and when I showed up to this location they were very unhelpful. We should all find a local pharmacy that actually cares because walgreens and their employees clearly do NOT.

Consistently disappointing. Staff is seldom polite. You'd think that these ratings would make a difference but obviously no one from Walgreens reads them because there has not been any changes

Truly one of the most lackadaisical and inefficient pharmacies I've ever encountered in NOLA, which is saying a lot. Never again.

Worst walgreens in history! Avoid this place if you can. Staff is a joke. Their pharmacy is completely unorganized and everyone has an attitude and were cursing around customers. Will never return.

Never answer the phone in pharmacy

Terrible service. Pharmacy needs help. A disaster waiting to happen

This pharmacy staff seems incompetent. They had a prescription for 5 days and never contacted me to let me know they were out of the medication. When I went to pick it up and was finally told, in person, I asked if it could be transferred to another Walgreens where it was in stock. The cashier told me I could call around to different Walgreens to find out it was in stock then ask to have the prescription transferred. Is this Walgreens policy?
