if you want to buy high quality meat, this is where you go. Friendly people, nice place, and fresh high quality meat. If you are lucky you will find some artisan bread that is so much better than store bought ones.

I generally go there for middle eastern food and spices, and bulgur. They also keep various types of Turkish items, specially bulgur. Several varieties of bulgar - coarse, fine, ultra fine grained (which I have rarely seen anywhere else in Bay area).
Spices for pulao, pilaf etc. Frozen kababs. The shopkeeper was also very helpful.

This market is amazing! Especially the meat, I usually brought some lamb ribs and baby goat, very fresh! And I’m so appreciate everyone here is very friendly.

It's a Middle Eastern grocery store with meat shop inside. Staff are always good to deal with. The meat is fresh and good quality, specially goat and lamb meat. They have special Arabic, turkish, and middle eastern grocery goods that can't be found in regular department stores. I can't judge the prices yet because I have to compare them with similar places. Good to visit and see for yourself.

This place is a lot bigger inside than it looks, very neat, clean, and spacious. They have those really delicious black olives, and tons of other neat stuff. Highly recommended.

I love their frozen baklava selection! So much variety than the normal ones usually found in Bay Area. They have the rolled green pistachio, double pistachio, chocolate, fig-shaped walnut baklava, shobiyet, kataifi, and many more. They have various sujuk (Turkish sausage) and simit (Turkey bagel) in the frozen section.
The place is cleaner and bigger than their prev location. Owner is also very nice and friendly

If you have not tried halal meats before, you are really missing out. This is the best lamb and goat in the area. With halal meats, the animal is drained of blood when killed (throat is slit). This keeps the meats much fresher and tender. They are also free range animals and antibiotic free. They do not advertise this, as it is part of what it means to sell 'halal.' Halal means the animals have to be bred and slaughtered strictly in this way.
I was raised on this type of meats, and I just can't stomach the lamb in the normal grocer sitting in the blood. Baraka is the best, service is also excellent!

I eat at this place very often as I love their beef kabob and the juicy grilled chicken! Their service is amazing, friendly, and helpful. They catered to my aunt's wedding and the food was very good. They also have a variety of Turkish & Middle Eastern groceries.
They definitely deserve five stars!

Fresh meat.. the place is clean and no pungent smell of meat. You can see variety of spices and tea on shelf.
We had our meat cut and washed. The shopkeeper was friendly.

Phenomenal service, well-kempt , tidy and clean store that serves probably the best quality of Halal meat in the area. Extremely friendly folks running the business and they definitely have a lot of respect for their customers. Way to go!!!

Excellent quality meat and a good grocery selection. I wish they had more produce but other than that this is a really good place to get fresh quality meat. The owner is super nice !

I've been buying my fresh meat at Baraka for the past eight years and their meat's always been fresh, clean, and tasty. The store is extra clean all the time and the service is very good.

Always went to this place for clean and fresh chicken. The owners are very friendly. One time this gentleman also cut and cleaned up the chicken for me after being half way through their machine cleaning at night, before closing.

Great place, I like to do my meat shopping at this place because it is really clean. the place doesn't small bad and the guys there are organize and clean. Hope the place stays like that.

Baraka Halal has splendid spices,meats,ingredients, and sweets. I LOVE their kabob and shawarma! I hope to be going there again soon! :)
