Kroger

I decided to write this review when I read a rotten review from yesterday by a J Hamblin. In particular, he wrote badly about an employee there whom I've had nothing but excellent experience with. Alex is an autistic (I think) fella and only tries to be kind and welcoming. He has never once missed saying hello when I come to his line. I can't imagine Alex ever being rude to someone on purpose. I think it is wonderful the way Kroger's supports people with special needs. I've had a great experience with others, too... the cashiers, the service desk people, the pharmacy, baggers. The employees are so helpful at this store. SIDE NOTE: I did notice that 8 out of 10 reviews written by Mr. Hamblin were a 1 star. I wonder if maybe the problem isn't really with Krogers.

Best place to get sushi in town. Cheap, fresh, good quality sushi. Now I am very happy that I can get sushi here at this Kroger.

Scott is always so helpful and kind! I love walking in every day and seeing his smiling face- I hope everyone gets the pleasure of meeting Scott on their way in to Kroger!

The store was very clean, well-stocked and the prices are fair. The store was very busy this morning and they were short staffed (typical nowadays), but the employees go out of their way to try and help in any way they can. Our cashier, Liz, was very friendly and helpful even during a hectic time and our bagger, Mary, was just exceptional! Her cheery manner and genuine warmth made our day!

Always great. I avoid shopping here on weekends as they seem to be extremely busy then.

Despite food prices continuing to climb, Imlay City Kroger still manages to be far cheaper than anything in Lapeer, including the Lapeer Kroger!

The produce here is excellent, and uses local farmers at every turn. The deli could be better (but I've never been to a good Kroger deli), but the meat dept is good (if a little sparse in their offerings).

The store rarely runs out of product, and if you aren't foolish enough to go on a Sunday afternoon, doesn't usually feel too cramped with people. If gas was cheaper, it'd be worth it more often to make the drive to Imlay City instead of relying on local Lapeer grocery.

Well stocked store. The produce section is exemplary. Rarely have to wait to get checked out.

We visit the store and was very busy. We went to the Pharmacy and was busy but the ladies were the best. Keep up the great work.

I went inside and quickly found what I was looking for because the store is well organized. While I was there I found some great sale items that I needed for the holidays. Check out was quick and easy. The cashier was glib and friendly. Two Baggers actively bagging my groceries. All in all a very pleasant shopping experience.

Although this is about an hour from my home, I make a point to stop in while traveling. Great produce. Clean store. Nice selection of "natural" foods. Friendly staff.

Update 2019. They've done a reset to store and I'm very disappointed. No more "natural" food section so all gluten free and no nitrate foods, etc. mixed throughout store. Not only makes them harder to find, but seems like selection of these products is not as wide.

Both pharmacy and regular checkout were, as usual in the Imlay City store, we're very prompt and helpful in the checking out process. My sister in law lives in another town and likes to shop in the Imlay city store when ever possible. The store is always clean, produce is always good and displayed nicely.

Nice grocery store, closer to home than Meijer and Walmart. It's smaller and lacks some things that a big store like those would have but otherwise is great to grab basic groceries from. Usually not very busy and you can get in and out quickly.

I like the Inlay City Kroger better than other Kroger stores I have shopped at. The store is always clean and neat. I have noticed there is quite the turnover in the Pharmacy Dept though. Most people in that Dept are nice and helpful. However I have talked to some rude people on the phone. It has been awhile but it does happen occasionally. Today the girl who bagged my groceries didn't have a clue how to do that. Maybe the baggers who are new could have some extra training before they work bagging groceries. I had to keep rearranging the bags in the cart. Over all I like the store a lot.

Been going here off & on the past 3 or 4 years. Always find what I'm looking for. Store is clean & well lighted. Staff is knowledgeable as to where items are. Staff helpful. I frequent the area in my RV often, haven't been disappointed in the service.

I really like shopping at Imlay City Kroger. The cashiers are always friendly and nice. Workers stocking the shelves are helpful and efficient. Really if they weren't I wouldn't shop here but I rather get my grocerys here than anywhere else.

Sharon in the pharmacy is awesome! So helpful and understanding 😊 She got on my son's prescriptions right away because she knew he wasn't feeling well. Thank you, Sharon!

I forgot my iPhone in Kroger main bathroom today 3:00pm, when I look for it already was 5:30 pm! Dili Gerri helped me to the back to the freezer to look for it! Can not fund it anymore! I was so sad because my all photos all information...in the phone.I driving to home to asked my husband came back store to look for it. The app show up my phone still in Kroger area.we run in the store, Gerri called me : Nina your phone at here! Tiffany fund it in bathroom then give to Customer service!That’s moment I was almost cry.
Tiffany is a Dili employee, beautiful ,sunshine smiling all the time ,voices always sweet and kind,! I asked her how can found my phone. She just answered:I found it in bathroom then give to store, I always honest!yes you are! I love you
I really really appreciate Tiffany , I can not think about if I lost my phone how trouble will waiting for me! Also say thanks to Gerri, thanks for you help me.
