Mush Love in the Mountains

Christy the owner is an absolute gem of a human. We are here once a year to go ice fishing and Mush Love is always open, warm and super friendly. Last year they were lucky enough to have an art area that kept my girlfriends and I busy for at least an hour. If you have a moment stop by and if you are lucky enought to chat with Christy you can learn a lot about the benefits of using mushrooms in your daily life, and grab a little something fun in the store in your way out. She also is a cultivator of some of these delicious guys... such as lions mane!! Give the store a chance it's a mountain hidden gem!!!

I could not say enough great things about this store or the lovely lady who runs it all. This was my favorite store in Grand Lake - I didn't want to leave, there was just so much to explore and the vibe was as expected:) .. The owner was very friendly and helpful, while still letting us browse and do our own thing.

They have cool mushroom pens that write really well, fun shirts, tea-making supplies, learning resources, 2nd-hand books, and lots of local artist-made stickers, magnets, etc. - I found so many cool gifts and I can't wait to come back and maybe do some painting in the crafts room that they have set-up 😀

I got to meet the owner, Kristy. She was so kind and engaging. Even gave me a free sample! We had a great conversation about all the health enhancing things holistic practices can bring into your life. She's helping to support the community in various ways and is definitely a local business worth sharing some love with!
There's a great selection of products, from crazy art to homemade teas. They even have a whole side room for activities, like painting events and a chess club for kids and adults alike!

Wonderful store! The owner, Christy, is a walking Functional Mushroom encyclopedia & loves to share her knowledge & the latest scientific health advantages of the different species. She is a kind & fun loving person who supports local artists & also helps artists around the world so the store is not only filled with mushrooms for health & other practical uses it also has the love & imagination of creatives making it an "OH WOW!" experience every time you turn around. There is no other place like Grand Lake & MushLove in the Mountains fits in perfectly with the extraordinary community vibe!

What a wonderful gem of a store. The owner, Christi is a light in this world spreading kindness and knowledge through every interaction. The store is filled with trinkets, oddities, and herbal medicine. Anyone who finds themselves in the charming town of Grand Lake must stop in.

Going to make visiting this shop an annual tradition!! My friend and I love mushrooms so we were thrilled to find this shop. We adored the painting mushrooms area in the back and the giant mushroom tower! I only wish there was more variety in the tshirts because I’ve been on the hunt for a good mushroom tee and didn’t find one I liked there.

An absolute gem of a place!!! Wandered in with our bachelorette party and had the best time. I think we spent over an hour in here. We were greeted by super friendly cats and store staff, and discovered little wooden mushroom painting and free coloring pages. Definitely a highlight of our visit and something different to do that we wouldn’t have thought of! Oh and yes they do sell mushrooms and mushroom supplements. And all things cute and mushroom related. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in town looking for something out of the norm to do!

This store is my dream store! So much cool stuff and the lady is so friendly. Would highly recommend to anybody, they even have a craft area for kids
