Khalij Halal Market

This is a beautiful market with specialty products from Afghanistan. We got the 20 pound box of dried mulberries as well as fresh flatbread. My wife filled up her entire shopping cart because she was so happy to get the coveted desirable products at the most economical value price we highly recommend this establishment without any reservations, and then will return back to it often to stock up.

Khalij Super Market on Kent Des Moines Road is like a special place for amazing Afghan groceries. It's super cool! The people who work there are really nice, and the store is always clean and tidy.

Absolutely amazing, approved by Dehli boy and Bangalore children alike. Jokes aside, they had an absolutely flawless selection of items and he even let us sample a cookie :)

The owner is just so wonderful, sweetest guy! The food is delicious and he really cares about his merchandising and how he is sourcing, basically farm to table when available. Not just for people seeking halal but also the best high-quality specialty foods, tea ,and pickled vegetables. My favorite is the Bulgarian feta you just can't find these quality specialty foods in world market whole foods or Safeway or any of the grocery stores for that matter. And it's probably the number one halal market in all of the Seattle area. Don't forget to get yourself some saffron!

Being unfamiliar with this type of market, stopped in to check it out and pick up some treats to try.

Very well organised and clean. Spices, cookware, snacks, everything you’d need to stock your kitchen and even some pretty scarves were available for great price. Staff was friendly and answered my questions about the products.

Purchased some tea, coffee, and cookies to try among other things and I know if I ever try to make some recipes from this part of the world there is a great local place to pick up the ingredients. We have a large community of people in the area who I’m sure make great use of this shop- glad for that!

This is a fantastic shop we’ve been to a few times and they have an excellent selection of spices, dry goods, local breads and some fresh produce. The staff are extremely kind and helpful and I look forward to being a regular patron!

I enjoyed visiting Khalij Market. They have all varieties of Asian food,drinks and other household items. The cool thing is that they are very different than other asian market and I am sure you will love it.
