This place is great for anyone who's into purchasing physical.media. Especially vinyl.records.

Really awesome store just to look around. Lots of cool stuff to see. Always a solid selection of vinyl across all genre. Prices are as expected based on everywhere else I've been. Service has always been friendly. I stop in at least once whenever I'm in the neighborhood.

I had a great time in here with my young daughter as we perused through albums I haven't seen in decades! They are very organized and have an extensive collection of all types of music from different eras, including current artists. I am definitely going back soon!

After googling vinyl record stores on long island this place popped up. The reviews were all excellent, so my wife and I h had piped in the car and made the short 20 minute drive from Queens to check it out. We ended up purchasing two great LPs's. Blind Faith, with the original banned nudes pic on the album cover, and Captain Fantastic and The Brown Dirt Cowboy. Both in mint condition. This store has a huge selection of both new and used albums, with the used albums quality rated. They also carry cd's. The selection is so vast and covers so many music categories, that it was difficult to make choices. We could have stayed there all day. The prices are extremely fair and competitive and the staff is friendly. I will definitely return, and I highly recommend Vinyl Bay!

Talk about hidden gems, if you're into vinyl (and related analog music media) then you'll probably love this off-the-beaten-track record store nestled in the industrial park just behind the Plainview Holiday Inn.

The parking is a little funky but once you step inside, the cool atmosphere and great selection makes you feel like a kid in a candy store.

Unlike most stores that biy and sell used records, every album is professionally cleaned and graded so you know exactly what you're buying. The knowledgeable staff is eager to help.

Beyond records, they also buy and sell music memorabilia and even casette and 8 track tapes (remember those?). Plus, they're open late so have fun. Will definitely be back soon.

Awesome place with a very unique look! The employees are awesome, they allowed me to take some photos of my friend for my portfolio! It's difficult because I want to tell other people about the place but I don't anyone else to taking pics it's like my secret little gem!

This is an amazing shop to go to. I go here for all my rap and lip hop needs. They have a large selection of most genres and also have vinyl and cassettes. They have some of the cheapest prices I have seen on new and used cds including artists like The Notorious B.I.G, N.W.A, A Tribe Called Quest and many, many more. I would recommend this shop to anyone that needs good and cheap cds, vinyl, and cassettes.

A wonderful hidden gem of a record store. Slightly pricey, but the interior is lovely, and everything is sorted to an almost rediculous extent. I'll be sure to come here every Record Store Day!

I hesitated to come here as previous reviews said how expensive this place was. I decided to stop by anyway just to see. The prices are a bit higher than most record shops but the quality of the records is fantastic. They have everything labelled and organised extremely well. You can tell things have been taken care of and I was able to find a ton of stuff I was looking for. If you want a cheap deal or like a scavenger hunt then this is prob not your place. I really appreciate the care taken and the ability to find tons of great stuff. They have a ridiculous amount of stuff so I would love to go back and check out more when I can.

Edit: I came back while visiting the area again and was so happy to do so. They have so much stuff that I’m looking for and it’s still very clean and organized. I wish I could get everything. I def left with another good chunk of stuff. This is def 1 of my top spots for vinyl and cassettes but they have an incredible variety of items.

The store is LOADED. I contacted them to see if they could hold a record for me and they were really cool with it. When I entered the store I was shocked. It's literally stocked from floor to ceiling, it's really well organised and I there's some gems waiting for you in the bins! Most def gonna visit whenever I get to LI again.

Wow! My first time visiting today and it succeeded expectations. I had trouble not buying everything they have. Literally has everything you can ask for in vinyls. Great selection, friendly staff and helpful. Huge choice selection from hip hop, reggae, oldies, rock everything 5 stars

This place is amazing. Huge selection and very well organized. All the records are pre graded so you know exactly what you are getting. The staff is knowledge without being pretentious. In my opinion there isn’t a better record store in Nassau county.

Went to pick up some used vinyl. Had never been to this location. As a first time visitor, I was very impressed by the stock and choices of used records and all of the available artists to choose from. I will definitely return in the near future for more purchases.

Really good prices. Staff helpful but not overbearing. I don't really like the way music is organized (ex. Beatles & Pink Floyd were each in two separate locations...4 total) The particular person with whom I dealt didn't seem too knowledgeable BUT that may just be because we didn't speak very much. I would go back in a heart beat as prices are very good and media condition is accurately rated. Disc I'm listening to right now (Dixie Dregs-Dreggs of the Earth) rated M- I have yet to hear as mush as a tick or pop straight out of the cover!

Visted Vinyl Bay 777 this weekend. Incredible store with a huge selection. Frank the owner of the store, allowed us to come in and use his space out of the kindness of his heart. He runs the store so well and knows his records well. Annie the manager keeps everything running smoothly and has such great customer service skills.

Going here is an experience you will buy more than you expect because this place nails it, no matter what you are into. They have all of the important albums from every genre and most countries on premesis. And if you want it and they don't have it, they have heard of it and can get if for you. Great place to kill a few of your precious hours of relaxation every week. Go, you will love it.
