Society of St Vincent de Paul Thrift Store

This has been by far my favorite thrift shop! They ask very reasonable prices and run awesome sales on certain days where items become half off, $1 and even 50cents at times. Some items can have a high ticket price but when you compare prices of the particular item new it's a bargain! I honestly was surprised to see people complaining about high prices as I've never seen that here. Maybe it's under new management and stuff but I assure you the staff and prices in 2023 is wonderful! The staff by far are the best, go out of their way to help and truly make your experience fun! Far better than the big chain shops and goes to a good cause! Thank you to everyone at this lovely shop for always restoring my faith in humanity.

This is a nice thrift store in a great location. Everything was clean and orderly. The variety of items was amazing. The prices were very reasonable.

I haves shopped here 3 times now. The first thing I wanted to say about this thrift store is that the staff does an amazing job organizing everything for sale in a visually pleasing way. The prices vary, ranging from awesome to meh (okay); that usually indicates that different people are doing the pricing with widely different ideas on what something used is worth. So, you have to check everything to find something in your price range. I did find some very awesome deals and passed on ones that were not as awesome. The shop carries coats, shoes, handbags, belts, women's, men's and kids clothes, jewelry, furniture, lighting, dishware and cookware, small kitchen appliances, books, videos, holiday decor, interior decor, and more. There is free off street parking but the spaces are tight and awkward if you are driving anything larger than a compact car, so be careful. Staff is available to help you get bulky or heavy purchases out to the car. Everyone was very busy but, if you were able to get their attention, they were friendly and helpful. Payments are accepted using cash or major credit cards. There are specials every week. I did not see public restrooms, so be sure your bladder is gladder before stopping in. Those who require use of a wheelchair or a walker will be able to get in the front part of the store, but will find navigating the back room and some off shoot rooms to be very challenging. Masks do not seem to be required at this time, as no staff and few customers were wearing them, and protective shields at check out and cleaning of counters between customers was not happening, so keep this in mind if your immune system is compromised and take your own protective safeguards while in the store.

Quite impressed. Planning to spend a lot of time here.

Lots of great deals and very friendly staff

This is always a fun thrift store to go to. Always good treasures to be found . I found these cute bowls for 50 cents each. I bought all 8 for my cats food.

Such a pleasure to shop there. everyone so kind and the items are inexpensive. A great feeling knowing you're helping others with your purchases.

I was looking for a chair for my daughter & found one but it was stuffed in a group so I couldn't really check it out. A nice gentleman moved some things for me & helped me look it over. Then he asked me if I tried it & moved it away from the others so I could. It was sale day & the price was right, so thanks to that kind gentleman & another lady, it is in my car. I'm totally happy & hope my daughter will be too, when I deliver it. :)

Great cause, prices, and customer service! I really appreciated the help. It was my first time at this shop - I noticed there seemed to be a lot of return customers, interacting with the employees like friends (a great sign, as it means they take time to get to know their customers and genuinely care about what they're doing). I liked this shop a lot and will be returning.

Recently I accidently posted a negative review to this St. Vincent De Paul Location. I want to apologize as I meant to post it to the Spring Hill location. This location is excellent and I am sorry if I caused you any distress.

Little over priced. They had a purse I wanted and a buy one get one free, so I chose a dollar tree shopping bag thing for the free one , something I could buy brand new for 1.00 and they could not allow that and wanted 5.00 for the bag. So I just paid full price for the purse and an old humidor and left. I rated 5 stars because the money goes to a good cause but you need to be aware you are not likely going to get a bargain there.

Very helpful, friendly staff. They asked me if I was looking for something and made suggestions. Good variety of items. Clean and organized. Prices seem reasonable.

I love the store and the wonderful people who work there. They have helped Alot of people who were/are down and out financially. I know since I was there my self about 12 years ago. They guided me in all the right directions. I was SO Thankful, and always Will be. Kathleen Dennison Cox.

Great Place Nice employees . Very Helpfull. I am a reseller and depend totally on finding Bones with a little meat left . And they have changing sales that allows one to make a living.

The women can come off a little Stern initially. During a rough patch in my life the church sent me up there to receive three outfits. And I didn't have the greatest experience. Having the church provide you with free clothing during a bad year I think is awkward for both parties. You have to swallow your pride and your guard is up which makes for a bad customer experience. But since getting my life back together I've become a regular customer. And I've learned to love the place, and the staff. If you are patient and take advantage of their daily discounts you can get some insane deals. Since getting to know the ladies I found that my initial impression was incorrect.

Great bargains, as we are on a budget and try to save and not spend too much, it is a great place to shop.Everything from clothes to furniture.

Always have a great experience here. The women are so wonderful. The place always seem busy, and I always seem to get a couple bucks knocked off if you sweet talk them😀
