I came in to look for indoor palm plants and was pleasantly surprised to find a few different varieties to choose from (tropical, Pygmy date, cat, bamboo, and Areca). They were all healthy looking and I was able to find a cat palm to fit my low light room needs. The staff is always helpful and the store well stocked.

This location is always clean and shelving and stand pretty much organized and with enough stock of materials.

Mina at order pickups was super helpful, polite and friendly! She went above and beyond to solve issues with my online order. I don’t remember when somebody was so caring and truly wishing to help. And she did help me! Fantastic service! And by the way, I think this is the best Home Depot I’ve ever been! Most of of the stuff are polite and helpful, the store is very clean and very well organized. Even though there is one in Santa Ana on McArthur street just 2 streets down from my shop, I always drive here. It seems this store has a great manager too, cause I don’t think it would be possible without her/him. Thank you! Please keep it this way! 🙏🏻

Mgr 'Martin' doing a great job overseeing well trained staff with excellent customer service including very helpful 'Eric', electrical dept, who courteously introduced himself, offered to assist in identifying & locating items, stayed into his break time to find & present options for us & made sure we were accommodated, then invited us back for his helpful assistance in the future; couldn't ask for a better customer service experience ... that's the ideal approach to feel welcome & that our business matters to Home Depot. Love this Home Depot! The garden department is my favorite of course, and it's always so full of everything you want and things you don't even know you want until you see them. It's refreshing, very uplifting and inspiring! Like, adding a touch of new color makes everything seem better & this is Thee place to get that started. Very Reasonable prices & everything to get you started or to keep adding to your yard. If you can't tell? Made my whole day brighter after 40 minutes of taking it all in & coming home with some glorious color!🐞🌻🌺🌼🌸🌹

Since they moved things around, I have to relearn the store, but they still have almost everything I want and need. I could live in their garden center!

Our experience was excellent at this Home Depot location, as we were able to find everything we were looking for.

It was very busy but also very clean and organized. Also despite being busy the cashier at the garden exit was very friendly and helpful and helped me find an item I was looking for. 5 stars all around 👍🏼😊

Picked up some MDF. Ezekiel carefully measured and cut 4 pieces to use as shelves in a custom closet. Thanks for taking the time and care to get the pieces just the right shape!

The only reason I'm giving this Review 5 stars and not 1 is because of one their Employee named Melissa. This Review should have been done in April, but a recent bad visit at Santa Ana Home Depot reminded me to do it.
Went to this Home Depot in mid April to get some pieces of wood cut for a project my brother in Law was doing. We get there and start going through our options, and we actually get asked if we need help right away. We explained our situation that we would need some sheets of wood cut. We get instructed to go to the cutting area and that they would be there to help personally. We got our sheets of wood quickly and went straight back following the gentlemen. Once we get by the cutting station they seemed scared as we approached to get help cutting the wood. They quickly found something else to do, and avoided trying to help and left us there for about 10 mins. We were getting tired of waiting so went out looking for help ran into a worker (forgot his name) that was just getting off work but still helped by calling Melissa over to us. He informed me that she usually cuts the wood as some men there don't know how to handle the machine or are just scared to cut wood. Was also told she doesn't get enough recognition in the department for bein a woman even tho she pretty much runs it by herself, and we saw that to be true as we had seen her helping someone else as we came in near the front of the store.
Melissa was a professional and quick to follow our instructions as we were making adjustments to our cuts as we went along. We had 2 separate confusing cuts and she ended up fixing our problem to our cuts to make sure it was perfect for our project and that we would save enough wood to be useful for other projects.
The Santa Ana Home Depot ended up not helping us until almost 30 mins after we requested help. When they did help they messed up our sheets as we wanted our cuts in a different angle and it seemed the worker just wanted to finish and didn't care that it was bad and left as soon as we told him we would be back with another piece, to our surprise another 15min + for another worker to help.
Compared to the Santa Ana Home Depot, this Costa Mesa Home Depot was way better ONLY because of Melissa. In a job where men usually get the recognition for being stronger.. Melissa blew me away with her great customer service, enthusiasm, knowledge and Confidence. I usually don't write essays for reviews but she deserves the recognition and I really hated my recent Santa Ana Experience, they need a Melissa over there 😅

Darlene in appliances was a pleasure to work with. Friendly, happy and knowledgeable will definitely come back to her. Hard to find people like her.

Super friendly staff and best customer service! I came to check my order as its status was processing still. I arrived at 7:50 pm and had no idea the store was about to close in 10 minutes. They asked if I could come back in the morning because the item was on the overhead shelf or something and it would take at least 15 minutes to get it down. I told them if possible could I get it tonight and they said yes. Although it was late and everyone was exhausted working all day long, they all seemed happy and smiling. Thank you so much!
