Isle of Games

Very nice layout, a ton of games and accessories to scratch any gamers itch. Well organized, large selection to choose from; If you cannot find your board game, good chance you did not look hard enough. Their customer service is attentive to your needs. Prices are about common..Plenty of parking btw. Update 4/2023: Found 2 more dragons 🐉 I can't live without. Staff always the best and sooooo much to select from.

Awesome shop with amazing selection of board games and great staff.

Not the biggest selection of MTG stuff but they carry the most recent sets as well as some decks.

So many reasons to love this place. Activities in an environment where everyone wears a mask. Really nice staff. Amazing variety of products. They have a huge library of games to try!

The atmosphere is totally nerdy in the best way possible, the staff is super knowledgeable, and even give great suggestions that actually work perfectly with what you are planning and when playing DnD they add to the flavor, and the owner is an epic dude

Stopped in here on a whim and found 2 games I have been looking for. Owner was super knowledgeable and friendly. They have a fantastic selection of new and used games and can help you bring in games that they don't have. There is room to play games as well.

I have been coming to this game store for years for tournaments and purchases alike! They are always incredibly friendly and helpful. My experience is mainly with Magic the Gathering, but I will always come here first for any kind of casual and competitive tournaments.

It honestly surprised me how many people don't know about this place such an amazing place and people from warhammer to any board game you can think of the staff is amazing especially izzy he is fun awesome and just a very nice guy with cool hair. Definitely recommend giving them ago. Oh and yes they have tables to play on

My favorite game store in Tucson. Generally a good vibe and a wide selection of games and hobby products. Staff seem content to just let you browse, but whenever I've had questions - from paints to the history of RPGs - they've been helpful and knowledgeable.

It a fun place to find games of your favorite movie or series plus there are figurines and jigsaw puzzles and you just can browse away lots of time... great place to get presents for loved ones!

The books and games for sale here are amazing. There is such a wide variety available. It's also really cool that they have a back room full of demo games that you can play and see what you might like. We found an amazing game and now I have to go back and buy it!

****Visited this store again three years later (2022)and the staff is just as friendly and amazing! We had a little situation with one of our games and they were GREAT about working out a solution with us that was better for my niece and my nephews. Love this store and employees! Couldn’t ask for a better board game store!

Stopped at Isle of Games while visiting family in Green Valley. I’m live in the UK and i am not aware of any brick and mortar board games store that has such a variety of games back home in the uk when compared to Isle of Games.

Huge selection that ranges games workshop and other minis, through war games, Cthulhu/lovecraftian (Mansions of Madness is my favourite game ever), RPG and everything between. I loved the fact the table in front of the checkout was dedicated to kickstarter exclusive releases!!

I had to visit twice and still didn’t manage to browse everything and decide on my purchase.Very friendly and knowledgable staff, that clearly have a passion for the industry.

Highly recommend this store to all lovers of board and mini games.

This store has by far the largest selection of boardgames that I've seen in Tucson. No matter what type of game your looking for (family games, party games, RPGs, euro games, etc), they'll have a great option for you. The selection might be a little overwhelming for beginners, but the staff is happy to help you find a great new game. They also have a solid selection of used games, which typically includes a few rare or out-of-print options at reasonable prices. The selection and the fantastic rewards program keeps me coming back to this store any time I'm in the mood to try a new game.

I like Isle of Games more than Tucson Games and Gadgets here's why:

1. Excellent online resources that were easy to find.
2. Maybe the best selection of Dice and minifigures.
3. More emphasis on "Old school" games.

Great staff who is very knowledgeable about many of their products and can give recommendations to anyone who comes in on new games to try. They also had a game I could not find anywhere else in the US anymore, so maybe check with this location before running to eBay!

I like this store it's in my opinion one of the more inviting stores in town if that makes any sense. There are other spots in town that can make newcomers to card games feel not so welcome. I realize it's probably not always a great time to teach people that have never played a card game such as MTG the rules and how to play and all that. However, I did just try to start up MTG for the first time really and I feel this store is more welcoming than some and not just the staff but the customers as well. One of the things I really like about this place is their employees don't go around talking trash about other establishments and to me that is a big win. I feel like no store should be talking badly about another store whether they are competing for business or not. The only thing I wish this store had more of is a bigger selection of organizational things for cards and more Poke'mon stuff. I have been to a couple other spots in town and this store has some pretty good prices as well. Better by 10-30 dollars on some of their booster boxes for certain games. There collectables are pricey but those are pricey anywhere you go due to rarity. They have some really cool dice I want in the near future when I have a little more cash as well. I feel that a lot of the supply issues will get better so I will just keep supporting this store where I can. Due to COVID-19 things everywhere have been hard to get so I understand that. They do still have some good stuff though just maybe not as much of a selection that I would like to see.
