Hickory Grocery Store

My favorite one stop shop now has Hunt Brothers Pizza. The owners and staff are awesome.

Great people family owned business had a deli with hot food mon thru Sat. A wide grocery assortment. Gas, diesel, kerosene, and propane. Also has skill games machines. And plenty of table space to sit down and relax both indoors and outdoors.

Jackie never disappoints me when I come in there she knows just what I want.

What a great secret to the community! All theadies who work here are as sweet and kind as they can be. I forgot their names. Because Google waited so long to approve my addition! But I will return here and get more info (phone number, store hours etc.)

The store was nice and clean, and the prices were reasonable on all the items. My drink was very cold, and chips were fresh.

The young lady who worked behind the food counter knows her was around a kitchen (I think it was Ms. Paige). I had a BLT sandwich (which by now y'all know are my favorite) right there in the store. I like my bacon a little crispy, so I heated it up in the microwave on the counter, it was all downhill from there. Fresh lettuce, a couple thick pieces of tomato, some salt and pepper, and a dash of mayo, it was over for that sandwich.

I paid for my items w/ a smile (I think this lady was Ms. Lisa,).

I grabbed some gas, that was well priced before I headed back to Ft. Lee, and wished the ladies well. I noticed Archers Towing & Automotive connected to the building on the other side as well.

All in all, I can't wait to return, definitely a nice drive out to it, and a place to purposely get away to, even if it's only for an hour or two.
