Excellent grocery store! This is where I shop for groceries. Excellent produce section and they have really great seafood and meat department. Also their pharmacy is excellent and very friendly

Overall the store is well kept. I usually only go here for flowers but it is convenient when I need an item and don't want to drive far. I don't shop here regularly because it's easy expensive but when I need a quick item it's fine. Flowers are usually decent and last. They are a little over priced too, for the set ups in bases but the bouquets are usually decently priced.

I absolutely LOVE my local Safeway.. Diego is always present, visible and willing to help. Team members like Joyce, Tabitha, Sammy, Aiden, Dawn are always customers forward and greet me with a smile. It should be known that all of the self checkout team members are top-notch and I am certain I am missing names but I love them all and they have all always been top-notch!!! i absolutely love this Safeway!!!MY local Safeway 🥰🥰🥰

Nice grocery store. It's a Jewel in other Eastern states, and the quantity/quality varies by the store. This Fountain, CO store has excellent employees. I love the butcher. He is a warm, friendly, and knowledgeable fellow. Old school, like me. Great and broad selection, with the terrific Signature Select house brand.

This has been "our site" for more than 12 years. We know most of the staff by name. They know us by name. They ask where the kids are and how they are if they aren't with me. They know my kids' names. The store is always clean and well stocked. Management is very involved in the store and does an amazing job at keeping it running and in great shape. We recently moved, and this store is no longer "down the road," but we still find ourselves here more often than not. It's also where we will keep our meds/ pharmacy. I trust the pharmacy team. They know me/us and do a great job! I love this store!

One of the best Safeways in southern Colorado. Awesome service and the sushi department crew is totally awesome they have the best selection period!! Even poke bowls and everyone is helpful and smiling!! I love it when it's like that especially in this day and she!!

I love this place. I would tell people more than anything that it is SO WORTH IT to be a member, have the app, and go through the weekly ads and coupons each week. Also around here there are a lot of military families and once a month they do a 10% off your total basket. I just got a family pack of fantastic angus NY strip for less than 6$/lb. My total went from 253$ down to 140$. Plus each 100$ spent gets you a reward which you can use for 10 cents off each gallon of gas. I save them up and then fill up our truck. Cheaper than on base for sure. I will say there are a few things like chicken breast that are still cheaper at the commissary on a normal day.

This is my store. They are awesome here. Everyone is so nice and always smiling.

I called the meat department of six Safeway locations concerning steaks posted in the weekly ad and was told they had sold out. When I called the Mesa Ridge location, Matt, the butcher was polite and up beat when he answered the phone. He was very knowledgeable about the cut of meats and what he had available. When I got to the store everything was just as he stated. He was restocking the meat department and took the time to help me select the value-pack of steaks! Thanks you for the great customer service, it was appreciated!

The staff was really kind and helpful but sadly the store was filled with molded food on my visit. Most of the produce section was molded and I had to return the prepackaged salami and cheese that I had JUST bought minutes earlier (opened in the car) bc it also was molded despite the sell by date not being until months out. Also the prepared goods section included foods that were visibly no longer safe to eat. There appeared to be a mold issue so I will not be returning unless that changes.

I don't usually shop at Safeway because I heard it's expensive, but I just price checked some things I usually buy at Walmart and/King Soopers and it's the same

Always find what you need, unlike Walmart.

Clean generally well stocked even right before holidays. Good quality produce, meat, dairy. There prices are fine if you use a safeway card a little high without it. No complaints very satisfied with this location and staff.

The Mesa Ridge Safeway is, in my opinion, the best Safeway in town. This place is a high traffic store being so close to Fort-Carson and in the biggest shopping center in that area. It can be quite busy.

Their deli has a huge selection of hot and cold products. The checkout stands can have long lines but they seem to be well managed. The bakery here is also relatively big compared to their other stores.

I think this was one of the first stores to do their themed upgrade and it was quite aesthetically pleasing.

We were visiting from TN so we went to the store to make sure we were able to prepare meals without missing anything. (We were at my GDs house who don't cook) We strolled through the store and decided we'd have Steak one of the nights. We got TOMAHAWK and Ribeye. Man that was some of the BEST BEEF EVER! MELT IN YOUR MOUTH! All I used was garlic and black pepper. I told my daughter I'd NEVER BUY BEEF IN TN AGAIN 😅🤣🤣

I am from fort Myers Florida. Your store Safeway seems to be a lot familiar with the Publix. You have upper-class items. I really want to say you're a very very nice store. Customers should be very lucky to have you.

This Safeway is the best grocery in Fountain, CO in my opinion. Great layout, even better fresh fruit and veggies section, including organic options. When most of the other groceries are almost 30+ minutes away, this one caters well to the folks down here. This store could be a slouch, but it's not. Fresh sushi every day as well!

Nolan was just a genuine person great welcoming smile, great character, and an awesome employee. I went in to get a box of me Lucky Charms and a gallon of milk and Nolan went out of his way to go grab them for me and he checked me out. You guys have a great employee, make sure to take care of him

Just want to update my already great review. I've started using the pharmacy for all my medical stuff. They are incredible. I can't speak high enough of everything they do. Such a huge improvement over all the other guys. You never have to worry with them. In person, on the phone, and online they're so great at everything.
