The Home Depot

This is my local Home Depot. Since purchasing a home a few years ago, I’ve probably come here dozens of times for various reasons. My most recent visit to get supplies for a new dishwasher install is prompting this review. There is a certain negative connotation with “Big box” stores and I’ve certainly had experiences here that would align with that. Today an employee helped me in the electrical department and the experience was exceptional. He took the time to ask about my project and steered me towards a better solution. I very much appreciate his expertise and professionalism. Sadly I didn’t catch his name, as he rushed off to help another customer. Whoever was working electrical on Saturday March 2nd - HD, you need more folks like him.

It's my first time purchasing a brand new washing machine, and doing it alone. Thankfully I was in excellent hands when a kind and courteous employee named Marc approached me offering his assistance. I browsed the Home Depot app the previous night so I pretty much knew ahead of time what details and specifications were definitely important for my family's needs. Marc was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, no matter how silly I thought they were. Marc totally understood that I needed to be completely confident with my final choice so he patiently explained the exact comparisons between the 2 washers that I liked the most. He never once rushed me through the sale and process which definitely convinced me that I knew I was in good hands here! I wish all department store associates had Marc's respectful attitude and amazing customer service skills, unfortunately they don't. I will continue shopping at Home Depot in Watchung especially knowing there's great employees there like Marc! 💯👍👌🤩😊

I was in this store and bought a vertical blind. Tisia and Brian, I hope I spell Tisia name correctly, were in the pickup and return area. Tisia was helping me to check if the long blind fit into my car. Brian and Tisia both brought the blind to the car to see if the blind fits. The service was excellent. I am impressed and highly recommend to work with them.

brought my puppy Shiloh here last week -- the store associates were responsive, and so sweet in their interactions with him! He had an excellent time meeting new human friends and getting all the pets! Thanks Watchung Home Depot for being inclusive and welcoming to my baby!! (also my dad loves coming here for supplies!!)

Home Depot is essentially my family’s second home. This store may be absolutely nuts at times but when you have an issue, the staff/ managers are terrific. George was more than helpful assisting with an issues with a recent purchase. Thankful to have such responsive staff members.

Currently working on a project to fix my couch with my parents. Needed one more piece of plywood/panel wood so we hopped right into the car and came to our local Home Depot! It was just my mom and I and we walked in, clearly looking confused on where to start, and a lovely gentleman named Herman greeted us immediately! He helped us find exactly what we needed for our budget, cut everything up for us and sent us on our way! :) We were in and out in 20 minutes thanks to him. Star example of excellent costumer service! Thank you again Herman and Home Depot!!

This home depot seems to be very efficient. The way this home depot is managed I think is better than most home depots. I'm convinced it's because this home depot does heavy volume and have to be super organized or else chaos. Anyway it's layed out well, even the different customer service areas are way more convenient than most other home depots.

The windows and door team led by the manager Kelsha at Home Depot Watching store are really helpful and diligent - way better than any other Home Depot Stores. My windows were improperly installed without flashing causing major water leaks and damage and we have to replace them. I hired multiple handy men who just came and sealed without a permanent solution. Went done to the Watching store, a customer service gentleman (wish I got his name) pointed me to the right contractors I should hire not just any handyman - roofing and Windows contactors, he patiently explained to me installing window flashing require the siding expertise as the thickness of the siding needs properly measured prior to insyalling the flashing or windows. He was right. Also the lady who helped order the windows to the manager Kelsha who went above and beyond to help me fix the issues I had. You can tell they really genuinely want nothing but help their customers to find the best solutions. Thanks Kelsha and team!!!

Home Depot is good at any location that I’ve gone if you can find some thing they’re very friendly to try to help you if not they tell you that that’s not their area but don’t either call someone and old always asked me know if they have make up the parts not there do they have any on the top shelf? Do they have any extra somewhere else? Because sometimes I have to come back and then that I haven’t had any problems with any other Home Depot

Commercial or residential everything is possible to find it is not difficult or easy access to be able to make dreams come into real life

I needed a plumbing part that wasn't in stock and I was told I can order it online and would be there tomorrow. And it was!!!

I went to buy sticks or metal stake for my tomatoes tree and found bamboo stick very strong come six in a pack , reasonable price and I already brought another set going back next week to get one to trained my pumpkin vine .

Experience in the store is generally good, and I really want to give Marjorie from the window desk a five star! She’s extremely capable and knowledgeable. We placed an order for a large number of windows and some of them had to be returned. She worked out the best solution for us and the entire process was smooth and clear.

This is by far the best location I have been to. Everything I needed they had and easy to find. A worker named Doreen went over and beyond helping me get the items I needed while Juggling two kids. Thank You so much for making my experience so smoothly.

Perfect! This is your one-stop shop for anything you need in repairs. I’ve been a customer here for over 20 years and was never disappointed.

Recently I came across a major project where I need over 500 pieces of wood. After speaking to the store manager, they directed me to the PRO desk and sat down with Vera. She was awesome! Showed me different pricing and really worked with you to not only complete the order, but keep communication with me. When your spending major money and paying up front. I actually felt comfortable working with her at the store. It usually takes 7 days for the order to get to the store and $80 for delivery which is a GREAT deal. They’ll deliver where you want it, let you know an ETA and call you to confirm everything at least an hour before hand. Local shipping companies don’t do that.

As for everything else needed on a monthly basis, they have it all. Thanks again for your continued excellent customer service and keep going strong!

The store is usually well maintained. very easy to find help when you need to find something. for the most part everyone there is friendly and ready to help you if say you need help getting something in your car. there are some people who look like they would rather be home than at work but i guess it happens, i try to stay clear of those people. but over all im usually happy to shop at this home depot. keep up the good service
