What a wonderful shop!! If you even remotely like books, you can find something to enjoy. If you love books, you can leave with a happy sigh and a bag full of books. Definitely a must-visit.

BOOK HEAVEN This place is the BEST!!! I'm a bookoholic, and this is by far the most amazing book shop I've ever been in!! The smell of old books when you first open the door is heaven, as are the floor to ceiling shelves crammed full, and the vintage rolling ladder. They have everything from the latest and greatest books (or can order them for you) to the old and rare collectors. Anything you want/need they have or can get. Cannot recommend this place enough!! Can't wait to go back!

Very interesting... magical look. Books fly to the ceiling, the look of 100 year old bindings smile as you walk in. Then, as you take one foot into the doorway, you feel as if a spell is being cast at each smile that greets you.

Wonderful and enchanting! This is a fantastic and beautiful bookstore with a great variety of genres and authors.

Remember the look on Belles face, from the animated Beauty and the Beast movie, when she saw the Beasts library? That is the reaction we had when we walked into A Wicked Read. Just wow! A cozy store with floor to ceiling book shelves and an ambiance well worth the trip!

Such a wonderful, local bookstore. As you know, these are becoming more and more difficult to find. The design of this place really speaks to me as a reader and capitilizes on the small space. I went in looking for a book and spent an hour exploring the shelves and having a great conversation with the owner. They might not have what your're looking for but that's all part of the fun when book hunting. Will definitely recommend and be back soon!

Took my daughter and granddaughter here today because I bought my daughter some books for Christmas from the store and they would immediately fall in love with it, She loves the whole old style ladder and the environment! No pictures we're taken because they were so Amazed!

Personally, I am not a person from books. Short reads are fine with me. But this store will absolutely have me coming back for more. The vast variety of categories and topics are mind boggling, and I could even find a few things to catch my young boy eyes! The staff is super kind and helpful, and love to chat! I definitely will be returning with my friends, and making quite the drive to get here.

Well curated bookstore. Owner and staff are very knowledgeable and can you to reads based on your interests. They have other books in storage and if you want to support a local business they will order new books for you.
Also they will trade/buy books for store credit.

The small storefront opening up to a dazzling floor-to-ceiling display of books calls to mind Ollivander's wand shop from Harry Potter, and inspires equal excitement and wonder. Their selection is varied and novel: you will find a great number of unique, even antique finds there along with all the classics and some modern, popular reads. They even offer Blind Date With a Book for very affordable prices, if you're so inclined or suffer from analysis paralysis like me. And, they are kid-friendly. There's a nook full of children's books where your little ones can explore new favorites of their own, and recline at the table or bean bag. There really is something for everybody, and the owner is friendly and helpful. It's your dream bookstore!

I was just passing through the area and stopped in. They were able to find most of my wishlist on the floor to ceiling shelves. Would totally recommend to any book lovers in east Texas.
