This Local Game Store is one of the San Diego area's hidden gems. The staff were all a pleasure to do business with and the selection of singles and accessories offered is one of the best in the area. The pricing is also super competitive. Coming from an area of California where the LGS scene is non existant at the time, this LGS sets the standards for everything an LGS should be. I recommend any locals or visitors come here before any of the competition. Especially if you are a Yugioh player.

Gamezone always has good cards. I'll pay them before I ever pay scalpers out there! Just a fun place to go!

Quality of everything was good (Went for pokemon cards, however they have a VERY large selection of other cards too), in fact first box I got from this store I pulled a alt art Espeon, safe to say I'll definantly be back to buy more!

When we lived in the area this was our go to for Magic the Gathering. Huge selection of Pop figures, and they always had a spread of different trading card games in stock. Their prices for fat packs / bundles were always competitive too!

Pros-Everything a card shop should be, local play, singles for sale, displays, helpfull people, they will fill custom orders on demand if in stock. Valuable cards well priced. And large stock
Cons- please more lighting over gaming tables, it's kinda dark. Limited parking.

Store is amazing. Been coming here since 2011 owners are nice and honest. You can always guarantee to get your Yugioh, Pokémon, MTG, and etc products here as well as card products from deck boxes, card sleeves, and trading card binders as well.

A cozy trading card store that seems to specialize in mostly in Yu-Gi-Oh and MTG. They have sports memorabilia and an impressive stock of various Funko pops.

Best card shop in south SD. Alot of inventory of multiple TCGs and great prices. They even have an expanded collection of funko pops and offer them at a good price. I've been coming to this shop since 2009 and never had a negative experience. Also dont believe the people down below saying the packs are "resealed", they just dont know how ratios work and are just a bit salty. I've opened boxes and boxes and boxes and never had a thought of "hmm this has to be resealed". Dont post baseless 1 star reviews cause you didnt pull great.

They are very kind and knowledgeable on yugioh cards. They have great prices and I simply love that they sell singles. They always have the newer stuff while also having really old boosters and decks. I've gone to other places but none are as vast as GameZone in their variety of yugioh cards. If you're looking for cards this is the place to go!

EASILY one of the best card shops in San Diego. Stan is a very respectful and knowledgeable owner, who has been around for long enough to know what works and what doesn't, and will always help you as best as he can. He carries a wide variety of products for all kinds of groups of hobbyists, be it TCGs, Funkos, video games, sports memorabilia and more. There is always someone at his shop, be it himself, one of his sons, his wife, or even a few regulars, that will be glad to make your visit enjoyable. I have been coming here since 2015, and will continue to come here as long as I am in the area. Thanks for making basically a second home for many of us!

The owners are sweet and very patient. They hold off on raising prices on anything even during heights of hoarding and scalping by others. They've given bonuses to my young son and even gave him an impromptu guide to him for his birthday.

Game Zone is an awesome place to go I've been going there since I've been in middle school and is definitely the best place to get your cards at. I've been to other trading card stores like in National City, San Ysidro, City Heights and etc but they never have quite the selection that Game Zone has to offer. Game Zone has more cards, the owner gives great and affordable prices, the owner and his wife are very kind and when I need help building a deck the owners sons are always very knowledgeable. I always have the best time when I stop by Game Zone. 5 STARS. If you haven't been there before and are reading this be sure to stop by you won't regret it.

Straight forward. Ignore the whiny reviews. *Edit* I have made at least 10 purchases in the past 5 months or so. This has become our go-to place for pokemon cards and funkos. They have good prices on Most pokemon products ( the trainer tool box could be knocked down $5 bucks, since they are made to attract newer players who want to get competitive) Some are elevated due to fluctuating market prices, understandingly . Taxes are included on the price tag. I noticed that some people comment about resealed packs lol. Pokemon has had really bad quality control lately. I have bought plenty of sealed product here and have had no problems.

Great place for sports stuff and card games. They also have some video games and video games accessories. Of course Amazon would be cheaper, but I choose to support our local business, and the price difference is hardly that big. I'm a frequent customer, and I've noticed Seth has given me and my friend a few discounts here and there just because we are frequent customers. 10/10

great customer service and prices, I put a deposit down to pre-order a booster box, and they reduced the price of the box by the amount paid for the deposit

Ever since I heard about Gamezone from a couple of friends from college, I always had a really good experience when I go there, I like the atmosphere with the other card players and the owners themselves. I go around to many other card stores located in San Diego, Long Beach, and Areas up north such as Temple City. All what I care for is the fun atmosphere for when it comes to the cards themselves.

this place is cool. i take my 8 year old once a week since its next to the pet store where i buy food for our snake. there is always some type of card battle going on in the back. and the owners are really nice.

I love coming here my brother and I go here almost twice a week. The employees are very helpful and their Yu-Gi-Oh library has everything you'll need. Best card shop I've ever been to.
