I've been shopping at Glut Food Co-Op for over forty years. The service and quality of the produce and products keep me coming back. My favorite go to place, for a quick healthy snack, or lunch.

The Glut has been around for over 50 years now and has an interesting story behind it. I remember going here as a kid also. All kinda of healthy ingredients and organic food.

It's been a long while since I've been here. They have a lot of items here. Prices not bad, but it depends on what you are buying. The folks are nice and helpful too.

I just love Glut Food Co-op! I was looking for Water Keifer Grains! I didn’t want to buy them online. I now know Glut sales water keifer grains😊

It’s 1968 all over again. If you want nutritional yeast, it’s one of the few places around here to find it. Been going there for more than 40 years.

Amazing herb selection.
You can feel the old school vibes when you walk in.
Maybe it's crazy to say, but it smells like a health food store. Made me feel at home instantly. I'll be making it a regular stop from now on.

I love this co op store prices are affordable and workers are very helpful. I'm never disappointed and the stock is full and can find almost every herbal needs from diet to skin care.

One of the best low key grocery stores to both shop at and volunteer for script. While there were some bad apples, the staff for the most part were chill. Not in agreement of them still ordering masks. But still cool. 5/5.

Rare finds of vitamins and food. I purchased tumeric roots from refrigeration section.

I love this place! It's been my main grocery store for 11 years. I've never seen a place pack more variety into a smaller space. No need to walk down long aisles past products I don't want to buy. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. The bulk selection is unmatched even by stores 10 times the size. Groovy tunes are always playing. It has all the charm that Yes and Whole Food lack. If you haven't been, give yourself a treat. If you have been but not recently, give it another try. Gotta support our local independent stores or they'll go away!

Volunteered here about 20 years ago and kept wonderful memories from the experience. I am happy to see that GLUT is still around and serving the larger community.

Great local, organic, healthy shop. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. It's a landmark in Mount Rainier.

Good place to shop for regular and vegan foods

Awww man, I can't say enough good things about this place. From the time you walk in and groove to the Dope music that they're playing...you'll enjoy yourself while you shop for dried fruits and specialty nuts at reasonable prices. Fresh organic produce, CHECK. Very eclectic vegan and vegetarian snack food items, CHECK. I love the people who work here they're so friendly cool and upbeat. It gives me the vibe of DC the OLD DC....you must, you must support local owned businesses. Cheers!!

The best co-op in the area. Small enough that the staff will remember you but large enough to stock all the food options expected in a health food store. I come here to buy specialty items I can’t otherwise find OR to buy items cheaper. I personally love their Irish Sea Moss supply, variety of Bob’s Red Mill products (especially the teff flour), and the prepared vegan foods in the refrigerator section. My husband finds all types of herbal and beauty supplements here as well. Located in a quaint part of Mt. Rainier.

After aeons, place looks the same. Gritty, quite dungeon like. Nothing polished, all good. Visit up. Not your modern storefronts and OK in. Not as welcoming like the old days. Who knows. A fav, few picks to select from. Historic. Swing by if in the neighborhood. Parking can b tight.

I loved it since I started visiting the store back in September 2011. It was overwhelming initially due to the variety within the bulk section, but you get the hang of it after a few visits. I'm a tea guy and really like their options for green teas. Glut is in no way a hipster type of place. It's kept its hippie culture intact, which I love. If you are serious and conscious about your what you eat and drink, Glut is the place for you.

Great raw veggies ,fruitss and a vareity of dry goods and earth friendly ,cool staff. Goat cheese,candles ,home made soaps, too much to list. Long before there whole & trader joes the was GLUT.
