Cafe Prague

This place is fantastic!! Unique, cozy, outstanding food. Such a welcome gem! Chilean sea bass special was so unusual and quite honestly perfect. Get it before it's gone! All of the other food was excellent as well. Tawny port flight was the cherry on top of a delightful experience. Elicits joy. 10/10

My friends and I enjoyed a nice dinner at Cafe Prague. The service was excellent. They were courteous, knowledgeable, timely, professional and friendly. We enjoyed our authentic German beer and the appetizer of Beef Carpaccio. The carpaccio was tender and flavorful. Our second course was delicious french onion soup. The broth was light and full of flavor, rather than the dark heavy broth one usually gets with this soup. It was so good and ample enough for 2 people to share. We enjoyed the pork, chicken and wiener schnitzels. All were tender and crisp to the touch. They were served with authentic mashed potatoes, sweet and sour cabbage and brownsauce. The Sweet and sour cabbage was authentically and perfectly made. It had just the right amount of sweetness and fermented kraut taste. A perfect balance of sweet and sour. Delicious! The other entree we enjoyed was the Bohemian Sauerbraten. It was roast beef with a dark gravy, served with the sweet and sour cabbage, lingonberries and dumpling. It was an amazing comfort food entree! Our dessert was apple strudel. Delicious! We will definitely return for this authentic German/Czech cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant for the food and service!

Anyone that knows me, knows that I don't like fancy restaurants that charge you for the atmosphere and give you little, mediocre food at a high price point. I like hole in the wall type of places. Cafe Prague is that hole in the wall (more like hole in the mountain) while being more classy than fancy.
As a food lover, I cannot say anything negative about this place. Their food is simply AMAZING!!! Top quality ingredients, mixed with a beautiful menu prepared by their unbelievable executive chef Ales. I know Ales through a friend, and he always comes out of the kitchen and says hi to me. Same with the owner Dennis who is in the front. They are 2 of the nicest people you will ever meet. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night. I have been going here for years, but after my last visit, I had to finally write a review.
I made a reservation for 10 people for my girlfriend's birthday. They not only gave me the private room, but the waitress was very nice and patient. The food was prepared to perfection. I have never reviewed a place and talk more about the people and restaurant than the food itself. You just have to try the food for yourself to experience it as it cannot be put into words.
So if you want to experience a great night out, excellent service, and top quality cuisine, treat you and your special someone, or even your family to Cafe Prague. You will not be disappointed.

Every single bite was delicious. One of my new favorite spots. The service was just as good as the food, our waitress was hilarious and wonderful. I wasn't expecting to be blown away by an unassuming little place in Morrison, but you have to come here. Both the stroganoff and Chilean sea bass were incredible. I've lived in Denver for 2 years, this is the best meal I've had. That is not hyperbole.

Had a nice dinner experience at Cafe Prague. We had a reservation for a group of 8 and were seated in a private room, which was nice. Our server wasn't particularly friendly, but sufficient getting our orders and food out without issue. The lighting is pretty dim, but sets a cozy mood. For food, we tried the escargot, which was garlicky and tasty, and the calamari, which was good. Everyone's entrees looked good and all said they were enjoyed! We tried the beef stroganoff with spatzel and cabbage, which was hearty and tasted good, and the schnitzel with mashed potatoes and cabbage, which was also good! We'll be back to try a few other menu items!

Delicious and such great atmosphere. We really enjoyed our meal here, it was a special treat. We got two types of schnitzel and we thought we would never be able to finish it but it was too good to stop.

What a gem! We’ve driven or walked by this spot so many times and finally my husband made a reservation to come in. We loved it! Cute, cozy atmosphere, I felt comfortable and like I could linger there awhile. Our service (Eva I believe) was wonderful. And our food was fresh and delicious. We will be back!

Cage Prague did not cut any corners with their restaurant week dinner menu and service. We were so impressed with the flavorful, authentic European dishes, generous serving sizes, and cozy atmosphere. We will definitely have to return soon.

This is one of my go-to restaurants for entertaining guests out of town. The food has always been incredible and the bartenders are so genuine. The owner who serves as the host can be a little cold, but it's just the culture to be no-nonsense. Don't let it deter you. Lakewood should learn from Cafe Prague and get more bistro restaurants like this that create a wonderful dining experience.

Great customer service. The food was delicious. Duck, Onion Soup, Calamari, N.Y. Steak. Really recommend. Be sure to make a reservation first. The place is popular and table are booked fast sometimes.

My husband and I chose Cafe Prague for our Valentine's Day date and couldn't have been happier. We can't stop talking about it! We loved every aspect - the super cozy atmosphere, the high-end service, menu options, incredible food, paced out courses, and just overall vibe of the restaurant. (We absolutely loved the shrimp cocktail, escargot, veal weiner shnitzel, and beef stroganoff. The only thing we weren't crazy about was the butter lettuce side salad) We are already planning our next dinner there, hopefully on the patio in the summertime! Don't skip out on this darling restaurant!

We had a lovely meal here, the food was delicious and fresh, and the ambiance on the patio couldn’t be beat. The service was impeccable, with the team going above and beyond to make our night. The chef even whipped up an extra vegetarian dish for us which was delicious. Come here before your next Red Rocks show!

My favorite restaurant and chef in the Denver metro. The specials are always incredible, as is everything on the regular menu. If you don't know what to get I'd say go for the baked brie and the Colorado lamb shank.

Came recently and was surprised I was able to get a reservation last minute as this place is usually slammed. It's the only place so far that I have found in the US that has authentic Czech food. It's a bit pricey but they do everything so well, it is worth it! I got the Svickova which is a dish not listed and I HIGHLY recommend

Came in tonight for dinner with my boyfriend and cousin. We didn't have a reservation, but they were able to accommodate us even though they were very busy. The food and service was excellent. We ordered the escargot and carpaccio apps. For dinner I ordered the duck confit, boyfriend had the German platter, and cousin had the Colorado lamb. Best sauerkraut and cabbage I've ever had. For dessert we ordered creme brulee and a delicious hazelnut and chocolate cake.

We can't wait to dine here again and try more of the food!

First time in Colorado and our friends recommended this restaurant. I was amazed with every entree, appetizer, drink, and dessert. Our waiter Logan describe the food is such great detail that I wanted to order one of all his suggestions. The greeter at the door was entertaining. I would say this is one of my top resturants I have ever gone to. If your in the area, stop by and enjoy their outstanding food journey.

Morrison town gem. The wait staff was incredibly professional (shout out to Eva); knowledgeable on day of specials, wine (including pairings), drinks, and entrees. My brother said the French dip soup was the best he has ever had. We had the Duck Confi and German platter; both incredible. Felt like I was back in Germany/East Europe. Cake of the day and Creme Brulee were to die for! Patio and music fits the mood. Was the best meal and service we've had in years. The Czech draft beer was great too! Oh and they actually do Bavarian dumpling potato like they should be. Getting hungry to go back wrting this. Do note, prices were a bit higher than as you see online.
