Went with a friend Definitely was a meal to remember I loved it, it was very delicious hot cooked well I’d definitely go again I go the tofu hummus wrap it was so good🙌🏽

**I noticed a lot of the 5-star reviews for this place are reviewing the River Market as a whole... this is for the specific Garden Square Market/Restaurant/Convenience Store.**

So... this place was very frustrating. We ordered dessert from here after having amazing Thai food from Bangkok across the market. Garden Square had one person working, and she kept stopping making orders to take new orders. Everything was just piling up and there were a ton of people waiting and losing patience. We ended up getting our peanut butter shake after 20 minutes and s'mores crepe after 30 minutes.

The shake was really, really good. The crepe was fine. I'd go here again if there were more people working, or if we ordered before ordering our lunch so that dessert would be ready by the time we finish eating. Otherwise, it's just not worth the time and frustration.

I really want to like this place. I've been several times but the food & drinks are always inconsistent in taste and portions.

The smoothies made me wanna vomit. I ordered the tango mango smoothie, it tasted like soap. The most terrible smoothie I have ever had in my life…

Garden Square Cafe - They served me the driest cake I have ever had. I have tasted sand moister than this piece of German Chocolate cake. This cake had to have been there a few days to be this dry. I knew I should have walked off after the cashier walked away; she looked at me and walked off as I walked up to the cash register after another gentleman had placed his order. Desert looks are deceiving. I would have taken it back, but I had left the shopping area, and it would have been more than too much trouble to take it back.

Terrible ice cream. The cookie dough that is. Doesn't even resemble the taste. Sugar cookies were dried out as well as their rainbow cake. Was not worth the money. Also the cashier was really rude.

Every Saturday I run downtown...I try to give business owners the benefit of the doubt, but since the reopening of rivermarkert...I've noticed their overall terrible customer service...especially with people of color!!!
