Lakewood Fish & Seafood House

What a wonderful time we had celebrating the anniversary of our parents over a great meal! Sam greeted us and made our dining experience so enjoyable. The menu has a great selection. The crab legs were our favorite along with the dips appetizer. Great drinks, laid back atmosphere.

Went in for dinner on a week night and sat at the bar. Our server was fantastic. The food was prompt and delicious. Seasoning was great and portions abundant. We will definitely be back!

This was my first time eating here and it was so fresh & so delicious! This restaurant is a hidden gem for sure. If you want to eat fresh seafood, come here! The hushpuppies were absolutely delicious and my fries were perfect and seasoned really well. The shrimp were hand battered. I’m very impressed with the shrimp basket I ordered to-go. Next time I’d like to try the crab claws.

We went in for seafood, which for this natural-born Floridian, was absolutely scrumptious! The crab legs + oysters-on-the-half-shell were some of the best I’ve had in a long while (even having crab legs in Florida this summer.) The seafood platter (fried) was everything I was hoping for (with the exception of not having clam strips.) It comes with so much food, you really should split it between 2 people. The seafood chowder - Oh my goodness - SO GOOD.
My son had the Chicken Parmesan (not pictured) which was a plate full of spaghetti and a thinly sliced, breadcrumb-coated fried chicken cutlet topped with really good marinara sauce.
My husband had a Mexican Chicken Wrap and another guest had the Queso Burger which was unexpectedly amazing! I’m not a huge off-the-cuff burger fan, so I didn’t have high hopes, but it’s loaded with guacamole and queso and holy smokes, I’ll totally order it sometime!
The service was great. Full bar and drink menu. (Price point is standard for seafood and burgers.)
If they have dessert, I haven’t gotten that far yet.
But do yourselves a huge favor and check this place out! It is TOP NOTCH DELICIOUS!

The food was good but the service was fantastic. You can tell these people love their job. I enjoyed our visit here.

We got excellent service from Blake, who was extremely accommodating of my cousins allergy concerns. This included grilling his half of the alligator bites rather than frying them (which turned out to be absolutely delicious). This restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside but I would highly recommend giving it a try!

Great atmosphere and the food is delicious. This place is consistent each time I go and that’s what I love about it. For this particular visit I ordered the catfish meal with cheese grits. So good!

What an absolute delight! The Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Collard Greens, Rice, Fried Okra, Stuffed Clams, and Seafood Chowder were all exquisite! Service was incredible as well! We will be back!😁

Everything was delicious, specially the calamari, we had the seafood platter and there was enough in the plate for 2 people, the seafood chowder was good as well.

Margaritas are good!!! Like sea food? Don't miss this great place!!

This is a great place. I had their catfish and the wife had oysters. We both loved our meals

We just stopped in for the $2 taco and margarita day. Everything was good ,and good service. Can't wait to go back and try all the awesome seafood dishes

I ordered a Cesar salad with Salmon to go. The Salmon was cooked to absolute perfection and the service was outstanding. I think I may have found a new seafood restaurant to dine in.

The service was beyond excellent. The food was great and so was the atmosphere. One of my go to places for a laid back meal. I just wish the bar had been a little better stocked. Amerreto would be good to have stocked.

It is a little hard to find but worth the effort. The waiter was very friendly and my meal arrived piping hot. A nice place to have a relaxing dinner.

I believe the owner greeted us. Our server gave our two year old daughter a fruit bowl to snack on while we waited for our food. The atmosphere was homey. The food was superb. Get the $50 platter. It will feed three. I think this is family owned which is why we will continue to support this restaurant while we live in the area. The tomato based dipping sauce is phenomenal that could compete with those chicken restaurant sauces!!!

I ordered fried catfish and my husband ordered alligator tacos. Both were amazing and cooked perfectly. The guacamole that came with his tacos was absolutely the best I’ve ever had. The baked oysters as an appetizer was spot on.

My family and I dined here recently (passing through the state). It was truly one of the very best meals I have enjoyed at a restaurant in a very long time!! Casual dining atmosphere, the staff was super pleasant (very genuine) and the meal was fine dining. I am accustomed to organic. Therefore, many restaurants often rank from barely adequate to adequate, but I would plan a trip to the area just to visit this restaurant again!!!

The food was good. It was just the right amount/serving.
