Habitat is a treasure trove of furniture, lamps, flooring, plumbing supplies and more. Today's find was a stunning vintage blue velvet sofa and chair with hand carved wood trim that was perfect for my daughter's home. One can easily redecorate an entire home with quality goods at a very affordable price. If you love to repurpose, you will find supplies here at a great price and for a good cause. The staff and volunteers are simply amazing. They are happy, smiling and will even load your furniture for you into your vehicle. This is a must visit often shop.
UPDATE: In my most recent visit, I noted that the prices have increased significantly. A simple console table is $225 and side tables that need a lot of work are $125. When I questioned staff, they reminded me that their costs to build houses have increased. I had forgotten that their mission is to use the money raised in the thrift stores to build housing for the poor. There really isn’t much of a reminder in the store that would help explain this, so an opportunity for their marketing department.

Such a cool place to shop if you're ever looking for something miscellaneous. Staff is always super friendly and welcoming. Prices are better than fair. I never leave empty handed.

Friendly staff.
If you go frequently, you can find some really unique items at good prices. Also, it supports a wonderful cause. Some other thrift/ second-hand stores are fine. However, in my opinion, most don't compare on mission.

I love the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store. Great place to find furniture to flip, building materials, etc., but my favorite is the paint!

My favorite of the ReStores. Never know what I'm going to find and everything is pretty organized with new stuff all the time. Also the staff are so friendly and make it a very comfortable place to visit. Lots of close parking with easy access to the parking lot.

My grandparents & I were looking for furniture for their house since they moved here from Russia and don' have much.. and REKITA was such a nice lady that helped us with everything... She was so great to us... the customer service in this store is amazing.. I hope she sees this and knows she made our day with her kindness.

I just want to thank the two kind ladies who graciously accepted my items for drop off, although I arrived right after closing. I had gone to the wrong location and knew it was a gamble. They informed me they were closed, but gave me an exception. I didn’t deserve it. Rules are rules. Some however, like they, show extra consideration. Thank you!

Habitat Restore has great deals. If they have what you need you get a great price! Most items need some TLC and maybe some paint to refresh the appearance. Speaking of paint - they sell gallon cans of paint for a fraction of the original cost, and many are new! So check them out to save money and support Habitat.

Can get great deals. Don't hesitate to ask for a better price, if condition warrants. Pricing can be quite uneven for used items at this store. All goes for a good cause and keeps useable items out of landfill.

Has lots of stuff, super clean and organized. The workers are super funny, helpf and nice. Also the stuff is so cheap! Bought a good washer & dryer and only paid $120 for the set and they work great!

This store has a variety of things to do projects and at your home along with some furnishings and fixtures. This is a real good cause that you will support and they would like to have donations of project leftovers and things you have changed out. You will get a receipt to help at tax time too.

Wonderful place to buy used goods and furniture at amazingly low prices. Personally purchased a beautiful dining set for 130$ which is hundreds below value. If the prices weren't enough the profits benefit a very good cause.

+Lots to choose from
+High quality items
+Not cluttered, easy to browse
+It's actually organized
+Staff was great
+Good prices

This is the best Re-store I've ever been to. Just skip the Chattanooga downtown location and come here. This one is much better organized, has higher quality items, and is easier to find what you're looking for because things are actually organized, labeled, and displayed. You can actually find someone if you need help too.

**Update from 2 to 5**
Thank you for the prompt response from the owner and for listening. A discount will not be necessary though you can guarantee that I will continue to support and shop at the Habitat for Humanity as much as I am able to. I'm just happy to have been heard.

This 2 star review is for the supervisor/ manager on duty Laura. I had a wonderful experience at this store numerous times before today and today before interacting with her. I found the item I needed and had a great experience with the cashier Jennifer and another employee who helped me carry and load my item. I checked out prior to loading the item and the employee who helped noticed that the item should be discounted 50% and wanted to see how I could get that: either a store credit or a refund. I was grateful he noticed that and was going above and beyond to find out for me and would have gone on my merry way if nothing could be done but then Laura approaches. She doesn't introduce herself ("Laura" is printed on the receipt she gave me) and already seemed annoyed by something.
Maybe she misunderstood the scenario and thought I was an unruly customer demanding a refund? Or she's having an awful day and is unable to separate business from her personal life? Not sure but that's irrelevant. She explained the store policy as if I were a child and noted this would be the only time she could break protocol. I get it, again I was only here because everyone else thought it not a big deal to just inquire as to what I can do. She ended up adjusting the transaction, I thanked her and said "sorry for any inconvenience" then the professional supervisor that she is just said "yup".
It's unfortunate that a humanitarian company such as Habitat for Humanity could allow management to perform their duties in a way that contradicts the mission the company was built upon.
At least the other employees were great, they made my day! I'm sorry my small inquiry was just too much for Laura to deal with.

Lots of good new and "new to you" items. Found a great deal on tile and painting supplies, rugs and more. The staff was helpful and answered my questions to the best of their ability.
