Asian American Market

Great local market!! I was able to find all my essential Asian cooking ingredients such as rice paper, kimchi, kewpie mayo, rice cakes, mirin, nori, furikake, rice flower, etc. I would definitely recommend this market for your Asian cooking needs, especially if you like making sushi.

I've lived down the street from this place for 8 years. They have Asian groceries that I just can't get anywhere else. They have pretty eclectic stuff, but then it's also just a regular old convenience store. I am giving it five stars because of the grocery diversity

Great place! Cashier super nice! Has a very good selection of ramen for a good price!! You could buy tons of packetsfor so much more than the overprices packages from amazon and walmart!! Overall amazing experience will come again!

I absolutely love shopping here for all my Asian treats. I moved from Asia about 5 years ago and this is the only place in town where I can find all the snacks that I used to eat back home. They have chocorooms, ginger candy, rice candy, boba, bean cakes, rice cakes, shrimp chips, seaweed snacks, you name it. Can't live without this store!!

Really nice and helpful people work here. Great place to find things other store's just don't have. Thank you for your help finding ground chilli powder. Our recipe came out excellent. Major love and respect to our local Asian market.

This is such a hidden gem in Ventura. Lovely selection of Asian groceries and items for all my recipes #mygirlisasian. The people who work here are so many wonderful and helpful it just keeps you coming back. I love Rani, Gary, and their handsome young little boy Jimmy. They’re now my new neighborhood besties. Update - just picked up some edamame.

One of my absolute favorite places. They have such unique snacks. I get all my sushi supplies here too.

I love this market!.. The owners are great!..the wife Rani is knowledgeable in healing foods and herbs. Gary is great to talk to ..knows a lot about the neighborhood..and I trust them both! As far as corner markets in Ventura, you couldn't find anything better!

Very nice people. Different food than you find in most small convenience stores around here. Check their frozen section for Indian food. There dry section for Mung beans.
But if you need fresh produce like bitter melon or eggplant you might need to hit the spice Mart near Five Points on Main.

Nice little Asian market. Great customer service....friendly stuff....alot of authentic Asian groceries.... has my favorite mochi and red bean ice cream plus bobas. Always a great selection of snacks, drinks, and ramen, plenty of products when doing home made cooking too.

Grateful this store is still open! It’s not 99ranch but out this way you take what you can get. They carry all of the sauces that your favorite Asian recipes call for that big chains don’t carry. Thank you for your business and making asian cuisine accessible to home chefs in the area!

Perfect location I can get both convenience store goods and asian ingredients for my recipes. Very accommodating mom and pop shop. I stop by every morning just to talk to Jimmy.

I have recently been addicted to tiktok videos and saw some viral cooking trends involving several Asian cooking ingredients, such as nori, calrose (sushi) sticky rice, furikake, kewpie mayo, Sriracha, etc. I was so happy that I was able to find all of these ingredients here as well as the ingredients to make pho, Ramen, etc. will definitely be coming here again to get my Asian fix.

This is such a cool little market. Lots of fun things in here to kind of look at and explore but also if you're doing some Asian cooking you can come here to find those elusive ingredients! People who run it are very nice.

I remember my first few months in the US, I didn't like most of the foods and I craved for African food, then I was told about this magical place in Fargo that has African foods. I went there and I didn't regret it. I do most of my food shopping there nowadays.

Not only is this a great convenience store...they have a ton of unique items you wouldn't find in a traditional grocery store around here. Also, the employees are always friendly.

I always buy my cigarettes here but they have a HUGE selection of food and and beverages or anything you will need. Lots of Asian grocery as well.

This is a very spartan local neighborhood market, but if you like Asian foods, the selection of curries (Indian & Thai) and all other ingredients (lemon grass in the freezer!) cannot be beat! Sticky rice, basmati rice, coconut milk, rice paper, noodles, chilli powder, etc., you name it, they have it!

It's cool it's different the guy that was inside had a huge smile and seemed to like talking to his customers, my younger cousin and his mom live just around the corner and was a kinda cool thing of convenience to be able to shop here
