HEX Superette

The Hex Superette is a market and tasting room like none other, there is truly something here for everyone. I love that they make fermented food accessible through their menu and drinks, they carry their amazing Hex Ferments products as well as carry a selection of curated local and national products with a similar brand ethos. The space is beautiful and refined without being pretentious. Cool music. Cool food. It’s a vibe!

A gorgeous local store with plenty of options to stock up your pantry or grab a quick bite and drink. Their kombuchas are out of this world, the food is really yummy + well priced, and the staff are super kind and helpful. A local staple for sure!

As a charcuterie aficionado, I’m always looking for the next level suppliers for my charcuterie plates. These guys had ginger candy, dates, tinned fish, beer, wine…and of course the fermented foods that started it all like kombucha, kraut and pickles. Highly recommend. I tried chicory root for the first time.

Nice flavours of kombucha, pretty cocktails and NA drinks that taste great, superbly plated food that is offbeat and fulfilling. Definite recommend!

We were referred to hex supermarket by by moe. at the farmers market and turns out, they have an eaten bar with hex fermented, kombucha, and different style, kombucha, mock tails. Very friendly staff and wonderful obliging you to taste different types of kimchi sauerkraut food.

Clean, bright, beautifully organized - just a few words to describe the Hex Superette. From the team behind Hex Ferments, you’ll find a small store designed to help share more local deliciousness. The walls and fridges are filled with local goodies, Hex ferments (both seasonal and yet round) and at the front of the store you have a beautiful bar for both bites and drinks. This is a local gem that I wish I had closer to my house. However, I’ll continue to visit even though it’s a bit of a hike.

It’s great to find an establishment that sell local juice, beer, wine, local produce, as well as local artist/entrepreneurs. I had a tasting of Butterfly Lime and honey juice and beet pickles and purchased them both. The prices are reasonable. You can have cocktails, wines, beer at the bar along with a bite to eat from the kitchen. There are vegan and gluten free entrées. This was my first time visiting but this is on my weekly list for my juice and beet pickles and more. .

My go to for gut health n krauts! And man their whole grain bread is good. Looking forward to eatin in. Menu looks delicious.

The food & drink are amazing, the atmosphere is funky cool, and the staff is attentive and so kind.

I love it here. The space is inviting and relaxing and all of the available options are thoughtfully selected. There are local cheeses, frozen meats, and vibrant veggies lovingly showcased throughout the store. You can get any of their fermented products here, and there are other ingredients for doing your own fermenting. The bar is adorable and the menu is just so. Great parking off of Bellona Avenue is also a perk. I can't wait until summertime because it looks like there's a little patio area out back as well.

How do I give six stars? Had the grilled cheese with kimchee and bulgogi beef and the mushroom enchiladas. 100% will be back soon.

Where else can you go to get a kombucha, sauerkraut, tortilla chips, cheese, a cocktail, and your blinker bulb fixed in your van!!!! I'll totally be back!!

I love this place. I first got into HEX kombucha through local markets and was recommended to stop by the storefront when they opened. Ambiance was 10/10 and so was the staff! Randy was super helpful and I got a chance to meet the owner who was friendly and made some good recommendations food-wise. Will be back! (:

Lovely space, friendly people, easy parking. Have all kinds of useful items in the grocery and a nice outdoor area.

Just moved to Baltimore and a friend introduced me to hex superette. The food and drinks are amazing. I have severe food allergies and the staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back!
