The Home Depot

I live near several Home Depots in the area and this one is excellent. They usually have what I'm looking for and the stock is in better shape than some of the locations closer to Baltimore City. The customer service here is also always pleasant.

Want to hear something cool about the people that shop at Timonium Depot.I lost my wallet it had some loot in it.A store employee spent time with me looking for it,no luck.Then I checked lost and found.My wallet was there.All of my CC 's were there,all my money too.Id really like to thank the person that found it.Happy New Year who ever you are.

This is the best run Home Depot and I've been to at least 2 dozen across Maryland. The employees are extremely helpful, the merchandise is always organized appropriately, and everything is just run very well. I recently was there with a large order and the employee, Irene was her name, went out of the way to help me with the cart just navigating to the checkout area.

As a test, go to this location in Timonium, then go to the one off Eastern Ave near Canton - the difference in employee quality, cleanliness would be evident.

We visited this store on 10/22/2023. It was the most pleasurable experience. MARLAYA was spectacular. She was very helpful and friendly. The level of professionalism that she displayed was simply amazing. I would highly recommend a promotion /raise for her. Anneliese (Supervisor) was very appreciative of my comments to her about Marlaya. When leaving Semira was very helpful as well when she initially assisted us with Marlaya. We were elated when we reached the cash register to check out where we encountered Tyneara. She was very kind as well. The Super customer service that was given to us should be awarded due to the fact that it is very rare to find such a service. I would highly recommend this location to all of my friends and family.

Always a good typical Home Depot experience. Very nice that they have free kids craft workshops on the first Saturday of every month

Amazing what you can find here! Crown molding selection includes one style for inside and outside corners if you don't want to use a miter box:)

This is always my favorite home Depot of all. The employees are the best and it's organized so well. The flooring and tile people are amazing, the pro desk, lumber and just every department is great. Also plumbing and tools area are very organized and helpful employees to give you advice. Can't forget the great and super friendly customer service employees here that many of these employees in this store have been here for over ten years and that says alot and they really care.

Very nice Home Depot. I have been to all of them in the Baltimore area and the customer service and state of this store is better than the others. I have been frequenting this particular location for over a decade and am always left satisfied. There are many seasoned employees who have been working here for longer than that. I called ahead to see if what I was looking for was available, and it was. The person on the phone assured me of the product availability and what isle it could be found in. I burst through the doors with confidence and there was an employee right at the isle who help me look and compare, in product and price. Thank you Lord for the help and the personable employee who helped me. Becoming more confident in my DIY projects!!!

In store, associates are pleasant and helpful, the state is generally tidy and stocked in a way that things aren't damaged. Always a good experience shopping from this location.

Deliveries from them are a mixed bag - I've never had a delivery go well. Though this is my closest store, all deliveries seem to get routed to other Home Depots; usually Owings Mills.

In over 5 tries over the past year, either the scheduled timing is completely missed (paying for 8-10am, getting 3pm...) and/or some part of the order will be lost / misplaced. Once they accidentally resold parts of my order that were put aside for me as we were waiting for other parts to get in stock, leading to additional days of waiting to get replacements.

They have always made it right, but it takes a call or three and some patience... just don't count on them to keep a tight schedule. Go to the store yourself if time is critical.

Was just recently in Home Depot trying to grab a shopping cart all the rubber is missing off their carts they never roll right and anything that bangs and bangs will bust up the stuff you put in your card they need to update their shopping carts to a better system recently I was just in there shopping I rang everything up on my cart self checkout they are Watchers watching the register make sure you don't steal which is a good thing the lady? Stuff me registering everything in my cart watching me like a hawk felt a little uncomfortable then she still asked me if I registered everything I got the impression that she thought I was stealing in fact is I spend 10 to $20,000 a month in the store and I don't need to be questioned if I'm stealing if she thought I was stealing she should have came over and looked at my register and the screen and view the screen instead of questioning me as I was thought was stealing that was very uncomfortable and was not satisfied with that and the staff that watched the register they wear too much cologne it's horrendous you cannot breathe especially when you have allergies and they should not be able to wear so much strong cologne it's unbelievable to me that's just covering

Home Depot > Lowes. I went to home depot last weekend to get a color match on my wall since I did some spakleing and needed to paint over it. Unfortunately, their machine wasn't working so I had to go to lowes. At lowes, they took my sample that I took from my wall and made the paint on the picture. I went back, told them it was way to dark and this nice man named Don added 8 oz of white paint to see if that worked. It didn't. Still too dark. I went back today and told them what happened and someone there took the sample and tried it again, adding 5% more white since he said their machine tends to do a darker color?! Not sure why but I waited to see the samples. Once they were ready, the sample he showed me looked very similar to the color I was looking for in the middle, but the outline was darker than the color I was looking for. I told him the color was still too dark and he said he would make another sample. When I came back, a lady took over after the guy explained to her what he was doing and she said that the paint would be different in a gallon of paint compared to what the male employee showed me. I told her that the color had to match my current color since I was doing patch work and if the color didn't watch it was going to be a one gallon job to a 3 gallon job to paint the entire section of my house. At that point, she recommended I look at the current colors they had and to choose a color similar to paint my walls. I mean, I just told her I was just patching up some sections and she's recommending I get another color altogether so they can make it?!?! I thanked her and went straight to home depot. There, I gave them the sample, told them it was an eggshell finish, and that was that. I went home, ready for the worst. I applied the paint and it was lighter than I expected. But I also knew, based on trials with Lowes paint, that the paint would get darker. Lo and behold, and hour later, the color matched perfectly. You can barely, if at all, see the difference. The paint is just slightly glossier but i think thsts just because its new paint. I am so happy with the outcome and can finally put this project to rest. Obviously, it's not the employees fault at lowes that their machine doesn't work, but the fact that they even confirmed it doesn't match well is concerning to me. What is the point of the machine if it doesn't do what's its supposed to? And why would you recommend me buying a new color as a solution? Not trying to bash lowes so I will say the return for the paint was quick and easy. I just had to insert the card I used for thr purchase and within a minute they submitted the refund.

I never thought I'd review a Home Depot, let alone give them 5 stars, but this location deserves it. We came in on a busy Saturday to buy a washer/dryer and before we even got to the department we were offered help 3-4 times. We were helped by Bill in appliances who was very helpful and actually candid about pricing and availability. From now on we'll avoid our local store and make the trip to this location

the most helpful Home Depot I have been to. Mark in paint was friendly and helpful, and the supervisor in the tile area was helpful, too.

We drove about an hour to get a lawnmower that they had in stock. Come to find out, it was the floor model. The employees at this store were great, they got the floor model off the shelf for us, checked to make sure it had all the parts, and assisted us with checking out as well. Very friendly, great service.

I went to Home Depot ONLY for potting soil and met one there wonderful and friendly staff Ms. Jen (works in Gardens). She was FANTASTIC!!!!!! She educated me a lot on potting soil (as I am very new to this), LOL I shared with her my interests on getting some houseplants, and she offered wonderful suggestions that support my lifestyle on caring for houseplants. She introduced me to three great plants and I bought ALL three! Along with plant accessories. I didn't feel rushed, she took her time explaining things to me, made suggestions on other plants that I should consider when I return to Home Depot. She was absolutely wonderful!!!
Fun fact: when I got home, I didnt know how to open the drainage on the flower pot that she recommended, (it was very difficult for me) so I called the store and asked to speak with her, luckily she was there. Needless to say, she extended her customer service and helped me on how to open it. Something so simple, but yet, I didn't know and she helped me!

That makes such a huge difference to me and makes me great as a customer and want to return.
